I will say it was although a painful but only price Rajput Kings paid to save their kingdoms from being taken over by Mughals, I can give you example today all the pilgrimage sights in UP and MP have had destructions but in Rajasthan and Gujarat so many ancient temples survive because the Rajputs made sure they controlled their territories to avoid conversions and destruction, before the last Marathas and Sikhs came to be Rajputs were saving Hindus for 400 years so I think the biggest credit should be given to them

Just a correction ma'am, there were so many examples of Rajput husbands and their Mughal wives, infact Baapa Rawal had more than 30 Muslim wives many of them were Mughals.. Also the Rajputs who didn't marry to muslim women even after winning battles were of the view that they cannot destroy the purity of Rajput blood which projects valour, bravery and honesty, that was the reason which was explicitly mentioned in Rajput texts anyone can read... Hindu Mansabdars constituted a maximum of 31 percent of Mansabdars of Zat rank 1000 & above in the second half of the reign of Aurangzeb. Akbar's own daughter fell in love with Hindu Tansen & she was willing to convert to Hinduism, but Akbar demanded Tansen convert to Islam, thus Tansen converted to Islam in a formal ceremony & married the princess. Tansen was four decades older to Akber, Akber had no daughter till he turned 30 years old. by these facts, it can be easily understood that marriage between Akbar's daughter and Tansen is apsolute false. neither abul fazal, acourt historian of Akbar or badaoni, a staunch critic of akbar's polocies have mentioned this. if you have any other reference to substanciate your clames, you can tell. as I have mentioned, the age difference of Akbar and Tansen more than 4 decades and Akbar did not have daughters till he became 30. there is no chance a 15 or 17 year old girl would fell in love with an 85 or 87 year old man. Abul fazal clearly mentioned that tansen died in 1589 and his final right were conducted according to Hindu customs. it is clear from this that tansen has never converted to Islam nor he married to Akbar's daughter.

The name of emperor Shah Jahan's mother was Jagat Gosain... And she was called jodha bai as a nickname in her home kingdom but her actual name was jagat gosain and the Rajput wife of akbar that is shown as jodha ..her real name was not jodha it was something else ..there are 2-3 different name suggestions from history but after marriage and the birth of Jahangir (prince salim) she was given the title of mariyam-uz-zamani.. by akbar and everyone called her by this title... therefore even in historical accounts of jahangirnama.. he mentioned his mother's name as Mariyam uz zamani. Other than that rest information like she was indeed the daughter of king bharmal of Amber, sister of Bhagwant das . Raja Mansingh and man bai(jahangir's first Rajput wife) were his mother's nephew and niece respectively and jagat Gosain, another Rajput wife of jahangir and mother of shah jahan was the primcess of Jodhpur most probably
Jagat gosain was the title given to her by her husband Jahangir. her original name was unknown. infact, from the time of akbar, there is no tradition of addressing the women of the royal family with their own names. Akbar had issued a farman banning this such practice. instead the women of the royal family were addressed by the titles given to them or by the places from which they have come from. mariyam uz zamani, the mother of Jahangir, was often addressed by the court and contemporary croniclers as the daughter of Barmal, the sister of Raja Bagavanth das or the aunt of Raja maansingh. she herself had not used her original name in any of her farmans. she had the exclusive right of issuing farmans during akbar's time. she used the epithet "wally nimi Mariyam uz zamani begam saheba".

Akbar had 3 Rajput wives, jehangir had 1. 4 in total. Raja Dharm Chand married daughter of Babur. Kunwar Maan Singh married Bibi Mubarak, Akbar's niece. Raja Afzon married daughter of Murad Baksh (descendant of Akbar). So this makes it equal.

When he was 10, he was taken away from his mother by Akbar and given to Ruqaiyya for some reason. Bairam Khan’s first wife was also a Rajput woman. Rahim Khan e khana (Rahim ke dohe we had in school on lord Krishna) was their son who was raised by Salima (bairams second wife and Akbar’s 1st cousin who he married after bairam khan’s death) and Akbar. Generally in shows and movies it’s shown that Mariam zamani was a Krishna bhakt and had influenced Rahim cuz he was a devotee of Lord Krishna.Rahim used to be a warrior in Akbar’s army but once Maharana pratap‘s son took some Mughal women captive, and when Maharana found out about it, he was furious & and the women were released. Rahim was like I won’t fight against such a righteous ruler and took the role of a teacher for the Mughal princes. His daughter was married to Jehangir’s son Khusrao who was later blinded by his father for rebellion against him. Shah Jahan (Khurram) is said to have killed him along with his wife by setting fire to their house. - also Akbar literally stopped marrying the women in his family because they all ended up unhappy with the men becoming power hungry and abusive.

mariam ul zamani was a persian girl under the service of Bharmal's wife, in jaipur's records, it is mentioned that akbar wanted to marry Amer's princess, but bharmal's pride did not allow him to agree, to which some of his ministers suggested that the persian girl should be married off to akbar (the tyrant) and it was done.
this theory was there before. but was proven wrong. firstly, it was not Akbar who proposed the marriage. secondly, we do have enough historical evidence to support that barmal had given his own daughter to akbar, many contemporary accounts refered her as the daughter of Barmal. the biographical account of Rana Pratap also indicates this.
its not a theory as there are persian records and letters still held by jaipur royal family, also the akbar's equivalent court writers mentions only a hindu princess of amer but not that of then king's daughter, the folk rajasthani writers also have written that some of the opposing states of Rajputana were and angry with amer but when they came to know of the persian girl they were OK with the marriage (FYI) people also belive akbar to be humayun's son, but her mother was in refuge at Amarkot for constantly 2 years after humayun fled from his defeat, he left his wife at umarkot and did not return for 2 years, at that time his wife was not expecting a child and later when 1.5 years later, akbar was born in 1542. Just a correction ma'am, there were so many examples of Rajput husbands and their Mughal wives, infact Baapa Rawal had more than 30 Muslim wives many of them were Mughals..
Also the Rajputs who didn't marry to muslim women even after winning battles were of the view that they cannot destroy the purity of Rajput blood which projects valour, bravery and honesty, that was the reason which was explicitly mentioned in Rajput texts anyone can read...

She was not a princess. When Abkar's own daughter fell in love with Tansen, a Hindu, Akbar demanded he convert to Islam to marry her. Thus Tansen was forcibly converted to Islam.

Mansabdari system was how the Mughals organized their bureaucracy with a personal(Zat) & military(Sawar) rank given to the Mansabdars. Hindu Mansabdars constituted a maximum of 31 percent of Mansabdars of Zat rank 1000 & above in the second half of the reign of Aurangzeb. Rajputs also got the benefit of having more jagirs than they usually would in their home.

The name of emperor Shah Jahan's mother was Jagat Gosain... And she was called jodha bai as a nickname in her home kingdom but her actual name was jagat gosain and the Rajput wife of akbar that is shown as jodha ..her real name was not jodha it was something else ..there are 2-3 different name suggestions from history but after marriage and the birth of Jahangir (prince salim) she was given the title of mariyam-uz-zamani.. by akbar and everyone called her by this title... therefore even in historical accounts of jahangirnama.. he mentioned his mother's name as Mariyam uz zamani. Other than that rest information like she was indeed the daughter of king bharmal of Amber, sister of Bhagwant das . Raja Mansingh and man bai(jahangir's first Rajput wife) were his mother's nephew and niece respectively and jagat Gosain, another Rajput wife of jahangir and mother of shah jahan was the primcess of Jodhpur most probably

Akbar had issued a farman banning this such practice. instead the women of the royal family were addressed by the titles given to them or by the places from which they have come from. mariyam uz zamani, the mother of Jahangir, was often addressed by the court and contemporary croniclers as the daughter of Barmal, the sister of Raja Bagavanth das or the aunt of Raja maansingh. she herself had not used her original name in any of her farmans. she had the exclusive right of issuing farmans during akbar's time. she used the epithet "wally nimi Mariyam uz zamani begam saheba".

Shah Jahan had a Hindu mother but he was raised by ruqaiyya sultan, Akbar’s first cousin and first wife. When he was 10, he was taken away from his mother by Akbar and given to Ruqaiyya for some reason. Bairam Khan’s first wife was also a Rajput woman. Rahim Khan e khana (Rahim ke dohe we had in school on lord Krishna) was their son who was raised by Salima (bairams second wife and Akbar’s 1st cousin who he married after bairam khan’s death) and Akbar. Generally in shows and movies it’s shown that Mariam zamani was a Krishna bhakt and had influenced Rahim cuz he was a devotee of Lord Krishna.Rahim used to be a warrior in Akbar’s army but once Maharana pratap‘s son took some Mughal women captive, and when Maharana found out about it, he was furious & and the women were released. Rahim was like I won’t fight against such a righteous ruler and took the role of a teacher for the Mughal princes. His daughter was married to Jehangir’s son Khusrao who was later blinded by his father for rebellion against him. Shah Jahan (Khurram) is said to have killed him along with his wife by setting fire to their house.

mariam ul zamani was a persian girl under the service of Bharmal's wife, in jaipur's records, it is mentioned that akbar wanted to marry Amer's princess, but bharmal's pride did not allow him to agree, to which some of his ministers suggested that the persian girl should be married off to akbar (the tyrant) and it was done.
this theory was there before. but was proven wrong. firstly, it was not Akbar who proposed the marriage. secondly, we do have enough historical evidence to support that barmal had given his own daughter to akbar, many contemporary accounts refered her as the daughter of Barmal. the biographical account of Rana Pratap also indicates this.
its not a theory as there are persian records and letters still held by jaipur royal family, also the akbar's equivalent court writers mentions only a hindu princess of amer but not that of then king's daughter, the folk rajasthani writers also have written that some of the opposing states of Rajputana were and angry with amer but when they came to know of the persian girl they were OK with the marriage (FYI) people also belive akbar to be humayun's son, but her mother was in refuge at Amarkot for constantly 2 years after humayun fled from his defeat, he left his wife at umarkot and did not return for 2 years, at that time his wife was not expecting a child and later when 1.5 years later, akbar was born in 1542. lastly, ofcourse people do research on these subjects but there are so many things still to be discovered, as all these are written by later historians and mostly based on the work done by people like james todd and followed by indian modern historians, spreading the misunderstanding even more, the present royal family of amer is still in Jaipur and have records on the same subject from which as a reference a recent book "maharanas" also mentions that it was a persian girl and not a princess and daughter of Amer. @@chandrareddy4392

dear madam, no pertian contemporary sources mention the name of jodha. it was only in the nineteenth century, colonel james taught used the name jodha for akbar's first hindu vife assuming that she was the princes of jodpore. the geeniologies of the ambar dainasty mentioned akbar's first hindu vife as harka bhai, harka champavathi ETC.
the way she presented her information didn't looked like she actually tried to appease muslims just stating facts. A correction- muslim daughters also married rajput kings and hindu kings but most of the records are personal or destroyed over time just like mughals destroyed our temples

But if they were not married as per Islamic traditions, why they have been given Islamic names since as per Islamic traditions you can't marry a non Muslim and they are first converted in Islam and given a Muslim name upon marriage
