Nice to see your home for the winter. Really cool rig to pull your jeep top. Nice looking jeep! Really enjoyed hanging out yesterday. Thanks for sharing.

Rosie and I rented lots for 10 plus years in the foothills. You would see me every morning biking around for about two hours. The last one we renter was on Karami Ave Last year I tricked out our Brinkley with solar and we went out into the desert near the Imperial dam. More work but lots of fun. We will be back out soon. I always enjoyed the Foothills. Met lots of nice people. Played music with friends several times a week. The LTVA is fun also and lots of music too. Enjoy! Burlington Bill busking on the road and on you tube.

Nice! I'm boondocking just to your west, about 15 miles into California.

@@Stone-Wolf-Outdoors No I can't even see another RV. I am up against some mountains, a bit north of I-8, looking down on the Imperial Sand Dunes about 10 miles or so to the west. Fortunately I don't need anything the LTVAs have to offer.
I have a solar powered cargo trailer to RV conversion that I built myself. I just got down here for the winter from Quebec. 2050 watts of solar panels and 900 amp hours of LiFePO4 batteries. Compost toilet, on demand water heater, full shower, big home fridge with ice maker and drawer freezer. 32 inch computer monitor and Starlink for internet. My fresh water tank is a farm tank in the bed of the Ram and is a luxurious 100 gallons. It just takes seconds to hook the hose up to the water inlet in the V nose of the trailer.
I'm an astrophotographer and move with the moon. I move every two weeks, but could easily stay 3 to 4 weeks in the boonies without resupplying.

@@Stone-Wolf-Outdoors That's probably longer than necessary anyway with the BLM limit being two weeks.
This RV is for boondocking only. I live with it parked on my land in Quebec for 6 months and I'm down here for the other 6. No grey tank. Dishes are done in a Tupperware tub of hot soapy water on the tailgate of the Ram. I have a Y at the exit of the fresh water tank in the bed. One hoe goes to the RV, and a short hose goes to the tailgate area and is gravity fed for rinsing dishes and filling the dog's dish. Drying rack on the tailgate and they are dry in no time. The gallon of water is dumped discreetly in the desert. My shower dumps straight onto the ground..no holding tank to grow smelly bacteria, so there is no smell at all to the water. The kitchen sink is used mainly for washing hands, and usually dumps straight to the ground. For the trip across the country I flip a valve and direct the waste water from the kitchen sink into a 6 gallon Gerry can under the sink. This lets me stay at Walmarts at night on the way here and I can still do dishes and rinse pasta, etc.

It looks like a nice set-up, for sure. I spent last winter in the Fortuna Foothills. We installed our big solar system on our coach there. We're in NC now freezing our butt off. Wish we were there now.
A friend of mine has a similar lot near there for sale on E. Fortuna Palms Dr. just off S. Ave 14 1/2 E I think he's got it rented this winter though. It's set-up for 2 RVs. If you are interested, I'll give you his contact info. I have no Idea what he's asking for it.
BTW if you haven't found it yet, I recommend a littler open air taco restaurant near there called Tacos El Cositas. They are cheap and authentic - yum!

What do lots like this cost a month to rent? Would love to do something like this in Yuma.
