Ugh!! I just replaced that line a few weeks ago I wish this vid had been out. I ended up draining the coolant, and it took me a while to realize that that bracket had to come out. I also had a bracket near the compressor I had to loosen up to make that line fit. Thanks for the video though and definitely replace that plastic line driver. 👍🏽
Did mine today. That bottom end at the compressor was a real peach! There's that bracket that's smack in the way. Mine is a 17 cascadia. Otherwise I was impressed with the redesigned tube, perfect fit
DDE/a4722004251. $85.99. This was for my 2016. Btw… the compressor side is easiest to access from behind the tire looking just over the top of the frame rail.

And make sure you release the pressure from the radiator cap before you disconnect the hose.

Hey Ryan, I've got a eaton fuller auto 10 speed transmission on an a 2017 t680. Do those transmissions not have a filter for the fluid?
Thanks fir the tremendous help
So im finding on these older short nosed cabs w/ dd13s , that theres VERY little space to maneuver the hose through.
How did you do it with the short nosed?
Well as I got a replace my coolant tank because it starting to deteriorate.
I think i'm going to do this as well
Great video thanks lots of good information
Thank you
Great tips and thanks Ryan
Thks Ryan makes sense .
Why does the engine of heavy trucks (Cascadia) periodically puff or knock? What is the problem? Or where to start looking for it?
How you drain coolant sir without draining 13 gallons?
It would be nice to replace hoses with high-quality ones.
Awesome,..Thank you…..
Do you happen to know that part number for the metal hose? Thanks

I have that reddish pink stuff coming out of my air tank. And all valves and airlines look rusted.
Driving a 2020 Crapscadia with this engine..that stupid plastic tube has a pinhole in it....leave it to Mercedes to design something so stupid..
