You guys have done such a great job immersing yourself in PNW culture/activities!!! As a Washington native, it’s really refreshing to see people enjoy their experience here rather than just complain about the rain, Seattle freeze, etc.

We lived close by Copslis beach but can’t stand the undetermined weather here at the Pacific Northwest specially at the open ocean. I know how to find them just too cold. Lol

I just got back home to the east coast from visiting Seattle for the first time. I loved my time there, and your videos take me back there. Honestly I'm not sure why you don't have more subs. Your videos are super well put together, and carefully edited. Very well done! Looking forward to the next one!

Hi there! I discovered your TH-cam channel while searching the word “Seattle”. I love it!!!
My husband and I are planning on moving out there in the spring of next year from Kansas City. I just wanted to mention that I have found your videos really helpful and super fun.
We will be visiting this year and will explore different neighborhoods to potentially move to. Any suggestions? I’d love to see some videos where you explore different ones.

Check out and stay at Rock Port before summer season. Floating cabins up in the north Cascades. RESERVE NOW!
Also, go to Paradise on Mount Rainier before Memorial Day weekend. And, also on Mt.Rainier SUNRISE Ridge Park to watch the sun come up over the Rockie Mtns. YUP that is right, Rockies.
Clams: Hahaha you kids crack me up. Neck is the siphon, digger is the foot. Called Razor calms because when hand digging and you press your down hard into the sand the shell's edge will open your fingers like a RAZOR. Go during annual extreme low tide to expose more clam beds.
You should've been here when I was a kid, 1950's-60's, no limit. At Copalis (Co Pay Lis), ask around.Used to be canning services. I would take my bushel sack of clams to a canner and they would do their thing and ship boxes of canned clams for chowders and !/2 the cans were smoked. Might still be one or two left. Try Westport, ask in that clam chowder place there with the chowder in bread bowl. THE BEST chowder. Clamming aint what it used to be, too many people moved into the Pacific Northwest, that's why I snowbird to Florida.
Caution: Clean clams before cooking! Or the flavor of guts and digestive tract will taint the clams. See, once cooked you put into chowder, that is cooked again and may get rubbery chewing. Not laughing at you. You're still learning, hehehe. Trick to learn who the immigrants are. Tell the group, "Cmon, let's go eat a bag of DICK'S". lmao
    Be well
    .

Hi! 😀Great video! We used to go clamming often further north of seattle , when I was in high school back in the day. I think it was anacortes maybe. What month of the year did you go clamming? Have to do that with my sons someday ! Liked and subscribed to you!

just stomp or hit with the clam gun next to where you think the clam is and it will create a divot if it's a clam. saves a lot of time and back pain
