I came out here to find out how to get the blades to come out. Yours seems to work. HOW?!?!? I STRUGGLE mightily every time I need new blade to COAX one out.
The spacers are there to keep the blades closer to the top when moving the outside of the case down to slide a blade out of the top of the dispenser.
Glad I found this video. I couldn't figure out how to get blades out of the box to replace mine, lol.

yes that is my fav of the razor knifes it's has the quick blade change and the extra blade storage. I have bought about 20 different kinds in the past 30 yrs as GC. And I buy that one every time I seen one.

First, if you’ll just turn the package over, it has a flap on each side & one at the bottom. Just remove the staple & slip the cardboard insert with the dispenser up & out & ummmm don’t tell people to cut away from themselves then repeatedly cut towards yourself.
Anyhoots...As soon as you accidentally popped the cover off, I figured out how the dispenser works & that my blades were stuck together, that’s why they wouldn’t dispense.

Amazing that it doesn't come with instructions. I guess Stanley assumes everyone learns how to use a box cutter dispenser from watching a parent use one. I had to learn by watching this klutz who didn't know how to use it himself. 🙄By the way, unless it's hanging on a wall, you have to push up from the bottom to get the stack of blades up to the top so you can push the top one out to the right. No need to open the case or take out the two tubes.
