Not actively, however that might chance soon as I was recently beaten in Sonny 1 any% glitchless and I intend to get WR back. So you might probably expect a run in that category :p

Ah Sonny 2.... One of the best flash RPGs, and just regular RPGs ever made. A game that has been seemingly forgotten about over the passage of time, but was a juggernaut in its own era. This game deserves to be remembered, and desperately needs the proper sequel it deserves

ok, now that I am kinda getting back into sonny (and with that, I am surrently procrastinating to try and beat my Sonny 1 any% glitchless PB ^^') ... When it comes to Sonny 2 heroic .. this is definitely something I would like to do (I did some theorycrafting for all stages at some point which requires you to do legend in order to unlock zone 7) but actually speedrunning legend is ... not a pleasant experience, to say the least. But maybe, just maybe ... I will find the time, motivation and willingness to suffer and will actually try and put together a route. I wouldn't count on that though :p
The Baron usually uses deep burns to recover focus at the cost of health. When below 50%, he'll prefer to use electric storm instead, which recovers less focus for him, but also doesn't damage him. However, if you drain him back down on the very next round, it'll force deep burns to happen. He also starts gaining holy scars when low, which gives him regen but also massively increases the damage he takes. Already strong deep burns damage + holy scars = dead boss Though the aforementioned solo glitch can also cause him to use Tick Tock on himself, which WILL kill him in ten rounds.
sry for the late response. So for now it seems the bio is the fastest option on easy but hydro is definitely worth further investigation. I assumption that hydro would be faster for a theoretical TAS, because a TAS would get guaranteed hits/crits where it needs but it is really inconsistent when actually running it. Also, I've yet to come up with a baron strategy that works as they are WAY worse at destroying focus and also, I encountered another problem that causes the baron glitch to not work. My guess is that you actually need to be faster to glitch out his AI. I will definitely have another look at hydro when I pick up the game again, which might be very soon as my interest in speedrunning in general is coming back at the moment.
Hot hydro is tricky because its attacks miss a lot, spending points in speed helps but that lowers your damage potential. If only psycho can find a way to do Hydra fast enough..
@@dannyz955 I mean, psycho can instakill the two claws with shock skills and then setup the instakill on the main head. The problem is, that veradux can ruin this combo and I don't know how well sonny does when trying to solo the fight. Would definitely need testing.
I mean, that moment was kinda ridiculous. I didn't get a single miss with agile exposure until that point and then it misses like eleven thousand times in one fight, lol
I just had to watch this just for the nostalgia, the emulator that I’ve used sucks, I don’t know if there is a better one but regardless I still love this game.
One thing I did was to set Effects and Graphics to "Low". Besides that it's basically a system check. My laptop actually already has issues with this game when recording at the same time but luckily it only seems to cause some graphic lag but doesn't affect the actual inputs. So I don't know ... apparently, this game is surprisingly CPU/GPU hungry.

There used to be development for Sonny 3, unofficial but faithful to the original story, but it all kinda just slowed down and got abandoned. Would like to see it see the light of day again though
