I remember Doug E. Doug not only from that second Cosby show, which I liked, but also from a nice little sitcom he had on ABC that he co-created called We Live Here, about life in a black neighborhood that only lasted a season in 1993, and the film Hanging With The Homeboys. Forgot he was in Cool Runnings, too. He was always fun to watch, no matter what he was in---he seemed to be everywhere in the early-to-mid-'90s, and then like a number of black actors from that era, he just vanished onscreen. I've rarely seen him do interviews, so this is cool to see.

That white man narrative. Let's not act like racism wasn't active in the 80s . If a BLK can't even have full ownership of a sports team well why do you think the power to be would let a BLK man own NBC.
Who the hell you think your kidding.
That's just like they send him to prison for drugging some groupie.
My question to you is was Cosby the only one in the 80s to have qualude pills. 70s 80s 90s are favourite rock roll artist actors/actress . Play boy mansion all the parties. Cosby was the only one through all the party time having his hands on pills. Really really really really, you could miss me with what he said to to NBC or the power to be. The whole story in America for a BLK man is you could act for us but you can't own anything. It's like that from back in the 80 s to present.

I never doubted that he was attempting to buy the network. I do believe that like many men in the entertainment industry, he was predatory towards young attractive people. He created great art but he also did terrible things. I still watch his shows but I am not a cult member willing to believe a man who has so many different women telling essentially the sane story. The pattern of abuse over several years - it’s hard not to acknowledge that

Fantastic interview! Doug's response as the interviewer continued to circle around Bill Cosby
