Once gaining control and was offered a seat in the council he was recognized for his knowledge on both sides of the force. He's even capable of opening a sith holocron without being driven to the full darkside

We need a Malgus movie. An Old Republic movie that's centered on a big name antagonist that has strong introductions to the hero of the story & the primary villain. Movie 2 swaps Malgus & the "hero," delving deeper into the primary threat. Movie 3 is 90% the hero beating the BBEG with Malgus moving peices to spread media & lore.
Yeah it’s made even more goofy by the fact they actually did have a stuntman come in and choreograph a much more intense, physical and aggressive duel, but they ended up deciding against it, I wish they hadn’t

Dooku vs Anakin and Obi wan (S6 clone war) is so underrated. The fight was a masterpiece of choreography. During the fight, Dooku kept Obi wan on the attack and Anakin on defense. It was a genius move because Obi wans fighting style, soresu, is based off defense, while Anakins is pure aggression, attacks, and counterattacks. He put them both in their weak point and beat them easily.
Fun fact:in ROTS they gave Ewan and Hayden carbon fibre lightsabers so they could actually hit each other and it wouldn’t break unlike before they made contact but held back due to the sticks they were using breaking metal was too hard and hurt there hands wood broke carbon fibre was light weight and durable so this time they went all out
And did you know there was a guy on the set that actually made them when they were on set so that after each take they could get a new one since they did bend a bit
How do people not realize why none of the live-action duels are sped-up or slowed down in post? If they altered the speed of the fight later on, it would either look choppy or goofy. The rumour about slowing down the fight comes from the team telling the actors to slow down, not them changing the speed in post.
Luke vs Vader in both Empire and ROTJ deserve to be here The ROTJ one specifically just is so fun to watch and so well made, that shot when Luke goes all mad and starts attacking Vader and the camera is watching it from (what I think is) under the stairs and you can make out the two characters but the blades stand out Such a well made fight, and I don’t need to say anything about Empire, you already know how good that fight is

My favorite is maul and savage vs sidious. The choreography and cinematography for that fight is some of the best. With animation there is just a whole lot more stuff you can do then with live action.
Not really. The kenobi fight was longer, had a higher production value (which just overall made it look better.) and was just overall a much more cohesive and complete battle than the remake. No disrespect to the people who did the new hope remake but the official battle in kenobi is better. The only thing the Kenobi fight missed out on was the music and even then the track that was used wasnt bad, it just wasn’t john williams which just makes it inherently inferior. Overall though, the Kenobi fight is definitely above the fan remake.
Even though it's not very long at all, I love the duel between Maul and Kenobi on Tatooine. It's very symbolic. At first, Kenobi takes his Stance from Episode 3, then realizing he needs to be more careful, takes his stance from Episode 4, then finally takes the stance of Qui-Gon. Maul tries to kill Kenobi with the same movie he used on Qui-Gon, but Kenobi quickly counters. Then he finally gives Maul peace knowing that he's training Luke, the chosen one (kinda)

Spoiler: That's the time traveling dark side spirit of anakin right after he lost padme in an attempt to get her back, instead found his way into a fight with his padawan in the future, and Ahsoka literally having walked through the timeline inside the force in some other plane of reality in search to redeem her old master and win him back. That shit was so emotionally loaded, and the fight itself was powerful like holy shit
The fight with SIdious Vs Darth maul and Savage Opress was in my opinion by far the best one, this one showed us how powerful the almighty sith lord Darth Sidious really was, he had no problems beating 2 other sith's at once.

The fight with SIdious Vs Darth maul and Savage Opress was in my opinion by far the best one, this one showed us how powerful the almighty sith lord Darth Sidious really was, he had no problems beating 2 other sith's at once.
