Yamaha clutch plates replaced

Clutch replacement for a 2021 Yamaha bolts R-specs series also apply to the 2017 to 2018. you’ll see how to replace all the individual plates and which direction they go. And the spring plate bolts are torque to 5.8 lbs-ft and I think they’re called friction plates, the silver ones with a little donut holes, if you fill one side there’s a roof and feel the other side it’s smooth what I was told in my town from a mechanic that works on bikes said don’t matter which direction you face them along as you face all the same way. If you are wondering what I’m pointing at the Indention on the clutch plate and the marking on the clutch basket the LAST CLUTCH PLATE HOLD IT CLOSE OVER BASKET SPIN IT NOCH YOU WILL SEE IT ON OPENING WITH METAL BACKING. after its laying in it own slot put the plate spring 10mm bolt

Silence is not deafening. Good job. Steel plates are Driven plates, in-between are friction plates. You can re-use them by wet sanding the steel plate to remove dirt or rust and soaking friction plates in engine oil overnight, they will come back to original shape. than you dry them, they will be good to go as new.
