I miss LG phones, they were the best. I had the G3, G4, G6 and G8. Only stopped using the G8 a few months back due to the battery dying on me. Come back LG!!
I think they will stop updates completely. They have kept their word and updated the phones with 3 major Android updates. It has now been 2 years to the date since they called it quits with the phone industry. It's time. Any more updates beyond the Android 13 updates will be a nice bonus surprise.
With LG v50 they only updated to android 11 but suddenly they gave v50 to android version 12 which made me quite surprised with the solder v50 that I have
the v60 is just clean, standard. it includes everything you "need" in a true flagship.. nothing fancy or gimmicky, this phone is an integration of past, present and future features that makes it eternal. 90hz, 120hz and most features in this newer flagships are only there to increase the price. most of them are even set to fhd 60hz by default because that's what works, animation and fluidity is based on software and chipset.

You really don't need to worry about charging speed with this phone because the battery lasts all day chargers at night and you're golden 0 if you're coming from a Samsung Galaxy s20 ultra with a 5,000 milliamp hour battery you'll be amazed by how much better the v60's battery is.. everything that was good about LG Mobile is in this phone it really is a true tank it's not what the v60 does it's what it can't do... And that would be zoom in that a telephoto camera anything past two times image quality will suffer .. but I don't miss the telephoto camera cuz I never use them anyways when I had my the wide-angle in the 64 megapixel shooter are dope as hell especially if you know how to use the manual mode in auto-mode the phone isn't nothing to write home about but when you use the manual mode it becomes f****** awesomely rich vibrant , perfect light... And if you don't know how to use manual mode you can always go into manual mode and use Auto manual mode once you get into this phone you won't want to upgrade because it'll be a downgrade your losing two very important things if you buy a new flagship that is expandable storage you are content creator it's crucial vital you have to have 512 ain't shitt
Not only was this phone cheaper than the s20 the base model it handily outperform the s20 ultra with double the storage expandable two double what the ultra was when it had ex storage... @@memesyandhorrorshorts On the V60 the notch only goes to the status bar. It's far less distracting than Samsung's circle of dead pixels that they call a punch hole camera. However I still prefer the V20's approach with the "second screen" which always kept your notifications and stuff up there which never interrupted the main screen and you don't accidently tap a pop-up instead.
Had this phone for a while now, but still rocking the V30 (smaller, does everything I need, no notch). Looking forward to switching over soon, though. This phone should be usable for the next 3-4 years easily.
I have the LG G6 and I still love it ! I like how it fits in hands and pockets. The fingerprint is dead, there not much memory and sometimes it lags a bit when opening apps but for a 2017 device still really good ! I want to change for one with good filming camera though and i'm sad LG doesn't make phone anymore... I'm hesitating between samsung and xiaomi for his successor
I have an LG g6 too and it used to be slow and lacking memory and it couldn't download some apps. But when I did reset to the phone it just like turned into a new one. Am still using it as a backup phone.and it's good. so i suggest u do a reset to Ur phone.
I think there's probably going to be a few more security patches but I wouldn't hold my breath for much beyond that. LG maintained their promise, they're ultimately a business and it doesn't benefit them to keep pushing more updates.

I think that LG is outa here. I had to go back to my V20 because imy Note 9 had an unscheduled rapid disassembly. Most of the LG services are shutting down as of July. I don't know if that 8ncludes the update server but I wouldn't be surprised LG was horrible with updates I really wanted a V60 and it was a difficult choice between that and another Note. I bought the V20 because I couldn't get a Note 7 and just hung onto it until I couldn't take it anymore last fall. I loved everything about that phone, replaceable battery, great camera, awesome music playback.... I bought a Note 10+ this morning because the deal was too good to pass up. If I can also find a deal on a V60 with a second screen I'll probably go for it just for music alone.

I had the LG G8X and thoroughly loved it while I had it - I jumped the gun (and the tech panic button) when the news of LG leaving the smartphone business came out and when I was eligible for an upgrade, I got the (standard) Pixel 6 which I also love..........I put first and foremost importance on software and security updates, camera quality and stock Android experience which the Google Pixel phones excel at! Most everything else specwise in a current mid/flagship device is a given! I will be upgrading to the (again, standard) Pixel 7 when I'm eligible only because of a few minor improvements PLUS the improved Tensor 2 chip!

yeah most of them were refixed before packaged for sale, so you really have to check the phone thoroughly before paying...if it has a warranty you can return it if the problem persists...try tweaking the colours in display settings
I just got my V60 📱and let me just say I have no regrets the battery life is chef's kiss 😁👌🏾🖤 the only thing bad that i've heard is the charging port but I just use my wireless charger but it's probably because of the dual screen case causeing that to happen 😐
My battery drain increased. For the first time ever, I woke up to a drained phone, turned off in the middle of night. Twice in a row in fact. The phone seems faster, smoother, fluid. But the battery is terrible - compared to what it was. I lost at least two to three hours of sot. From almost 9 hours down to 6 hours. Not sure what the problem is.
I have the same problem. Only if using with dual screen case. Battery down 50% while I was a sleep. No apps was running at all. But the battery works normal witgout the dual screen case.

restart the phone or use the lg cleaner...it might be due excess cache and junk files..or might be due to the software, updates will fix it.

Just make sure you get a T-Mobile GSM Unlocked version (if in the States) so you can get the updates.

why? they said that the update is just normal. you will face fast battery drain but for the upcoming days it will go back to normal
