Also recorded It's About Time, sorry song was What Are We Making Weapons For, with Russian, Alexsander Gradsky. Both John and Billy did a lot to mend Russian/USA relations.
There is no such thing. ALL of his songs are outstanding - not one sounds 'characteristic'. They are all different, tell a story, make you FEEL!!! Love what he added to my life with his musick.

I watched this concert in USSR broadcasted on TV. 1987 and Perestroika was wonderful times. USSR opened doors for Western rock music artists. TV and radio programs became less censored. Billy Joel was one from first guests from the West. Then there was Pink Floyd and Scorpions in Moscow.
