Just saw this! It’s absolutely gorgeous! My husband and I had a 16x80 mobile home on 2.5 acres of country land. We did a lot of renovating and had plans to do more. He passed away in April, 2023. My granddaughter plans to move in because she says her best memories are there. I’m thrilled! I bought a fixer upper house in Jackson, MS so I could be closer to my sons and this old house is coming along. Thank you for sharing!

We see our same home, now tripled of what we paid! Ours was used too, but in beautiful shape.We farm, so we added on an office, a laundry room plus shower and then the mud room. We love and perfect for us being in our 60's. I'll follow you along now. I really love your decorating too!

I have a 2016 manufactured home and I would LOVE to do a few mild upgrades as obviously I do have a newer home but I wish I had friends like this lol I want to atleast paint and re-do my cabinets! You definitely inspire me!❤

My husband and i purchased a Palm Harbour mobile home in 1995. It was beautiful. It was the same footage as yours. It was perfect for 2 people and plenty of room for grandkids and our children to visit. We moved 12 years ago into the home my father in law built in the 70's. He had passed away and we moved in to help his mother. It is a beautiful brick home with 2200 sq ft. I still miss my mobile home. You have a beautiful home and I know ya'll will be very happy.

I'm totally new to this! My first video I posted only to share with my sister-in-law who lives in another town who kept asking me for photos or a video to see what we had been doing. I remembered she wasn't on social media and It wouldn't send in a text. So I posted it on TH-cam to send to her and totally forgot about it. I went to take it down 2 weeks later and people were watching it and commenting. So my family encouraged me to actually do a real video and start a channel. This video was actually my 1st real video and my first time to ever edit a video. It's a challenging endeavor to say the least but I'm learning. I really like your laundry room and how big the guest bath is. We bought a used double wide as well but ours is a 2001 model and is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom and our laundry room and guest bathroom are really small. We have lived in ours for 2 years now and have done a lot of work to it and thought we were all done with it and then we decided to change a few things so we are still working on it and still have a lot of stuff to do outside as well.
People don't realize how much work goes into moving one! I'd love to see some before and after pics of the work you do on yours. Good luck on fixing yours up and thank you for the sweet comment. 😊

I have vinyl plank in mine too. It’s throughout except the kitchen. I wanted the same floors in the kitchen but since we didn’t do it all at once. Then there was a water heater leak that forced the matter. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find the same floor so we ended up putting in a patterned tile. It’s pretty, it ended up in my master bath too, since, since the leak affected that area too. There’s a lot more I’d love to do, but finances won’t allow for at this time. It’s still pretty. It’s a 2008 and about 1400 sq feet.
Hi Rene, your home look very nice. If you like French doors I think your patio glass door should be change for one and if you make this manufacture home permanent foundation your home can be come a real state property because they will cancel your title, well you can look into that if you are interested because you put a lot money in this forever home 🏡

Your home is gorgeous! My husband and I are around the same age, s as ms we don’t won’t a mortgage anymore! We have been wanting to move to the coast but home prices are through the roof! So we are thinking of doing the same thing, I struggle with the unfair stigma of noble homes.
Trust me I felt the same way about the stigma and thought I would NEVER live in one. We have built 2 gorgeous stick houses in the past and remodeled one home. Our last home we lived in for over 9 yrs was a beautiful Craftsman style new home in the historic district of the downtown area in Brandon MS. It's been a challenge getting things the way we want them but overall we are really happy with our home! Thank you for the sweet comment! ❤️ 😊

I updated with a newer dishwasher just because the one we had when we move in was a basic model and didn't clean at all. But I found a used Whirlpool Gold for sale and love it! I did replace the fridge bc we needed more refrigerator space than the black one provided. And I've had this same Whirlpool Gold refrigerator in several houses. But I couldn't agree more about the old appliances! Not giving up my 22 yr old washer and dryer. Lol 😊❤
There is an on going financial concern. If the used mobile home was relocated (other than from dealer lot) it no longer qualifies for mortgages. This may not effect you, but in the future it hampers resale ability and resale value. You did an amazing job, enjoy!
We actually bought from an individual and financed our home thru our bank. And you are right...it's hard to get a mortgage on a used mobile home but we didn't want to finance anything long term. We actually did this like a car loan and financed for 7 yrs. Came out to be a little less than the mortgage payment on our last home.
I really liked the color contrast also. I struggled with replacing it bc I did like the look but it was just so small. I ended up purchasing the same Whirlpool Gold Refrigerator we had in our last 2 houses bc we just love it. Thanks for watching and for the sweet comment! 😊❤

Can you please tell me how you’re measuring the size of the home. I know you said it is 1900 square feet, but how long is it and how wide is it? Thanks for letting me know I want to buy one for property we own but need to know if it will fit!
It's 64 ft X 30 ft. We were looking at longer 4 bedrooms some over 80ft but realized something that long wouldn't work for us. This is on my daughter's property and ended up being the perfect size.
Bought a 30 year old mobile home on 5 acres. Making improvements and love it. Did you re-enforce the frame of your mobile home? The frames are not built to have a lot of weight on the edge or outer walls, drywall and wood is very heavy. With that said.....BEAUTIFUL.
The previous owner had it custom built and it is rated for a wind zone 2. It actually has 2x 6's in the outer walls, 2 x 4's in the interior, and the floor joist are 2 x 8's. Absolutely beautiful home..Manufactured homes have really improved..but I noticed that there is no foundation or skirting. I don't know why some people will spend way over $100,000 and even about $200.000 for a home like this and don't put it on a solid foundation so that it's classified as real estate and gains value and your momey.is safe.. If it's only skirting it's drops in value everyday..Bit overall a very beautiful home and your talented..
Prices where I live are still going up even without a foundation or basement and keep in mind not everyone can afford a foundation it's about owning something that's yours that you can be proud of. ❤

The floors are CoreLock the Castle Collection and the color is Berkeley. You don't glue them down they lock together. We LOVE the floors! We did these floors in one room in our last home. So we knew we liked them! They were the closest thing I could find to match our real hardwood in the rest of our home. I haven't done a video in a while. I had an injury to my spine back in the summer and it's taken a while to get to the right Dr and I'm finally in Physical Therapy and getting some relief. I've had to put home projects on hold for now. I'm hoping to get back to doing some projects soon!

Yes it's a double wide with sheetrock walls. We moved it over 100 miles and then the process of leveling it from underneath can cause even more cracks. Thank you for the watching and for the comment. I only have a few pics. I had NO INTENTION on starting a TH-cam channel. I have a sister- in- law that kept asking me to send her a video of our house. So about a week after we moved in I filmed just the den, kitchen and guest bathroom to show her but she doesn't have messenger and I couldn't send her the video. I put it on TH-cam just to be able to share it with her and I totally forgot about it till a few weeks later. Then realized people were watching it and commenting.😳 My family have really pushed me to continue filming our future progress has we go. I did eventually add some hashtags and create a name for the channel but this is ALL new to me! During the actual work we lived next door with my daughter and we were just trying to get the work done and get moved it.

I'm totally new to this! My first video I posted only to share with my sister-in-law who lives in another town who kept asking me for photos or a video to see what we had been doing. I remembered she wasn't on social media and It wouldn't send in a text. So I posted it on TH-cam to send to her and totally forgot about it. I went to take it down 2 weeks later and people were watching it and commenting. So my family encouraged me to actually do a real video and start a channel. This video was actually my 1st real video and my first time to ever edit a video. It's a challenging endeavor to say the least but I'm learning. I really like your laundry room and how big the guest bath is. We bought a used double wide as well but ours is a 2001 model and is a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom and our laundry room and guest bathroom are really small. We have lived in ours for 2 years now and have done a lot of work to it and thought we were all done with it and then we decided to change a few things so we are still working on it and still have a lot of stuff to do outside as well.
People don't realize how much work goes into moving one! I'd love to see some before and after pics of the work you do on yours. Good luck on fixing yours up and thank you for the sweet comment. 😊

I have vinyl plank in mine too. It’s throughout except the kitchen. I wanted the same floors in the kitchen but since we didn’t do it all at once. Then there was a water heater leak that forced the matter. We looked everywhere but couldn’t find the same floor so we ended up putting in a patterned tile. It’s pretty, it ended up in my master bath too, since, since the leak affected that area too. There’s a lot more I’d love to do, but finances won’t allow for at this time. It’s still pretty. It’s a 2008 and about 1400 sq feet.

Your home is gorgeous! My husband and I are around the same age, s as ms we don’t won’t a mortgage anymore! We have been wanting to move to the coast but home prices are through the roof! So we are thinking of doing the same thing, I struggle with the unfair stigma of noble homes.
Trust me I felt the same way about the stigma and thought I would NEVER live in one. We have built 2 gorgeous stick houses in the past and remodeled one home. Our last home we lived in for over 9 yrs was a beautiful Craftsman style new home in the historic district of the downtown area in Brandon MS. It's been a challenge getting things the way we want them but overall we are really happy with our home! Thank you for the sweet comment! ❤️ 😊

I updated with a newer dishwasher just because the one we had when we move in was a basic model and didn't clean at all. But I found a used Whirlpool Gold for sale and love it! I did replace the fridge bc we needed more refrigerator space than the black one provided. And I've had this same Whirlpool Gold refrigerator in several houses. But I couldn't agree more about the old appliances! Not giving up my 22 yr old washer and dryer. Lol 😊❤
There is an on going financial concern. If the used mobile home was relocated (other than from dealer lot) it no longer qualifies for mortgages. This may not effect you, but in the future it hampers resale ability and resale value. You did an amazing job, enjoy!
We actually bought from an individual and financed our home thru our bank. And you are right...it's hard to get a mortgage on a used mobile home but we didn't want to finance anything long term. We actually did this like a car loan and financed for 7 yrs. Came out to be a little less than the mortgage payment on our last home.

It's 64 ft X 30 ft. We were looking at longer 4 bedrooms some over 80ft but realized something that long wouldn't work for us. This is on my daughter's property and ended up being the perfect size.
Bought a 30 year old mobile home on 5 acres. Making improvements and love it. Did you re-enforce the frame of your mobile home? The frames are not built to have a lot of weight on the edge or outer walls, drywall and wood is very heavy. With that said.....BEAUTIFUL.
The previous owner had it custom built and it is rated for a wind zone 2. It actually has 2x 6's in the outer walls, 2 x 4's in the interior, and the floor joist are 2 x 8's. Absolutely beautiful home..Manufactured homes have really improved..but I noticed that there is no foundation or skirting. I don't know why some people will spend way over $100,000 and even about $200.000 for a home like this and don't put it on a solid foundation so that it's classified as real estate and gains value and your momey.is safe.. If it's only skirting it's drops in value everyday..Bit overall a very beautiful home and your talented..
Prices where I live are still going up even without a foundation or basement and keep in mind not everyone can afford a foundation it's about owning something that's yours that you can be proud of. ❤

The floors are CoreLock the Castle Collection and the color is Berkeley. You don't glue them down they lock together. We LOVE the floors! We did these floors in one room in our last home. So we knew we liked them! They were the closest thing I could find to match our real hardwood in the rest of our home. I haven't done a video in a while. I had an injury to my spine back in the summer and it's taken a while to get to the right Dr and I'm finally in Physical Therapy and getting some relief. I've had to put home projects on hold for now. I'm hoping to get back to doing some projects soon!

Yes it's a double wide with sheetrock walls. We moved it over 100 miles and then the process of leveling it from underneath can cause even more cracks. Thank you for the watching and for the comment. I only have a few pics. I had NO INTENTION on starting a TH-cam channel. I have a sister- in- law that kept asking me to send her a video of our house. So about a week after we moved in I filmed just the den, kitchen and guest bathroom to show her but she doesn't have messenger and I couldn't send her the video. I put it on TH-cam just to be able to share it with her and I totally forgot about it till a few weeks later. Then realized people were watching it and commenting.😳 My family have really pushed me to continue filming our future progress has we go. I did eventually add some hashtags and create a name for the channel but this is ALL new to me! During the actual work we lived next door with my daughter and we were just trying to get the work done and get moved it.
