And you don't know the difference between power factor and cos phi ??
In the 70's pf was equal to cos phi

@almendronman, shut the f up. While MAD Prof channel is doing an amazing job of visualising these concepts.
These were all developed and used by millions of ppl for more than a century. Humans are curios, have the capability to read books think and visualise it mentally and build systems. Don’t blame the education system if you are too fucking lazy to put the effort to read books and assimilate it.
These are taught to every physics major / electrical / electronics engineer and there are amazing books.
Read Basic Electronics by B Grob, Lectures in physics by RP Feynman or Electronics Devices by Boylsted and Neshlsky.

This is the best explaination I have ever seen. Did spot a minor typo error in the formula to calculate the "Reactive Power (Inductive)" at 19:08 in the video. QL=I2XL. When you plugged in the values, you are showing 1.410 volts squared. This should be 1.410 amps squared since the formula is squaring the current and then multiplying by the impedence of 60.319 ohms.

The nature of a coil is, that it will resist change in the electromagnetic field. So when the field change by decresing voltage, the coil tries to maintain the field by increase the field. This is the reverse power and You can actually see this effect by the spark generated when You disconnect a coil. Fx. a 12 volt appiled to a coil will produce a 1000V spark when disconnect, but with much less current ofc.

The educational systems all over the world have never been outdated in terms of content or teacher ability. The issue is that the classes contain average students and outliers that slow down the teaching or are slowed down by the teaching. The teaching outcome is to move the CLASS ahead in a way that accommodates every learner.

It's not correct to state that the released energy does not go through the load. It is simply released back into the circuit and will go where ever the circuit configuration will channel it. That's important precisely, because the load will "feel" it.
