I love the idea of multiple family members living in the same building. The size of that apt. is tremendous and to think they have another one across the hall. Lucky ducks!

IT's a great idea if you like our family. Whoops, I wrote the first statement before I realized it was their guest apartment. Different story.
I'm not sure if Poland is the only country like that but it is very common in Poland. I grew up in Poland and in the building where I lived with my parents, my grandmother, father's sister, and two of my father's cousins lived in the same building.
Nothing wrong with living close to family especially when everyone gets along, loves & respects each other.
The thing I love about Homeworthy is you ALLOW the owner to tell their story. This one was especially entertaining. I also watch Quintessence and enjoy it, but Susanna tends to gush overmuch and doesn't go into enough depth. I prefer your format. Keep up the good work! I'm a devotee!

House is beyond stunning but I loved the comment about family, especially about being their for his Mother in her last year's.
Oh this is my favorite. I loved so many of his comments - his family living close by, a person who has a lot of chairs loves antiques (truth), his love of their pups, his affinity to decorating with European decor, and every decoration has a story, and I could go on and on. This is my kind of place. Thanks for sharing.
His comments on hospitality are spot on….being relaxed with your guests is key. As well as prior planning of details so that you are able to be focused on people, not things. Amazing home tour!

I have always adored Alex and the style with which he embraces the color purple! It would be a treat to see the apartment across the hall when the renovation is complete. His Hamptons house is also an incredible feast for the senses!

I was born, raised, and returned to a small town in the Midwest. It is a very nice place to live. But New York has always been this magical land of Oz to me in my imagination. Iam sure many people can relate. Alex P kind of encapsulates that. Only in New York, kids. It's such a blessing that Homeworthy shares these visits with all of us. Bless you!

I declare Scott Nelson as the most calm and sweet person, just loved him! I loved watching his(Scott's) expressions as much as I enjoyed seeing this beautiful home! I wish both of Scott and Alex many years of togetherness in this warm home! And YES Alex made me feel so nice about BEING SHOPOHOLIC and Scott's expression was the same as my husband has :)

Your home is the history of your life... how true I have enjoyed every moment of this video, I love every single space and the colours are so rich and inspirational, I know it was going to be a good one. When this started I thought it was overwhelming and too much .. but by the end I was like Scott .. a total convert. Such a fascinating, magical home. And you just know that they’d host great dinner parties. Cooper is adorable.
