Even this is one of 3 very last LG smartphones aside LG Wing and LG Velvet but LG V series are Audio Greatness much better than Samsung and Apple as the audio chip is real high-end HI-FI Quad DAC by Bang Olufsen.
Snapdragon 865 will survive for the next 10 years and it's heaven to modify to hack to the max ;)
I can never forget 2006 "LG Prada" as I bought it for my ex and "LG Chocolate" for my sister's birthday. They were most iconic phones back then aside "Motorola Razr Dolce & Gabbana".
While I was using 'Sony Ericsson Walkman Series Phone, Symbian OS P1i, and Windows Mobile Xperia X1" I was everything Sony even my camera to my laptops were Sony. 😁
South Korea's First and Most Innovative in Everything (Not Samsung)
LG and Sony are the original while Samsung, Apple, etc are just followers.
World's frst OLED Screen is by LG even for Sony devices.
LG Prada is the original smartphone Apple has copied for their first iPhone.
LG collaborations are big: LG + Hyundai, LG + Bang Olufsen, LG + Meridian, and so on.

I have the LG V60...but I got the S22 Ultra back in March 2022...As of February 2023 I decided to move back to my old LG v60 for a few reasons...
    1. The LG V60 still has better battery life, I get consistent 8-9 hours screen on time. Compared to the s22 Ultra that gives me 5-6 hours, and thats on FHD+ and 60hz setting.
    2. I still prefer photos taken on the V60. The S22 Ultra colors are more saturated and dont have Ultra Wide Correction. Also shutter lag on the S22 Ultra is anoying and its an expensive phone to have that problem.
    3. The V60 still has more powerful speakers compared to the weaker s22 Ultra.
    4. I got a 1TB Sandisk Ultra Pro SD card for cheap that I put in my V60.
But using the s22 Ultra for about 11 months then jumping back to the V60, I actually like the more natural colors on the V60. And going down from 1440p screen to a 1080p screen isn't really noticeable to me.

I love my V60. I had the V20 way back in the day and went V30 V40 V60 after that. I have no idea what my next phone will be now that LG left the smartphone market. I loved all the innovation the V20-40 brought, and even the V60 has a unique host of features you would be hard pressed to find elsewhere
Edit: to answer your closing question, I love my phone because on my trip to iceland in 2019, I was one of the only people able to capture pictures of the northern lights with my phone because of the sensor and the manual camera mode. It has 4 built in microphones for awesome live sound recording, expandable storage, the headphone jack is negotiable but really comes in handy when diving into audio recordings with good headphones, the 5g capability is a huge bonus, they replaced the ir blaster (which I loved) with whole home lg smart device connectivity (control everything from your phone), ip68 rating, and all at a good price. The closest comparable phone I have seen is the sony xperia which is much more expensive

Thick bezels? Noticable chin? Dude, I own a LG V60 and I'm very happy with my pocket rocket . The 60 Hz / 1080p display is smooth, sharp and coupled with the 5,000 mAmp battery, the phone lasts a long time on a single charge... Marketing is the key. Might keep my LG V60 ThinQ 5G UW until like 2023 or 2024. My first two phones, the iPhones 5S and 6S lasted me from 2016 to 2018, and then I switched to Android with the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Kept that one for nearly 3 years.

  • @justincasano1041

See I would have approached this much differently, firstly LG Flagship devices still have features and Hardware advantages current devices still ignore. The quad DAC, the four high-def microphones, the manual controls and flexibility on the entire camera system, the speakers are one Watt balanced surround sound. The expandable storage alone separates it. The battery life being 5 000 m a h. The video camera capabilities in combination with those amazing microphones make for some of the best audio separation I've ever heard on a phone. I know 8K is considered a gimmick but the fact you can get 24 frames per second at the same time is still way ahead of multiple high-end camera systems. LG was doing 4K 60 way ahead of everybody else.

For the kinds of things LG customers value, every other phone is gonna be a downgrade in some area. I have 274GB of storage used on my V60, so ya know, most phones are useless to me without a card slot. Xiaomi 12T, OnePlus 10T, S22 Ultra (unless I payed a kidney).. need I go on? There's nothing that can replace the V60, not even 2 years later. The headphone jack is absolutely amazing. Wouldn't give that up either. Battery life is legendary- literally no replacement for that. There's just nothing better not even almost 3 years later.

And can we say headphone jack?! I tried out a Note 20U also for double the price which I was less impressed with and sent back. My only gripes are is the camera just kinda meh to my N10+, and I am kinda worried long term since theres so many reports of the charging port failing.

One under rated feature is the "desktop mode." Just connect your LG v60 to a laptop usb-c docking station for heavier workloads. Another Interesting feature to note is that the LG v60 can also be used as a trackpad!

    • @FAT8893
      @FAT8893 ปีที่แล้ว

Desktop Mode on Android is not new since Samsung, Huawei, and Honor already has similar feature. It's just that they always keep it hushed to business and enterprise customers only. What LG managed to do is bring that feature to general mainstream's midrange-tier smartphone with the Velvet 5G. For me, the Velvet 5G is still the best midrange-tier smartphone to date for bringing active stylus support, optional Dual Screen case, and Desktop Mode support.
