Michael's father was ex military... he was brought up with discipline. He might have taken it to the extreme at times.
MJ was the complete package, leader, competitor, and motivated others to play better, even if you didn't like his methods.

Why are even bringing him up? 3 peat. Leave for 18 months and another 3 peat. 6-0 in the Finals and coming up biggest at the biggest times. Lebron hasn’t done any of that. Jordan didn’t recruit players either to make his teams which besides Scottie were mostly role players not other stars.

@ john capo--- Nope! Jordan still gets HIS JUST credit. Why? Because he was amendable to the initiation of the triangle offense. The triangle took the ball out of his hands. He could have fought the changes tooth and nail. However, Jordan was amendable. Hence, he led his team to six championships!

That's funny. I remember Jordan winning an NCAA championship, an Olympic gold medal in 1984, slam dunk titles, all star game MVPs, several scoring titles, leading the league in steals, & winning the DPOY award. By the end of the 1980's the NBA title and Finals MVP were the only thing in basketball that Jordan HAD'NT yet won! I guess different people remember different things.
