Fun fact: Onision didn't spend that long in the military, in fact he stripped down naked and ran around pretending to be crazy in order to get kicked out. That succeeded.
The best part is that if he would have even given a shit, he would basically be the elite of the elite. Yes he did go to the highest class of Air Force, forgot what of the top of my head. I am not sure if I should laugh or cry because I can not and will not imagine Onision as a full fledged elite soldier.
bad writing aside, the way he arbitrarily assigns sexual assault and trauma history to his female characters just so he can become the hero is so disgusting. His female characters are just bags of trauma who onision is there to save and rescue. It's so disturbing. He has such a savior complex and a fantasy of rescuing the poor maiden that he had to include it in both of his books. And I'm not going to say James or Arthur because let's be real- it's Onision. It's so transparent and telling. He's gross and creepy.
Does RR Martin write about rape so that he can feed his own ego as a savior and god to women he "rescues"? Are female characters in his books merely there so that a psychopath can be their knight in shining armour? I feel like you purposefully missed her point
@@dersuddeutschesumpf5444 GRRM uses rape in ways that are boring and cliche, BUT it isn't the be all and end all of his female characters, and you don't get the sense that GRRM had one hand down his pants when writing about it. The presence of rape also (to GRRM's credit) is usually served to further the victim's story rather than a male character somewhere in her life. Onision's use of assault is very VERY telling - it creates a female character that is at once broken, and sexually available. Her story of assault centres the boy who is special enough to love her (soiled and worthless as she is), and special enough to save her, while she has zero agency of her own - The fantasy of the nastiest kind of dude.
@Alex Beyer I know what you're talking about!! My mom's a nurse and she told me about it before.. I'm pretty suee its just called the "Hero Complex" or "Hero Syndrome", somebody who purposefully creates a desperate situation so that they can save the day.... but I could be wrong.
as a female, if a guy just snaps another guy's arm with a straight face, not a hint of guilt or some kind of resistance, how am i supposed to know he wouldn't hurt me in the blink of an eye? a major red flag imo
A really good point that should be repeated to writers over and over: the problem is not that your character wants to hurt rapists, the problem is the only reason you wrote rape is to give your character an excuse to hurt someone.
Seymour Plank He uses that rape as a plot device and uses it very gratuitously. It serves no purpose than to make us root for Arthur because “hur dur he killed bad man”
amen! This could have also been so interesting, he could feel guilt after losing control and you could explore both of there mental journeys but instead its just power fantasy plot device to save the damsel in distress, truly awful
Yeah, that's a very good point. If he wrote about sexual assault but made his main character part of the victim's support system rather than her white knight, that would put the power in the victim's hands rather than in some random jackass' hands. But Onion Boy has to be the hero so of course he'd never let that happen...

Someone write a short story about the world’s friendliest dominatrix, please. I am already very invested in this character who hasn’t been spun into existence.
Hmmm, i could attempt to write a short story like that but i've got no clue where to put it up for everyone to read. I'm already getting numerous ideas. Not sure how "hardcore" would be too hardcore though.
Theory: The reason there's a school shooting is that this takes place in the same universe as Stones to Abbigale and Onision wants to pitch his own Cinematic Universe to Universal.
That's my theory. They're in the same universe and the same event which was hinted by the Mr. Hanson but it's still so clumsy i can't blame anyone for not picking up on it
@@DrCandyStriper I was waiting for news that the school had burned down, actually. Definitely a "same town, different me" kind of thing. In what I read it's not unusual for authors to insert tiny (or blatant) bits that suggest all these stories take place in the same universe; so I am used to it. It does not work when the setup is genre-crossing, of course.
54:48: Haha, no. Consenting adults can also not just do everything and anything. Consent aint a magical thing after all. Its no magic that makes everything in the world fine and dandy.
Why do I feel like that story that “happened in his real life” never really went that way, only in his mind? Cause we all know that he made up Skye and Shiloh still keeping in contact with him and wanting him back. He’s so pathetic. 😆
@Dumbass uwu i read it with my own two eyes. 10/10 can confirm. the exact instances are Chapter One: Stepdad says "Hi Greg" Chapter Three: Classmate says "Hi Greg and (whatever his sisters name is)" Chapter Ten: His mom wakes him up by shouting "Greg wake up" or something like that.
Things I have learned of the Onion by hearing about these books: -He was an emo tough-guy-wannabe in HS. -He's never really fought anyone and has no clues how they work -He has a R**e fantasy -He got bullied to all hell in HS -He never socially interacted in HS -He can NEVER claim insanity in court due to these books; while he does have horrid terroristic thoughts, he actually reflects on them in the books, showing he is capable of sound judgment. (I love this one the most)
Not true. Sometimes he lures in fan girls who are to young and naive to know better with you tube fame, isolates them from everyone else, and then has them groom other girls into his harem/cult.
It's scary how accurate that is. And yet, in spite of it, people still follow him. His following has definitely dwindled, right? But he's still given far more power than he deserves! The man insists he's not a sociopath or a narcissist, and then exhibits behaviour in line with sociopaths and narcissists. Isolating, gas-lighting, abusing with ultimatums and endless verbal abuse when he isn't obeyed... Can a man like that ever change for the better? In couples therapy, therapists will refuse to deal with an abusive partner because they'll never follow the steps, and will instead turn a safe space into a means of demeaning and abusing their beleaguered partner even further.
If my not boyfriend broke someones' arm for touching me, I would change my name and move to another state because he's obviously deranged and probably would kill me. I would also get a restraining order for good measure as well.
I think it's actually interesting. Because there are women that actually likes that. And those types of women often ends up in a police station to cry about their abusive boyfriend and the police officer looking like "Told you so."
Syndra TheDarkSovereign police officer don’t do told you so. Women who like that usually learn that from their fathers who are likely aggressive. I grew up with a father who was ALWAYS angry and ALWAYS over protective to the extreme. I grew up thinking that was the normal man, even if I didn’t like it. But I matured and learned and realise that’s only a percentage of men (albeit still large) and not all men.
Arthur: Language sucks because people use it to be racist. Also Arthur: Proceeds to call everyone who likes sports insects and says they deserve a painful death. (Using Language)
@@errortryagainlater4240 And considering what Arthur is like. It's a deep flaw of Greg's that he is so terrified of self-reflection that he genuinely can't tell when he's doing (or as a writer, pretending to do) the things he condemns others for.
When Strange Æons made a review, Greg was livid, but he never made a response to you. Me thinks he gets an inferiority complex if girls aren’t instantly drawn to him and sees him as a God, so he gets extremely butt-hurt if they criticise him. He’s such a narcissistic man-child and I have so much respect for you and Æons for making it through these “books”.
If Greg was a Disney villain he'd be Gaston. An arrogant narcissist who wants everyone to love him as much as he loves himself and tries to force any woman not interested in him to love him by any means necessary.
it's pretty simple: Onion boy is such a mysoginistic asshole that he views every single woman as a piece of meat and nothing more. His books are the proof: none of the women in it have anything remotely close to a personality. They're just a myriad of traumas shapen like a female person to our boy in shining armor to rescue Therefore, being a mysoginistic idiot, he can't bear to see someone "inferior" to him (cause lets be honest, he sees women as inferior) criticizing what he does. He needs to feel 24/7 as the big bad Alpha male, and no woman can dare to question his almighty persona
26:22 I hate that I know damn well Greg *LITERALLY* told one of his past girlfriends to dress like a goth to prove to him she cares about him and not just her friends. Wow Greg, and you had to include that in one a book by you (aka literally proving you are in no doubt a sociopath)
UncomfortablyGay TM I’m not kidding, around the time I did watch him he uploaded a video talking about every girl he’s been with. If you have trouble finding it, well good luck going threw his videos about the same god damn topic just for views...
That paragraph of him saying he fantasizes about a terrorist attack shows how shitty he is as a person. “Those tiny insects” have things called goals. And relationships. And lives. Things Greg clearly lacks
Yea it’s honestly astounding how little in terms of goals or long term planning Greg has. Like in literally none of his books do his characters have any sort of aspirations or dreams they want to fulfill. His wants and needs are entirely animalistic “I want gf to have the sex with,” “I want to be violent against people who are mean to me.” Like this becomes especially glaring in his third book where he is a literal god and all his ideas boil down to the most surface level shit ever to the point of hilarity. Honestly would be quite pitiable if he wasn’t such a horrible person.
Honestly the way he includes rape, molestation, and school shootings makes me cringe into another dimension. He handles it so poorly and quite frankly it makes me a little mad. Actually, no, it makes me really mad. In both of his books he uses it as a tool to either make the main charater (an obvious self insert) look super badass or get laid.
this is what happens when people with 0 awareness of the world write stories. They don't understand the first thing about these serious topics. They don't understand WHY they are serious, but they are able to see that other people view them as serious topics. So they insert these "serious topics" into their stories because they also heard that bad things happening to characters makes them develop, or something. Well, what's the worst thing that can happen? Right, rape. But since all their knowledge of the subject comes from horror films and Wikipedia (actually probably not even that, just the dictionary), the result is insulting to everyone who actually lives in the world instead of above it in some metaphorical ivory tower.
I take comfort in the fact that these books have the ultimate cultural relevance of a bad fanfiction. There really is worse stuff to be mad about, like the fact that the guy made any money out of these, proving once again that there's no ethical consumption under capitalism.

The interaction between Arthur and Ashley at around the 25 minute mark is a textbook example of an abusive relationship. Arthur tries to control who Ashley can spend her personal time with. When she refuses and prioritizes something other than what Arthur thinks is important (him), he throws an overblown tantrum and storms away. Then, to regain his affection, Ashley is required to perform an act of contrition to "prove herself" to him. This is abuse. If your SO treats you like this, they are toxic and you deserve better.
Yep. Basically every single thing done there is a major nope. 1. If your partner treats or expresses blandly negative opinions of your friends, like calling them "loser idiots." 2. If your partner tries to get you to stop hanging out with your friends (or family, or basically anybody). 3. If your partner acts out/throws a tantrum/whatever when you have your own opinions or don't immediately comply with their demands 4. If your partner wants you to "prove yourself" to them, especially in the context of the above them throwing a hissy fit over you not blindly obeying their petty wishes. Of course, these do have caveats, or minor variations that aren't necessarily a problem: 1 and 2. If your friends or anyone you hang out with is genuinely a problem, it's understandable for a partner to have concerns about them, but they shouldn't be just insulting them. If your partner perceives some of these people as legitimately dangerous to you, it's okay for them to raise these concerns with you. 3. While throwing a fit over it is almost always going to be a bad sign, it is a good thing to trust your partner (you should be able to do that, of course) and that means sometimes you won't have complete information, and should trust them enough to defer to them in situations where you can't talk out what's going on prior. Basically, you're a team, not competing players. 4. Obviously negotiation and compromise over contrary opinions or desires is normal, and in some cases, it's reasonable for parties in a relationship to make clear requirements for the relationship to continue. Even from early on as non-negotiable elements, the most common of which would be about things like cheating, or violence. Also, I generally hold that the idea that you shouldn't change for people to be nonsense, and that while obviously you shouldn't change contrary to your will, it's normal to be willing to change at least somewhat for someone you care about, but it should always be voluntary, and positively-motivated.
I think I remember watching a video about Onision that went over this, like he and his wife/girlfriend (Honestly don't know or care) decided to get a third person into their relationship, yadda yadda, the new girl 'did' something that annoyed Onionboy and he wanted some sort of contribution from her, don't quote me, last time I watched anything about him was years ago but I somewhat remember hearing something about this. Think Repzion made it, not sure.

I don't blame him. Dude really said he likes to imagine millions of innocent people being killed in a sports stadium all because he simply doesn't like sports. Disgusting.
“Verbal communication causes genocide” but also, “I’ve fantasized about a massive weapon going off in the middle of a sporting event.” So is genocide bad or not??
@@__lemonade So, this is me being a smart ass and flaunting my genocides studies but the argument is more nuanced depending on how one defines genocide. There is the original definition written y the guy who created the study named Raphael Lemkin, the UN's definition (which is the official legal definition but many argue has great flaws), genocide researcher Martin Shaw's definition (my personal favorite though I disagree with some of his conclusions) and many more. One thing that is debated is the idea of a persecuted group. Traditionally, you are right, and both Lemkin and the UN have those as the standard. However, many have pointed to Stalin's killing of political enemies as a genocide against a political group or Khemar Rouges horrible attempt to wipe out the "rich" class. So in this case then yes, Onion has fantasized about genocide. However, there is also the idea of intent (well there are more ideas, but this post is already kind of pedantic) and that is where I would argue the bombing a stadium of sports fans is a mass killing and not a genocide. Now, if he wants to pursue the death of all sports fans beyond this one bombing or at least subjugate them so that they lose their identity as "sports fan" then Onion would, in fact, be what in the genocide academia would call a génocider. PS: So your argument is totally valid, and I hope it came across that I'm showing off my brain muscles and perhaps starting a conversation and not me talking (writing?) down to you.

Just a word on onision's military career... He got a general discharge (one step above dishonorable discharge), he got an Article 15 for having a mental breakdown and walking into his Sergeant's office completely naked to remind them that he was "a human being and not a robot", AND he never went on deployment. He might be a veteran, but he is NOT a war veteran. He deserves about as much respect for serving as an IRS agent. Both have worked for the government and were never putting their life on the line.

Can we all just take a moment to appreciate how much of a hero Krimson is, he wanted, SO BADLY, to stop reading the book, but he kept reading so that no one else would have to.
As a Navy vet, I find Greg's delusional depiction of the military very interesting, and it shows how narcissistic and unable to cope with reality he truly is. I watched the stream Krimson mentioned, and from what I gathered, Greg just couldn't handle some very basic things about life in the military. For example, getting screamed at and made fun of is one of the very core parts of basic training. It's supposed to break you down, so they can build you back up (which some people may have valid arguments against that method, but it works). Greg is too high and mighty to take any shit from a drill instructor, so I bet he did not have a fun time in basic. The idea that Arthur wouldn't get in trouble for all the fights he gets in is absurd. Even minor fist fights in the military carry swift and sometimes heavy handed punishments. They will give you a second chance and sometimes maybe a third for very minor incidents, but the shit described in this "book" he would have been sent to Ft. Levinworth for sure, which is military prison. Trust me, you don't ever want to end up there. You spend all day doing manual labor breaking large rocks into smaller rocks with a pickax. I'd rather be in San Quentin. Apparently Greg thinks that all military members need to be "viscous killers," despite the fact that the majority of military personnel have non-combative jobs, especially the Air Force. I was an electrician who worked on F-18 jets, so I barely trained at all with any weapons, they trained me how to fix airplanes and that was it! The people who need to be killers are infantry and special forces, which Greg would never have lasted to become any sort of spec ops anyways. He could barely handle regular basic for fuck's sake. Ugh, I need to stop rambling. Love the video Krimson!
I was an Army Brat who did a lot of off-the-books office work (5th Sig DCSPER), out in Mannheim, where the prisoners were lucky, if they could get warm water. Not much in the way of manual labor, though.
I mean, I hate the concept of military and hate everything about it. But even I can see the bullshit that Greg put because he can't see far than his nose
Also, I have a lot of military friends and everyone, including the airforce service men, have told me airforce is the easiest basic training out of all of them. Haha

Cora Swan Shadow gladly matured from his edge, learned to move on, and ready to help his friends. Onion is STILL that “2005 edgy emo school shooter trench coat wearing badass Sasuke-esque” person he wishes to be but only ends up being the person that exists to be made fun of.
See in Shadow The Hedgehog it was justified why he was being so edgy. Dude woke up with extensive amnesia, then found out he might not even be the real article, and even after an unknown amount of time still can't piece his history together, and everyone is claiming to know who he really is from all sides and want him to do stuff for them before they reveal it to him. Of course he'd be unstable after that.

I spent a few years doing amateur editing online and yes, can confirm, it does start making you hate a lot of books. There's a freaking lot of bad writing out there, and you start noticing all of it. If you find a cure...let me know.
@jbaum566 YES I LOVE THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE BOOKS I WOULD LITERALLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON (I am autistic and brandon sanderson books are my special interest) 😂
"Because I guess as far as Onision's writing is concerned, (sexual assault) is all women are for." And as far as Onision's real life, if the stories I've heard are true.
26:19 Onision actually did this "dress emo to make it up to me" thing to his girlfriend, the entire scene is taken from his past. His books provide so much insight into how he thinks and it's pretty disturbing.
I remember hearing about that, Honestly i wouldn't be surprised if this 'book' is just his biography (with some selective changes) but with the names changed around. I mean, the cover gives it away, he casts himself as the model of the main character, Arthur is CLEARLY a self insert, and it's something I did when i was writing fanfics when i was 12-13 and all edgy and shit.
Agree! It’s mostly his real life and then just how he feels he comes off. Or who he wishes he was. His characters are like him but a bit more accepted in the end of his “narratives”.
I find it funny as in the last book he said something along the lines of every character being onison just in a whig. I wonder if onison wishes there where multiple versions of him physically existing so he can fuck himself in a different whig.
You can stop calling this character "Arthur" at this point. Just call him Greg, we all know it's the most shameful self insert fantasy in the world. .... Wait, he wrote a 3rd book ?
Kelian Artistauchapeau yeah and pretty much in the third book he accidentally uses his name three times instead of the characters name and didn’t change it. You are actually right with that point.
The worst part is that he has actual human people who follow and listen and look up to him. This idiot has a platform and a mostly female preteen audience and he's using it to glorify abuse/trauma and idolize the Columbine shooters so that he can make his (self-insert) characters (and by extension himself) look like some trenchcoat-clad utra edgelord savior. Fucking disgusting.
Hello fellow female human! I 100% agree with you. His behavior is comparanle to a red flag slammed in your face a couple of times. It is absolutely disgusting to hear that this guy and this book somehow have fans.
I feel like there’s this fantasy of a “crazed overprotective guy,” which I totally 100% get...but it’s only fantasy. Once it becomes reality, it’s like, “No, you’re a goddamn psychopath that I never want to see again.”
Hello fellow humans, yes I also enjoy human activities like breathing and walking. So, where would a human being aquire dangerous technology , for human purposes? I am definitely a human, why would you question such thing?
So Austin has to be the most badass character ever. Not only did he survive a knife straight through his brain he also managed to kill the ultimate badass Arthur while he was blind. All hail Austin the second coming of Jesus Christ. Even Shaggy at 100% power would be scared of him.
...I'm sorry: He didn't NUMBER the pages? What?? Who the F*** writes a book and doesn't number the pages?? Even comic books number pages! College essays number pages. GRADE SCHOOLS NUMBER PAGES!!!
I mean, who the fuck writes a book which includes dating someone with the same name as their daughter and they decide to have said character gang raped. thats some red flags right there
Should have named it "The Incel Handbook" Also treating the Air Force like the Marine Corp is hilarious. If this happened in *any* branch he would have been court marshalled and given a dishonorable discharge at the minimum.
Im glad i wasn't the only one to notice on how he's trying to compare the air force to the marines. I had to read it again just to see if i read it right.
@@liquidanimations3397 A lot of what he described sounded super similar to the bit of it I experienced when I enlisted. While I didn't claim a title and make it all the way through I did remember the treatment. He is basically describing what they show in the youtube videos and barely even that. There was no drill instructors kicking people, there was no physical violence. Just a lot of yelling and a lot of running.
25:43 Arthur was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which he was really happy about. A lot of preps stared at him. He put up his middle finger at them.
“He has angry thoughts, he’s not actually violent.” Proceeds to break someones arm while deliberately making it out as self-defense, fights “the intense urge” to stab a line of girls in the back of the head, goes well beyond what’s necessary to prove himself to assault an instructor and break his ankles, gouge out someone’s eye in a rage-induced blackout, and outright murdering several people whom admittedly deserved it. But he’s definitely not violent, I’m sure anyone would do the same in his position.

12:27 - 'Sure dad tell me how religion brings you comfort, you know there are atheists billionaires who have accomplished things' 1: Religion does bring comfort, that's arguably one of the main ways it propagates. 2: Atheist millionaires did not get their money from their religious views. 3: Religious millionaires absolutely exist. 4: It is possible to be an atheist millionaire and still be a terrible person. 5: 'Accomplishing things' looks different person to person. Marrying someone you love and raising three children is something many people would consider an accomplishment over 'just having a lot of money'. This one passage is fractally wrong. It is as wrong as it is possible to be. I cannot grasp the sheer ineptitude of anyone who thinks like this.
3. I think in his "galaxy brain. smart man" posturing Grego/Arthur forgot about one of the biggest and wealthiestr organizations in the world...which actually solely deals with religion. The Catholic Church. I mean, the higher ups weae signets and golden chains and live in palaces and travel in limousines and have servants. and even the more regular priests...I'm saying this as someone living in a catholic country have like housekeepers to cook and clean for them. and they always drive quite good cars. and it tends to happen that each priest within the parish has his own one.
The worst part (and I see this argument often outside of Onionchild) to me is that people say religion brings one comfort like it's some sort of horrible downside. It's one of the most baffling arguments I've ever seen.

Fun fact: Onision didn't spend that long in the military, in fact he stripped down naked and ran around pretending to be crazy in order to get kicked out. That succeeded.
So, like Klinger from MASH but with none of the charm...? Haha!
The best part is that if he would have even given a shit, he would basically be the elite of the elite.
Yes he did go to the highest class of Air Force, forgot what of the top of my head.
I am not sure if I should laugh or cry because I can not and will not imagine Onision as a full fledged elite soldier.
Really? HOLY SHIT LMAO
What do you mean "pretending" to be crazy? The guy's clearly off his rocker.
Did he ever stop?
bad writing aside, the way he arbitrarily assigns sexual assault and trauma history to his female characters just so he can become the hero is so disgusting.
Oh come this like saying George RR Martin is a pervert for writing in rape scenes
Does RR Martin write about rape so that he can feed his own ego as a savior and god to women he "rescues"? Are female characters in his books merely there so that a psychopath can be their knight in shining armour? I feel like you purposefully missed her point
"bags of trauma" is so spot on. they're just vaguely woman-shaped objects to be saved and to lavish attention on greggy wegg.

A really good point that should be repeated to writers over and over: the problem is not that your character wants to hurt rapists, the problem is the only reason you wrote rape is to give your character an excuse to hurt someone.
Seymour Plank He uses that rape as a plot device and uses it very gratuitously. It serves no purpose than to make us root for Arthur because “hur dur he killed bad man”
To add to that; You are not a good person if you prioritize hurting perpetrators over taking care of victims.

1. If your partner treats or expresses blandly negative opinions of your friends, like calling them "loser idiots."
2. If your partner tries to get you to stop hanging out with your friends (or family, or basically anybody).
3. If your partner acts out/throws a tantrum/whatever when you have your own opinions or don't immediately comply with their demands
4. If your partner wants you to "prove yourself" to them, especially in the context of the above them throwing a hissy fit over you not blindly obeying their petty wishes.
Of course, these do have caveats, or minor variations that aren't necessarily a problem:
1 and 2.
It's the pattern displayed in all his relationships thus far. I would type "lol" but this isn't a laughing matter :(
I think I remember watching a video about Onision that went over this, like he and his wife/girlfriend (Honestly don't know or care) decided to get a third person into their relationship, yadda yadda, the new girl 'did' something that annoyed Onionboy and he wanted some sort of contribution from her, don't quote me, last time I watched anything about him was years ago but I somewhat remember hearing something about this.

I'm wondering out of curiosity. Does onion king actually want a bomb to go off in a place like a football stadium?
@@__lemonade Psychopathic, even?

Not all heroes wear capes
Some review books

Of course he'd be unstable after that.
@@Spiderwebs_69 saskue fucking awesome don't do him dirty like that
You've made me a more critical reader and I hate everything I read now.
Lol, sorry. XD
May I introduce you too the series I'm reading right now?
It's called oathbringer and is written by Brandon Sanderson. If you enjoy fantasy overall you'll most certainly enjoy these books.
Oh or "the name of the wind" written by Patrick Rothfuss, also very nice!
Both books introduce magical systems that i didn't see until then and I highly recommend both of them!
Thankfully I'm too dumb for that. I'll be like OHHH IS THAT A LONG LOST SIBLING TROPE?! SIGN ME THE FUCK UP!!!
In all seriousness I like clichés and tropes as long as they are used sparingly or integrated into a better story that paints a more complex picture.
Or I'm in a great mood and it's a fun story, then I don't care 😂
I spent a few years doing amateur editing online and yes, can confirm, it does start making you hate a lot of books. There's a freaking lot of bad writing out there, and you start noticing all of it.
If you find a cure...let me know.
@jbaum566 YES I LOVE THE STORMLIGHT ARCHIVE BOOKS I WOULD LITERALLY RECOMMEND THEM TO EVERY SINGLE PERSON (I am autistic and brandon sanderson books are my special interest) 😂
"Because I guess as far as Onision's writing is concerned, (sexual assault) is all women are for."
And as far as Onision's real life, if the stories I've heard are true.
TheHeroOfTomorrow oh yhea he is a awful person
26:19 Onision actually did this "dress emo to make it up to me" thing to his girlfriend, the entire scene is taken from his past. His books provide so much insight into how he thinks and it's pretty disturbing.
I remember hearing about that, Honestly i wouldn't be surprised if this 'book' is just his biography (with some selective changes) but with the names changed around.
I mean, the cover gives it away, he casts himself as the model of the main character, Arthur is CLEARLY a self insert, and it's something I did when i was writing fanfics when i was 12-13 and all edgy and shit.
@@Danny191 the fucked thing: it is. The whole combat boot scene was 100% real, so I can imagine most of it is.
Agree! It’s mostly his real life and then just how he feels he comes off. Or who he wishes he was. His characters are like him but a bit more accepted in the end of his “narratives”.
@@finnbenham I had no idea that part was true!
I find it funny as in the last book he said something along the lines of every character being onison just in a whig. I wonder if onison wishes there where multiple versions of him physically existing so he can fuck himself in a different whig.
When a dude with daddy issues tells you he's alpha, You know you better not be in school the next day ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
"John, are you ready to hurt?"
has the same energy as
"Duke, do you want the ball?"
HIGHLY underrated comment
You can stop calling this character "Arthur" at this point. Just call him Greg, we all know it's the most shameful self insert fantasy in the world.
....
Wait, he wrote a 3rd book ?
Kelian Artistauchapeau yeah and pretty much in the third book he accidentally uses his name three times instead of the characters name and didn’t change it. You are actually right with that point.

Hi, female human here. I would run far, far away from any guy like Arthur because that just spells out psycho
I definitely agree. What a terrible character written by a terrible human being.
if a guy breaks another guy's arm for you in a situation like that, you gotta run. that's a bad lifetime movie waiting to happen.
I know, right? No one wants to be in a bad lifetime movie.
Are there good lifetime movies?

So Austin has to be the most badass character ever. Not only did he survive a knife straight through his brain he also managed to kill the ultimate badass Arthur while he was blind. All hail Austin the second coming of Jesus Christ. Even Shaggy at 100% power would be scared of him.
Austin, the true Alpha Male, Reaper of Swines
He's also a rapist. But it's weird to see Arthur being killed
he tried to rape a girl ?
...I'm sorry: He didn't NUMBER the pages? What??
Who the F*** writes a book and doesn't number the pages?? Even comic books number pages! College essays number pages. GRADE SCHOOLS NUMBER PAGES!!!

Also treating the Air Force like the Marine Corp is hilarious.
He's no incel. The guy had kids.
Albrecht von Stollen um. his content. it’s def. incel material even if he has kids.
Well he did fake a breakdown to get an early discharge from the Air force, so...

Arthur was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which he was really happy about. A lot of preps stared at him. He put up his middle finger at them.

hahahahalaksldjajhksakjajdksdj oh my god

This is my edgy smash bros pallet swap
“He has angry thoughts, he’s not actually violent.” Proceeds to break someones arm while deliberately making it out as self-defense, fights “the intense urge” to stab a line of girls in the back of the head, goes well beyond what’s necessary to prove himself to assault an instructor and break his ankles, gouge out someone’s eye in a rage-induced blackout, and outright murdering several people whom admittedly deserved it.
But he’s definitely not violent, I’m sure anyone would do the same in his position.
You know how in highschool there was that kid who hurt insects and said he wanted to join the army?
Same energy

12:27 - 'Sure dad tell me how religion brings you comfort, you know there are atheists billionaires who have accomplished things'
1: Religion does bring comfort, that's arguably one of the main ways it propagates.
His idea of "achievement" is just material gain and nothing else, tbh.
