    Hi sir . When I use a multimeter I can find 318V DC in Primary side ( HOT side) of the Chopper but I can't find voltage in the secondary side, It's less than 1V . What might be the Problem?
    Thank you

    It would have been perfect if you have compared the relationship between inductive reactance, frequency, current, size of transformer. Overall very interesting explanation

      @HaseebElectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      best regards
      basically there are too many parameters in magnetic design
      such as voltage, frequency, duty cycle, inductance, turns, bmax etc
      but in any transformer, the BH curve is very very important, which base on magnetizing current and the inductor turns it is expressed as Ampere - Turns.
      if we follow this curve, then frequency, voltage, duty time, inductance, permeability, bmax are involved in magnetizing current (H)
      transformer size is also covered n the same BH curve

    Hi Sir. Thank you for posting youtube videos. Learned a lot from your channel. You explained it so clearly and also the concept of electronics. Hoping you could clarify something for me. I have a SMPS for my AV Receiver. There was a hissing sound (like changing frequency sound ) coming out of the speaker. So I replaced the capacitor. The hiss still remained despite changing the capacitor. I suspected that the chopper transformer has been affected by the capacitor drying up. Is it possible for the chopper transformer to get damaged and cause the hissing sound. Because I removed the chopper transformer and then retaped it and it seems to have solved the problem. But I am not sure what the long term solution is to this. Thank you.

    There is no relation between voltage and frequency in a transformer ?

    • @HaseebElectronics
      @HaseebElectronics  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      in transformer
      there is relation of magnetizing current and magnetizing force (in BH curve, The magnetizing force (H) is equal to the product of magnetizing current and the
      number of turns, and is expressed as Ampere - Turns. )
      so current depends on voltage, frequency, inductance and duty cycle
      if voltage will increase, the current increases
      if frequency increases, the current decreases
      if inductance increases, current decreases
      if duty cycle increases the current increases
      there are too many parameters involved in magnetic design
      but the basic elements to considered are current and inductance
