$9,300 per month for a 6 floor walk-up? Hard pass.
My legs couldn't handle that!!!
If I was visiting NYC I would likely say WOW to a couple of those views too. But I lived in the heart of Montreal for 30 years and when all you can see out the window is more buildings and rooftops - you pretty quickly begin to ignore it and there is very little about that type of view that will brighten you any sense of stress relief and calm. I now live in a much smaller town with a 10 by 10 deck off my kitchen above my ground floor patio and garden and I have breakfast out side among the tree tops whenever the weather permits. Blue skies, green grass and trees, flowering shrubs and gardens, birds chirping and squirrels dashing - thats a view.
Really enjoying the videos and the straightforward presentation of each space. NY real estate is very entertaining.
please slow down the camera movement
The last one deserved 5 on light, the second floor had that wow moment.
I like your unique style of showing these apartments while you describe them. Thank you!
My favorite broker everrr
Loved the last 2.
Thank you. 830. A month.
27000. 3500
BelAire.
Another great video ! I really enjoy the apartment tours.
Very informative, thank you!
Next to last building was my favorite
I was born and raised in Texas, still live here in Dallas. I hope one day to visit New York. I've never been.
I live 1 hour from NYC. It’s a fun place to visit. I like the museums and restaurants; the best ethnic food in the states, IMO.
Last apartment is just perfect , and I hoped you filmed the fourth bedroom and the second balcony❤
Cool video! I like your ratings system. It’s crazy how expensive nyc is for rent. I pay 1300 for a 350 sq studio in downtown Vancouver
Loved the 2nd to last one.
Did anyone else find it weird that two of the bathrooms were right beside each other in the last apartment?
That could be because it easier on the plumbing to locate them like that. Sometimes in houses that is done because it saves money to place them that way.
That last one is real nice.
these vids r so useful lol, planning to move to new york next year hopefully
If you're flexible on when you move Nov - March you'll find the best deals!
Can you do more of upper east Side? Your videos are so great and straight to point
I love visiting NYC, a trip I make (from Canada) at least once a year. How in God’s name do ordinary people afford to live in Manhattan??
It would be great if you could include the price while your showing the apartments in the bottom right corner or something!
Enjoying your apartment reviews but please keep the rating totals on the left. Running across the bottom the cut it the view of the apartment itself. Thank you
Working fireplace?! Wow
I thought the last one was a solid 5!
Talk to me more about my dream of living in NYC for 6 months just for the experience. I have lived abroad for 12 years, primarily in Middle Eastern countries so I’m naturally a change junkie.
Good for you. Some of us can only dream of this. At the very least, you should visit NYC. it is amazing, nothing like it!
In the smaller units where you have 1 or 2 people, I think that dishwashers are a waste of space that could be used for storage.
Naw everyone loves a dishwasher
@@joycegrossman9616 Dishwashers are time-consuming and unnecessary for smaller households.
The only decent-looking windows, are in the last unit. The windows in all of the other units are really ugly. The black frames, no muntins----they look like prison windows.
You need to include elevator or lack of in the amenities rating.
I love the apts but i really dont like the rating banner you have at the bottom. It is distracting and obscures the view of apt when I am tryng to focus on what the apts look like.
I've already changed the layout on my most recent videos because of this type of feedback, so hopefully you will enjoy those more!
Beautiful places, the last 2 prices/places 🤯 too rich for my blood.
6-floor walk-up for that price. Fab apartment but you won't have to go to the gym.
Just throwing your money away. Rent is out of control.
First one was a hotel room.
Rent Control laws are largely responsible for these ridiculous rents. Developers do not want to come in to a city with rent control laws, so there is a lack of supply of units in NYC. And there are buildings with seniors paying $500.00 per month, for these same units, so landlords have to jack up the rents on new tenants. Rent control should be illegal. It's a violation of property rights.
Rents are also crazy in cities that don't have rent control. Developers aren't in a hurry to increase stock. When they do build, it's strictly top end price point units.
lastb apartment is actually a 3 bedroom + loft/office not a 4 bedroom
The ceilings are so low-oppressive, I ‘m feeling a migraine coming on! 🤯 The bathroom fixtures are deplorable and fake plastic tiling on walls. Terrible places!😢.
Tiny kitchens
Yeah that last beauty & the most expensive with all those 5 ☆ ratings, plummeted to a very sad 1☆ when i heard 6th floor walk up,
No thanks, strictly for kids with rich parents 😢
I'm a bigger girl so a 6th floor walk up is a no from me too, but some people have no problems and live in those units for years!
These rents are ridiculously high. You have to be a crook in order to live in NYC
Definitely, the quality of life in NY sucks.
The 4 bedroom is the best deal for roommates at just $2,375 per person!
I busted my clam on the kitchen counter of number 3
