Wooo they can go grow really big too. Rainy day uh-oh the tide is coming in? Those are good a little tough but it has the best taste ever. They’re deep too. We get them here once in a while just too much work digging them hehe. Those cockles are really good super tasty. Have fun guys.
The tide is not low enough for geoduck, i clamed at that beach in the past when the geoduck was abundant but now it's been geoduck clamed out. this is Shine in Jefferson county. You folks did well to get those other clams
Clams are so tasty! And versatile. I find them _far_ better, more sweeter yet 'balanced' tasting than the other popular molluscs - Scallops, mussels, oysters & squids. Wonderful cooking! 💫
If you soak your clams in ice water over night and the clam will purge the sand in them. You can soak for two days in fresh ice water to purge more sand. No crunchy sand. 🥳👍
@@KayeandRemo I live in Washington. I live near the water and Sandy beaches I see people claiming all in season in the NW Puget sound. I have a beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean.
I love this video because i remember lagi kami nanghuhuli noon ni kaye ng ganyan hehe anyway i love your content guys para narin akong nakapasyal dyan more keep uplaoding and thanks for sharing video
Awesome video! I was in Washington State for a little while but unfortunately didn't get the chance to forage for some clams & mussels. I plan to come back & do it for sure. Absolutely love it up there.
It looks so fun. We’re planning to visit our son who recently moved to Seattle. Where would you suggest to go for beginners. We know geoducks are too much for us to try digging. But cockles might be our speed.
Sorry for the late late response. We highly recommend going to WDFW's website for clamming locations and tips. If you're going to Seattle, there are certainly spots around the area and you don't have to go far!
Hi can you tell me where is the location name and address please . I want to take my kids there for first time ! and what month is that please ? Thank you very much
Due to the rest of the community here on YT, we recommend checking WDFW's website for clamming locations. Just put in your general area. You might find one not too far away from you.

Thank you so much for the kinds words! We like them too as they are much easier to harvest. No special tools necessary to find them!

It's Shine Tidelands.
Very nice catch! What location was that?
Thank you! This was at Shine Tidelands.
What’s the name of this place
This was at Shine Tidelands on the Western side of Washington.
I LOVE THE BEACH TO 🙏🏽♥️💋
I wanna try this. Where in Western WA were you?
It is definitely a fun activity to do plus you get something on the way home. This was at Kitsap Peninsula.
What’s the point of the bucket?
It keeps the dirt from coming back in to the hole you dig.
❤❤❤❤😂😂
