I remember being a somewhat nihilistic teenager as well. What Onision failed to realise when writing "This Is Why I Hate You" is that this cringe-level nihilism doesn't make for a compelling character. Something has to matter, at least to the protagonist, because otherwise they're just a boring person telling a boring story. If the character doesn't care, nobody else should either.

I self-published on Amazon, only to realize afterwards that I had forgotten to add page numbers. I was mortified and quickly set about correcting that and other mistakes I found. I felt terrible for having published something of lower standard. The idea that Onision willfully allows his book to continue in a subpar state is ludicrous to me. Sure, I get wanting to finally be done with a book (one of the biggest challenges for writers is actually finishing a book as there's always more you can do. Eventually you do have to say "done"), but to simply disregard, angrily, obvious mistakes, not even with the story, but just with the grammar, is bonkers to me. Periods and paragraphs are important bro.
As someone who wants to someday publish a book, I've had many doubts that my writing isn't good but seeing Greg's atrocity of writing gives me hope that it might happen lmao

Repzion has some major talent man😂 the fact that he can talk about something as idiotic and upsetting as onision yet still make it entertaining and funny is insane. I really like this channel for that reason. Sometimes it's hard to hear about the awful people that are covered in the videos but Repzion still makes it enjoyable and lighthearted while still getting the point across and being respectful. Repzion sir, you seem to be one of the most intelligent creators on youtube and I'm glad you're here man🌹I also liked when you did content about your pets.

I use to think negatively and believe everything is pointless, but eventually I realised that I personally do not find any joy in that mindset and I didn’t thrive in life. Onisions books actually show how he’s gotten *worse* at writing over time. Stones to Abbigale is bad, This is Why I Hate You is awful and Reapers Creek is worse than the first two combined.

Not surprising...it's doubtful that anybody around Onion (if there is anybody around him) is willing to be his conscience, because his actions have shown that he has NO conscience.
James Holmes also imagined himself as the Joker, so it's concerning that Onision also identifies with the same character and talks about massacring innocent people. I don't think this is cringey; this is disturbing and dangerous. The content is more concerning than the grammar (though seeing the English language butchered like this is nearly as horrifying.)

As someone who wants to remake the Onion's book franchise and has read it with a learning disorder, it was harder to read than any fan/offical character x reader fanfic I can ever read
I hope Beck is doing fine. Imagine writing one of your idols, offering hthem elp for their writing without being paid for it (on top of already paying them yourself) and then getting hit in the face by such childish, self-absorbed words. I absolutely despise how instead of just saying "no thank you", Greg even makes his readers believe they did something wrong until they apologize to him. But I guess this doesn't come as a surprise...

You’ve gotta realize that he probably still sees himself as a 17 year old instead of 30. The way he acts and is so dramatic about everything makes it that apparent. Bravo for reading this book, I think I’d lose my mind before finishing the first half.
