      Expulsion is arguably better as it could bring back banished targets too, but Sanctifire is a very close second.

    You made a mistake at 9:07 ,
    Mercourier only negates *monster* effects, not spells. Called By resolves just fine regardless.

    • @mirceadolineanu9715
      @mirceadolineanu9715 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      I have a tcg list with bystials that sets up synchro plays on the opponent's turn. The main idea is to get access to quem, then go into Albion with bystial lubellion and albaz, fuse into Lubellion with albaz and some extra dark moster, make mirrojade.
      The big brain play is that quem will summon cartesia from gy during these fusions (if you don't already have it on field), the bystial lumellion will tribute albion and activate regained, and cartesia will fuse into grandguignol to dump some lvl 6 bystial from deck. During the end phase, Albion will set Etude of the Branded.
      On your opponent's turn, when they summon something you can summon the lvl 6 bystial from gy with regained and use mirrorjade so that quem gets back cartesia and regained draws 1. From here you can use cartesia's eff to make a dragostapelia/quaeritis, and etude to synchro into Bystial Dis Pater.
      So, after you banish and draw 1, you still have 2 negates (dragostapelia + dis pater) and etude's floodgate eff (opponent banishes monsters used as materials for summons)
      If you somehow had an albaz in grave, then the sent via mirrorjade could be rindbrumm so you also threaten a second mirrorjade.

      Just use one of the replacements I suggested, when you still want to win using a lock. Archlord Krystya seems to be the best one. You could also just play normal Branded, that should still be strong enough in most situations. You will need some more practice to make it work though.

    This is kinda redundant but since jowgen and other light spellcaster can be send through branded fusion, wouldn't running a small verte package be benificial for literally every deck? If so than damn sanctifire kinda crazy

      You should run Fairy Tail Snow with this card. It meets one of albion's fusion requirements and Albion allows you to bring it back one time for free on your opponent's turn.

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@stevenceja4706 Think why most people aren´t opting into this is that in comparison to these floodgates, it gives too little for a rather steep cost.
      Going first, you get to reborn it during the opponent's turn with the White Albion for a Book of Moon once, and then likely go for a second flip with her banish effect, which cost a hefty 7 cards which could be a hit or a miss with this deck. Also, we still need to get it in the grave for the 2nd time to activate. A lot of "if's and but's" to replace a floodgate.
      I do like your creativity!

    So the new dragon is like the banned trap card?

    • @Urbs-In-Horto
      @Urbs-In-Horto 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      It's like expulsion++. Summons the puppet on the opponents field, while also giving you another card on your side of the field. You could bring out another fusion if you summon albaz, or if you bring out quem or cartesia while you have etude out, you could syncro summon something like Chaos Angel, Baronne, or Dis Pater. It gives the user a ton of card advantage. And this is all with the added benefit of already having a 3000/2500 monster on your side of the field that will beat over pretty much any other normal summon.

    • @skysaber23
      @skysaber23 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    • @Dexrazor
      @Dexrazor 9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      @@skysaber23 it’s not unaffected, just untargetable and unable to be used as fusion material. It cannot summon banished monsters like Expulsion could, allowing it to be disrupted, and only works during the opponent’s turn.
      The part that is clearly better about this card is that you don’t have to tribute a fusion like you did for expulsion.

    • @cognitivegrub0
      @cognitivegrub0  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      As already pointed out, Sanctifire can only reborn from the graveyard, whilst Expulsion go summon banished monsters too. Being able to summon from the banish pile is a great plus as you could have send the Puppet to the banish pile as a form of protection. Now it HAS to be in the grave, but when it is in the grave, Sanctifire is arguably better.
