Sam you have a terrific, breathtakingly beautiful and painfully sharp gift for honest introspection and truthful communication concerning your inward journey!
Well done in your refusal to shrink back from the blindingly brilliant clarity you are seeking for yourself and, in doing so, you are modeling and making a way for others to embrace the terror and courage to do the same.
    Again, well done!

It's always nice to listen to you talk Sam. Doubt this is the first time i'm saying that to you. :) I think , for what it's worth, it's cool that you talk about trauma recovery. LOTS of folks need that. Hope you've had a good New Year so far 💞 Lots of love!

I’ve said it before and will say it again. Love you!❤ I regularly tell friends about you and lead them to your channel. A beautiful soul. Our journeys are just that. A journey through time. It’s all about learning to love in a cacophony of hate. The whole thing takes place behind the eyes.

I typically listen to TH-cam / podcasts at 1.5x speed, allowing me to consume 50% more content. Once my brain got used to it normal speed sounds weird to me. But I have to use earbuds or it drives others crazy.

Cori is modest, practical and trained as a lawyer to approach the spoken word with rigor to stay grounded in what can be said with certainty, not shallow. Cori is a very deep thinker.

I would guess that Cori has not had the types of spiritual experiences that lead to the scope of depth that Sam is exploring in his life.

Your far from shallow. Just you realizing why you transitioned and during that internal searching to than get to that place to de transition is evidence of depth and strength. May the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob bless both you and precious Sam.

Certainly neither of you gentlemen are shallow and certainly both of you have a delightful sense of humor even in the roughness/toughness of the conversation.

I'm a psychologist. And I trained other psychologists. The one you shouldn't trust is a psychiatrist. Anyway I have a hell of a story from my childhood too. The only thing that made it a childhood was the fact that I was a child at the time. My father hurt me in a very special way right before I turn three. When I was four I was nearly mauled to death by a St Bernard. After recovering from that my mother had me surrounded by males who had the same proclivities as my father. She moved us in with a man that I didn't even know his name until after he demanded that we speak it. I have a seven at the time and he attempted something with my sister but my mother actually cared about her and told him that if he attempted anything again she would injure him somehow with a shotgun. I hate it that TH-cam is so sensorious that we can't speak openly in plainly even in the comments sections about adult issues. So he turned his attention to me of course and for 2 years I replaced my mother in that relationship. My grandfather when we visited him broke my nose because I was happy and dancing to the theme song of a TV show and he wasn't having it so with his bear fist he knocked me across the room and left me to bleed it out and sniffle silently. He threatened of course to hurt anyone who helped me so there I sat until everyone went to bed. My round age 11 and 12 my mother got a job at a bar and since no one wanted to babysit me but they were perfectly happy babysitting my sister My mother brought me along to fight off even more evil males who were then drunk. I'll never forget one man so drunk he could barely stand who before he managed to position himself lost his balance and fell on top of me folding me in half under his massive weight he then rolled off of me and vomited on the floor right next to my head before he passed out. That was one of the lucky moments. The list just goes on and on and on. I had a dog that my mother bought for herself who loved me more than her so I came home one day and she said it had been killed by a vehicle. I found out many years later she had lied to me and that she had given it away to someone but thought it would be better if I thought it was dead rather than me want to go see it from time to time. I found that dog when I was 21 years old go figure. We remembered each other and reconnected and then I brought it to my mother's attention that I knew she had been lying to me about yet another thing. My whole life has gone like that. I think I am uniquely qualified to help people that no one else can relate to including trans persons. I sent quite a number of them in my career down the conveyor belt thinking I was doing the right thing. I know better now and it didn't do anything to stop over 40% of those I tried so desperately to help from giving up. The condition of gender dysphoria is strongly akin to borderline personality disorder in all of its primary aspects and seems to be a stark deficiency in the process of othering. God bless you all. I really do pray that you can find a way to seal away all that trauma. Cognitive and dialectical behavior therapy work but only if you have the executive function and the impetus to put in even the tiniest modicum of work towards your own self-improvement. So many so very many do not to the point of anhedonia and an inability to even keep a simple journal of when they felt happy throughout a week. I truly hope recovery is a real possibility for you all.

@Call-Me-Sam not so great. I have pancreatitis I'm 54 years old and my life partner my wife of 21 years died at the age of 52 just two years ago. I haven't spoken with anyone in my biological family in 27 years. And I'm completely and totally alone with my cat retired from teaching because I'm also now terminally ill from a super rare genetic blood clot disorder called the factory five Leiden F5 genetic mutation I have two copies of it yay good old mom and good old dad. But at least I have a cat. One cat. And I pour everything into poetry art music and put it on a little page called OOSAAH

@Call-Me-Sam although I will say that I have recently had the opportunity about for the last one year as a part of bereavement been providing CBT and DBT modalities to five or six people through discord and their lives have improved greatly so I am personally very grateful that that is something good that's happening in my life right now.

Something one of the Hebrew Prophets mentioned reminds me of the Trans Community and the difficulties confronted. In Jeremiah 31:22 it states, "... the LORD hath created a new thing in the earth a woman shall compass a man." This new creation would be different from the previous natural order. Something to consider when dealing deeply with Truth.
