  • in this video {844} 48V Battery Charger Repair, i demonstrated how to repair LNYAQA LY88-001 T/TCDZ0001-2019 it is 48V12AH battery charger, it is not powering on. it is using UC3842 ic as smps controller. in secondary side it is using LY03 and LM38 IC as battery management system

      i used Uni-T 202A+ for frequency measurement, it have separate frequency and duty cycle function button, and its frequency reading is awesome
      i measured the reboot frequency around 20KHz,

    Very good video and easy to understand right to the point. you would make a great teacher and your multimeter is awesome. but I must say the most impressive part of the video was in the beginning when you opened the retaining clips with your fist somehow. I always fight with those to open and usually damage the case with a screwdriver doing so thank you and cheers from canada

    I have a similar charger. I opened it to modify the voltage using the tl431 divider circuit. I found the tl431 but could not find the voltage divider resistors. Never encountered such a design.

    Great video, what if we dont have any voltage to the secondary side, mosfet is good it has voltage, but voltage is not pasing to the secondary side, fuse is good, bridge req is good...

      initially vcc voltage are obtained from startup resistor and after startup it is from bias winding or auxiliary winding or vcc winding

      i replaced gate drive resistor (connected at grate pin and ic pin number 6)
      and a protection diode at gate of mosfet

    explanation is good sir by same method i repaired same charger it's turned on. output voltage ok but ampere decreased 3ah to 700 ma
    # opto coupler good
    # used various mosfets
    # changed upto 3qty 3842 ic also
    # TL431 also good ok
    # all capositors are 100% accurately tested with capositance meter
    is any differents in mosfets?
    please give some suggetions...sir

      please check its RCD snubber circuit
      check current sense resistor (connected at source pin of the mosfet)
      check output side LM358 or any operational amplifier IC for battery management

      current sence resister with 810 ohms is good
      and the outpu side BM lm358 icc section is designed by chip module with small components battery charging, full off led's sections also good this is the critical problem sir i never seen yet
      is any chance to fail DT transformer

    Is CHARGAR me 358 kahi kese kam karti he ye koi nahi video banaya he. Red or green led kese on or off hoti he or BETRY conect karne se kese charging led on hoti he or charging full hone se kese cut off hoti he ye koi nahi dikhata he . Uske bare me video banaye. Bahut sari video he lekin ap jesa koi nahi samja he. 358 ki video koi bhi nahi he TH-cam pe.

    When I plug my drill charger, light turns on but turns back off and it remain off. Charger doesn't work. Why does the light turns on and turns back off when I plug it in? Where could the problem be? Can this be fix?

      it means its smps converter section is good.
      it have problem in battery management system. so you need to check the output points and its related circuit. that it is interrupting the charging control circuit
