No, as i write in another comment, the best is using a mod that makes Ondolemar (Thalmor head in Markarth) a follower: act like helping him, betray him, so you progress towards a daedric artifact and in the process cleaning the land of a Thalmor. Sometimes i even kill him after casting soul trap, or using a Soul Trap enchanted weapon.
In Njada’s defense, you’d be pretty mad too if some random stranger joined your faction, then (from your perspective) capitalized on the Harbinger’s *death* to take over within a week. She’s been there far longer than the player, yet the player still manages to outrank her. I’d be pissed too
You make a good point. In-game though, you (the Dragonborn) are simply better than her in every possible way; the Companions have minimum standards for entry (e.g., you have to beat up Vilkas) but is more or less a meritocracy after that. Njada can get stuffed for being mid.
I usually pick the dunmer dude from the companions because he looked down on me when I joined and he worships the 3 good deadra so he should feel honored to be be soul trapped in azuras star after I stab him with mephala's blade and have his corpse be used as a puppet for boethia. I'm literally giving him the opportunity of an era.
Lol you may have convinced me to actually pay lip service to these three vile beings. I will happily bludgeon that old goat Logrolf into a paste. Mostly because he worships a Daedra of martial strength but can't even take a mild BDSM session. Poser. Could not care less about ventilating that weak willed fool Vigilant Tyranus. Not two minutes of a locked door, some cheap theatrics and supernatural house cleaning and he's happy to murder the only person in Skyrim that ever tried to help him or befriend him, as a worshipper of the Aedra of loyalty, guardianship and resistance to Daedric corruption. Disgusting. I'll even slit that dabbling fool from Dawnstar. He is crying for Numantia and I am happy to oblige 😂 But idk about sacrificing a companion. Even someone as enraging, as violating as Lydia. Feels bad man. Even though it is she who comes into my room and eats my bread and sits and watches me. And my man. In bed. For hours. Even on my Talos damned wedding night 😮
@@ApollyonZKXand if you're with the Stormcloaks, killing that Imperial priest who was lying to the face of the future Jarl cout get you in his good graces.
@@ApollyonZKX Argonian and Khajit are sentient races of Mundus and Tamriel, why shouldn't be cannibalism? Is like saying that an asian person eating a central african, or a caucasian eating someone from middle east, or viceversa, is not cannibalism! And Khajith by lore actually hate Namira even more than other races. If they ever perform some sort of prayer, is only to placate her, an never to whorship. Plus, by TES lore, the race that use to practice cannibalism the most are the Bosmer/Wood elves. However they use to practice that only on the bodies of enemies they killed in battle for other reasons and sometimes on beloved that already died, and they did that as a positive ritual involving honoring the strength and spirit of the fallen, and asking their soul to grant them part of that strength, plus is a way to pray and preserve the circle of life and death in nature. Namira cannibals on the other hand feed themself on the enemies to desecrate and torture their bodies even in death, and to bring squalor and decay to the world (2 of the things on wich Namira rules). In Skyrim, apart from roleplaying as a Namira (or in general all daedra) whorshiper, the closer thing is playing as a Forsworn, or a necromancer
@@Pan-oy2ck not true, different reason for cannibalism: for bosmer is whorshipping the death of a strong enemy (killed by other reasons) or a beloved (died in another way), and whiorshipping the cycle of life and death in nature. For Namira followers cannibalism is STEALING their life force, desecrating the bodies of the fallens, and bringing decay to the world. Plus they don't wait you to die in other way, they could kill you only to feed and whorshipping Namira... and in the worst scenario even to curse your body as a necromancer's tool
Completing the entire Dark Brotherhood main quest, sparing Cicero, and then just sacrificing him to Boethiah anyways is objectively the funniest option
Cosnach?! Come on, man. He's my favourite, and i'll tell you why. • You can get him to drink and do that hysterical 'drunk' animation. Love to see that. • if you wear an amulet of mara, he says "An amulet of mara? Oh i'd marry you, i'd marry you twice!" Preferably when he's drunk. • if you do marry him, he's genuinely the most wholesome husband. Showering you with compliment and 'i love yous'. • Says "Remember, hit the one in the middle!" In battle. Guy has Auto-Brewery Syndrome. Also, he's just your average drunk lad in some corner bar. A good hang, chill vibes, and some drunken shenanigans, if you're up for it.
Dude, killing Benor is wasteful. I made him a Blade and he’s one of the best choices to make a blade as heavy armor and 2 hand are his skills. His cowardice disappears as he slams that battle axe into dragonhide.
I would not kill a companion because, even though their questline is stupid, I enjoy seeing them patroling in groups in OP armor and weapons I gave them. It makes the world feel alive
I sacrificed the housecarl in (I think? It’s been a while lol) the mansion in Solitude bc she always acted like I was trespassing every time I came into my own dang house 😂
My favorite way of disposing of Ralis after that utter cash sink of a dig. Money doesn't really matter, but damn that was annoying to keep coming back to another pile of corpses when I could've just hired the Companions to pull security.
My preferred sacrifice has always been Golldir. The guy just lets his elderly aunt go into a barrow full of undead and an angry necromancer all alone. Doesn't make any attempt to go with her despite being fine with following the Dragonborn, doesn't mention even attempting to get help at any point, just paces around outside a tomb in the middle of nowhere doing nothing! He doesn't even leave after the quest so it's not like he's performing a useful service.
That guy is deadly AF. He even have perks for spells meaning if you use mods to teach him stuff, he'd me more devastating than your proper mage followers. I do not even mind that bethesda gave him a personality which costed me money the real shame is that the DB himself has no agency and he has no choice but falling for obvious scams or leave the quest in the logs forever
@@Animus5134 I know but while that would piss me off irl, I won't kill the best follower (combat wise )over that. The awesome mod Inigo tried to kill us too yet he is a fan favorite. With Sedaris it is gray as there is less expressed regrets but you can roleplay he is now loyal. I don't get how skyrim fans tend to prefer the more generic characters while the fallout folks want super complex followers
The funniest part about Njada is that her disposition towards you will change to positive once you become Harbinger, meaning one second she's like "ugh, what guidance could you even offer me" to "friends like you are hard to find and valuable to me :)"
As i said in the poll, after discovering a mod that can make Ondolemar (the Thalmor boss in Markarth) a follower after a small task, he is my pick in 90% of the playthroughs: I act like i was helping only to backstab him afterwards, i clean Tamriel of an high rank Thalmor, and in the process i make a step in acquiring an artifact! Total win! PS: Sometimes i even kill him after casting soul trap, or using a Soul Trap enchanted weapon. Max gain for me, max pain for him.
We have to keep Ondolemar around, he's literally the only Thalmor who can grasp manners even a little. Since we can't reasonably kill every Thalmor member (since they've taken over them islands, I would assume they've made party support mandatory so most Altmer are technically Thalmor on the homeland, we don't have to jump to genocide first) we're going to have to give the ex-Thalmors we spare a good example, and one with manners will be an important deprograming tool.
@@YourWaywardDestiny Ondolemar can grasp manners? He is in Markarth only for his duty of Justiciar, searching for any proof of someone whorshipping Talos... and he never say nothing to put him above average Thalmors... he actually acts more or less like Elenwen. But thier calm behaviours are not "good manners" towards the citizen of Skyrim, but they act simply accordingly to their diplomatic/politic role. On your assumption that in Summerset Island most Altmer are Thalmor (at least most of the influencial ones), you are correct: by lore all the Altmer in their homeland that didn't support them were killed or escaped the province. I would like to know if there is some sort of hidden internal resistance movement, it would be cool. About the genocide, i never think is an option, since i understand the difference between Thalmor high ranks operatives (guilty) Thalmor low ranks or supporters (that can be fooled around by their propaganda, but can be redemeed, and we have an example in game, the Falkreath priest of Arkay), and other non Thalmor Altmer and Bosmer and we have a lot of neutral elves, and some altmer that are actively against the Thalmor, (like the Imperial Legate in the Rift Imperial Camp)... respect for those 2 last groups!
@@alessiodaniotti264 Nothing you're saying is wrong. But also most every other Thalmor you meet will decide it's time to resort to violence after two questions. Yes, I'd say that means he can grasp manners better, and significantly better than most others, actually. In comparison, that's some damn good manners, even if they're performative and not particularly genuine. It's not about him being particularly good yet, it's more about how much worse the rest seem to be. Also, just because we're talking about him and important people in the same breath, we don't know how important Ondolemar really is. All he says is he's the "commander of the region" and that tells us almost nothing. What does he mean by region? Of all of Skyrim? Of the south-western bit of Skyrim? Of the Reach? Of Markarth? Of the little strip he walks outside of the Jarl's throne room? His whole command could be those two soldiers who follow him around and his entire mission is to irritate the Jarl into arresting Talos worshippers in the city.
In my evil playthrough I employed Eola of Namira's coven as my companion for months, and before I finally sacrificed her to Boethiah I cast Soul Trap on her, later putting her soul into a shellbug helmet with the Namira's Ring enchantment, which I affectionately named "Eola's Face". I should have named it "Namira's Face" but my character was petty.😄
@@Cybernaut76 Nazeem is a rich prick who mocks the poor, Rolff is a racist prick who mocks anyone who isn't a nord. You do get to beat him senseless tho
Dude I know some people who sacrificed Brelyna Maryon. These guys really live a risky life, cause Brelyna is a noble girl from the Great House Telvanni. So if you don't want your Dragonborn to hide from one-man-army sorcerers thurst for vengeance until the rest of his/her life, let Brelyna study Conjuration in the College.
I sacrificed Sven to Boethiah with the Ebony Blade. Bonus: I harvested the blood of Ondolemar, Yamarz, Faendal, and Erandur for Septimus by killing and soul trapping them with Molag's Mace. Their souls are used for my kids' enchanted daedric daggers, and reanimated those losers as my pack mules & meat shields.
I found that out when I was recording the gameplay lol. And if having that Breton passive is really necessary, you can always recruit Celann at Fort Dawnguard instead.
@@GreatOldOneCthulhu oh I have no intention of killing Paarthurnax, it's just something to give 3 candidates something more, him Ogol from the cursed Orc tribe and Uthgerd get to leave their lives and regrets behind.
Define "hero", because even in real history all heroes have dark sides and secrets. That's what makes fantasy and history (or fantasy based on history) so interesting in the first place. If there were no room for darkness, light wouldn't be defined without shadows. The world is a power struggle between light and dark, so fantasy always includes both. You can be anything you want to be in Skyrim, and I encourage that people do at least one "evil" or "antihero" playthrough with complicated moral decisions. It's a good ethical exercise.
@@corv1d770 My hero already has one murder to his list of offenses even if I have so far played through only College of Winterhold, still havent joined civil war, any DLC adventure or even main quest very far.
Cosnach, Eola and Ralis are some of my favorite followers. You're sleeping on Cosnach, who is probably the best early game follower. You can unlock him for an Ale, he has the Breton racial passive (25% Magic Resist) along with great Ai. He will dual wield if you give him a Forsworn sword. Uthgerd the Unbroken is the one you should sacrifice. She is an unemployed drunk (spends 24 hours a day in the Bannered Mare) who has a house that she is too drunk to find (until she's fleeing the Battle of Whiterun). She killed a companion when she tried to join. She spends her days picking fights and drinking.
I do this whole thing every playthrough using both the Serana and Katria glitches to make my girls squad, and it’s bc I go from vampire to werewolf that I’m able to do it, so Eola is kind of the thing I base my game around….a vampire, a werewolf, a ghost, a cannibal, and a ___ (whatever pet I theme our dual-enchanted armor around) walk into a tavern… Omg. I’m just realizing I play this game based entirely around Eola. 🤣
Disagree. She kills a noob in the Companions because she was sparring drunk. So what does she do? Go to a tavern, get drunk, and challenge random people to spar. She's not trying to redeem her mistake, she's looking to repeat it. She is usually my choice.
This used to be an easy choice. Once upon a time (namely like 2011) you could get the racist drunk, Rolff Stone-fist, in Windhelm as a follower. Sacrificed him on my first playthrough on 360.
Master Neloth giving us all food for thought. This is a tough one for me because I always try to RP play it up as a per basis situation. When I do the Boethiah's calling quest I usually sacrifice Ralis Sedarys. I only need one reason for doing this. 1. He is a "Dark Elf" it would be His Honor to Die in the name and glory of Boethiah. BOOM DONE. 😈
The best unmodded sacrifice will be anyone from the Ghosts of the Tribinal quest. They become followers, but a followup quest demands them to be slain by your hand.
There is an interesting situation of a Priest of Boethia planning a major sacrifice. In the quest for the Mace of Molag Bal you are introduced to Logrolf the Willful. Now go to Dragon Bridge and talk to Azzada Lylvieve about who saved him from the streets of Markarth , an old soldier named Logrolf the Bent. First names aren’t repeated in the game but rarely. Also, would you take alms from a priest of Boethia? Disguised as an old Nord soldier who has a house (!) in Markarth, Azzada grows, leaves the city and makes a good living in Dragonbridge. The ultimate sacrifice for Boethia is to take this man at the pinnacle of success and sacrifice him to Boethia. This is I believe is Logrolf’s plan now destroyed by your helping Molag Bal.
I play as a dark elf worshiping the reclemations, Uthgard challenges you in Whiterun. After winning her over in a fight. I take her to the post and sacrifice her with the Ebony blade from Mephala which also requires the blood of friends to power up. Win win, and two daedra are appeased. Lore friendly.
Any character who would sacrifice anyone to a dadra for personal gain probably isnt going to care how productive or nice there sacrifice is. The very nature of this quest is evil. Not that I'm complaining
And here I am at the stage of my powerhouse (In other words, level 251 and is based on me a tad) character's run where I have been thinking of who to sacrifice, so thanks. I don't like Eola at all, to the point that after trancing the Priest of Arkay, I'm likely to just turn on everyone there instead.
Adelaisa and Roggi can be useful as steward in your mansion if you doesn't like give that role to your fellow housecarls or guild members. I also hate Cosnach for some reason. Maybe Njada is also good choice, but she is still my guild member.
Alright, now hear me out... Install Amazing Follower Tweaks. Proceed through the main story as normal. Once you reach lvl 30, and you are at the point of the game where Delphine wants you to kill Parthurnax, trigger the random encounter, and wait the in-game week. Then head to Sky Haven Temple. Use the power to make Delphine a follower, thus breaking her scripts, and making her mortal. Take her to Boethia, and give her the Reverse Uno Card.
Ahtar, The Solitude executioner is my choice. It took forever to get him out of Jala's house to get his axe.. Let him take out the cultists so you don't waste healing potions or magika. Just remember to get the axe before the sacrifice. Because he may not have it afterward for some reason.
Sacrificing Eola doesn't sit right with me. I feel like dragging her to Boithia might not make Namira too pleased. I'm already dabbling with Demon Lords, I don't need to be pressing my luck any more than I need to be. We don't know how attached to her followers Namira might get. Cosnach is the best choice choice, followed by Njada. Cosnach literally does nothing, and Njada is insufferable
1. get Amazing Follower Tweak 2. Play as dunnmer 3. beat the shit out of Nord threatening fellow dunnmer in Windhelm 4. make him a companion 5. Sacrifice!
Whoa, whoa, whoa...since when are cannibals not providing a service? Do you know how much work goes into getting rid of or burying a body? Not to mention that every meal they don't eat is another meal for a child in Honorhall Orphanage, or whatever.
Ralis used to be my main go to for the exact reasons given in the video because if you fight him, he sort of reveals himself as still being a fanatic of that Dragon Priest. But...once I found out that Ralis has by far the highest damage output of all followers, I chose Faendal instead because he's a total hypocrit. He won't steal for you after you delivered his FORGED LETTER...WTF?! He gets all high and mighty about morality after what he did?? Also, if you break into a house, he stands there and says "Your not supposed to be in here!!" and if you steal while he's your follower, he will straight up leave your service and go home.
Unfortunately in my playthrough Faendal glitched and i can't dismiss him so he's the sacrificial lamb this playthrough. Can't even access his inventory so he's stuck just using an iron knife
Why not just sacrifice one of the Ghosts of Tribunal? Not only do they have no personality and you definitely don't need all 4 of them, but also regardless of your moral allignment, what they do is heresy towards Boethiah.
*Sacrifices Serana* "I ain't no sim p" On a serious note, I sacrificed the mage woman from the tower south of Riften. It was kind of like poetic justice since she betrayed her mother.
11:42 The other note as to how Powerful Ralis is, is he's doing all that with mining equipment, not something actually intended to be used as a weapon! Imagine giving him actual axes or something.
Honestly, you’re probably doing Cosnach a favor by sacrificing him - if the Forsworn or a drunken tumble down Markarth’s winding stairs don’t kill him, the ALD eventually will.
Once the Dragonborn DLC was released, I started always making Ralis Sedarys a follower after his questline is done and sacrificing him. He is one of the few I don't feel bad about. Before the DLC, I would sacrifice Faendal as long as my archery was already leveled up, just because he is such a low level follower and is only really useful for carrying stuff early on and for training. Speaking purely from a game mechanics and player centric position. I always felt a little bad about betraying him. Edit: Eola I almost always made a steward for one of my homesteads. I mean, she eats people, but so did my werewolf dragonborn.
My personal sacrifice list - ALL OF THEM! I don't use followers unless I'm doing Survival mode. At the least they won't shutup and at the worst they get all pissy when you accidently hit them during battle. But if they hit you no apology from them whatsoever. The only follower that I'd spare is Mjoll.
Utreght the Unbroken.. Here's why. 1. You hire her for free after winning 100 gold from her. 2. You get the advanced steel armor, key to uthgerd whiterun house and an inheritence money.
Also Uthgerd is… a pretty questionable individual. She got kicked out of the Companions after killing someone in a training fight. The Companions who are an order of werewolves willing to take contracts to beat up various citizens of Skyrim for extortion or coercion… these are the people who said that Uthgerd was too violent and unrestrained for them. And implicitly: they probably realise that someone like Uthgerd would be extremely reckless and uncontrolled with the beast blood. The Companions depend on secrecy about their true nature to survive after all. Uthgerd never shows any regret for the person she killed and mostly seems to resent the fact that it cost her her place in the Companions and spends her days drinking and brawling with strangers. In other words: her motives seem wholly selfish and she doesn’t seem to have made any significant effort to atone for her deeds.
@@HellqueenRoz A perfect candidate, plus like I mentioned. By the time you travel from Whiterun and find the shrine of boetiah, she becomes your bff, after you slaah her, and take all the loot, travel back to Whiterun, loot your new house and upgrade advanced steel armor. It should suffice until you grab Ebony Mail. It's worth to grab Marcurio as a worthy companion if stealth is optional.
i think it's reasonable to say that boethiah maybe might be a 'new' daedric prince compared to the male boetheias - i mean, if nothing else we know some daedric princes can give that title to a new person, seeing it happens in the shivering isles with the champion of cyrodill. i know eso is technically a huge prequel and sheo doesn't exactly seem that different given the canon coc was also male, but it could still stand
there's an option that feels attractive for specifically Stormcloak players - Ahtar, the headsman of Solitude, who has the dubious honor of beheading Roggvir when you enter the city for the first time. pretty understandable why a Stormcloak-aligned player would want to take revenge for that, even if Ahtar doesn't really fit the other metrics by which this video measures sacrifice-ability (he contributes to society, is a morally upstanding citizen and not a jerk). also in doing this you can get the ebony mail by sacrificing an ebony male, and I love a good bad pun lmao
@@crimsonmaelstrom573 he doesn't. you might be thinking of captain aldis, who has dialogue about how roggvir was an honorable man and that even though the execution was justified he didn't enjoy it. if you ask ahtar about the execution he just confirms that it's his job, and further dialogue that seems to imply he actually likes his job. plus there's some unused scenes (that the unofficial patch restores) where he taunts the stormcloak sympathizer that's imprisoned in castle dour which seem to further confirm his loyalties to the empire.
Personally I don’t agree with the idea that the one you should sacrifice should be someone you don’t like, it’s a betrayal so it should feel like one. When you bring your follower to be sacrificed you should feel remorse for what you’re about to do, the person you sacrifice should be someone that matters, the betrayal should sting. It’s not much of a betrayal if the guy you sacrifice is a random guy you just met 3 minutes ago which is why I prefer choosing my closest follower instead, I know many people don’t like to see their favourites die but as an fe fan I feel it must be said that letting your favourite character die for once will just deepen your appreciation for both the one sacrificed and for other followers you mauve not given a shot otherwise. Now I’ve mainly went over how I like to handle it from a role playing perspective but that’s just cause I think that’s more fun to do, I’d much rather sacrifice Lydia for a crucial character moment that changes my character as it should rather than sacrifice some drunk guy I meet 1 afternoon ago for some cool unique armour. That’s just my own preference though.
To add on about the slaughtering of the Boethia cultists you can refuse to sacrifice anyone and Boethia will out a curse on you draining your attributes and sending some dramora after you. Not related to the topic of the video but something I want to see in future Elder Scrolls games and even ESO. The choice of just refusing daedric quest and telling the princes to sod off. Be so nice for Meridia’s quest.
Pretty sure Faendal is not mentioned often because of his early game glitch of training archery for free. I usually kill Ralis for his pickaxe. I love the ancient nordic one, and having a named one is a must for me.
Illia is who I usually sacrifice because if you dismiss her, you can't get her as a follower again due to a bug. So unless I'm playing on pc, that's who I usually sacrifice
Regarding Eola... You always have the chance to betray her at the last minute, and take out the whole cannibalist cult of Namira with her. Just bring Brother Verulus to the "feast" like normal, but instead of following through with that nonsense, attack Eola instead. Everyone turns hostile and you can wipe them out, all of them, ridding Skyrim of their despicable rot. Just... try to keep away from Brother Verulus when he comes out of his stupor, because he will keep engaging you in conversation regardless of the fact that there are cannibal cultists trying to murder you! 🤦♂️
I sacrifice Faendal. Because even though I choose him for his archery, he should never have treated a woman like a prize to be won instead of a Lady to court.
I always sacrifice the Windhelm hireling. Can't remember his name even though he's been a follower on more playthroughs than any other. He's just so convenient. I pick him up on my way over and immediately kill him off.
i can’t bring myself to sacrifice roggi he was my first husband in the game lol i just thought he was hot 😭 i’ve had hundreds of other playthroughs and never married him again but i still have a soft spot for him
The solstheim follower was my first pick to sacrifice since he's weak minded enough to become a mass murderer in the name of his daedric god. The 2 or 3 playthroughs of skyrim i did always fast tracked going to solstheim for the major unlocks there. The solstheim dragon priest masks could be used in conjunction with the falmer helmets like how the main game ones used to be, but these were better as they provide elemental damage boosts. My favorite was zakrisoos. Didnt matter which though since all provided same boost to chaos enchantments... The chaos enchantment was another must have from solstheim. Pair that with maxed destruction tree, maxed enchanting (the armor set from the one ruin you had to clear again and again good for thissince it provided enchanting boost), and the stalhrim weapons. Stalhrim weapons boosted frost damage but since chaos damage had frost as part of it, ALL of them were boosted. And if you pair the insanely powerful chaos enchantment with something like fear for example, you could make enemies up to level 152 run away when without the chaos enchant it would be like level 30. Although i wasn't a big fear user as it made me chase targets rather than slaughter, i preferred the healing on one sword and soul snare on another. The power to get unlimited mana for magic for 30s was huge, cus once you had that you could cheese your levels quickly and unlock every perk you wanted to within minutes, as you only had to use your left trigger for telekenisis, open the map, and fast travel to the other side of solstheim longeays to get 100 alteration instantly. Just do this in small sessions rather than jumping from level 40 to level 200 since you'll be very under equipped after you're done if you do it all at once. The other power that was a must have was the daedric merchant. No longer was weight an issue in dungeons as any time you looted too mich you could just summon him and sell him the heaviest garbage on the spot, and then wait if necessary to summon him again.
I’ve been sacrificing (spoiler free reference to No1) since the ps3 edition of the game!🤣 I would put your honourable mention in my own personal “not kill” list, as she makes a particularly interesting steward for your homestead. In fact, I wouldn’t put anyone who could be a steward on my kill list due to that being a mechanical benefit to the player.
I personally prefer Illia since she is a relatively meh companion that just sits in Darklight Tower after her quest is done. She brings nothing to any community/aesthetic in a location that you will only revisit for radiant quests and is still a morally dubious character at best due to her history of being a witch. In my play throughs I often make her a steward or sacrifice due to how easily she can be forgotten otherwise.
Controversial take, but you can sacrifice a begger, then you can resurrect them after each kill(using a skill that doesn't turn them to dust upon death)
I usually sacrifice Lydia. She's by far the most annoying housecarl and follower, and I have absolutely no problems to send her to the pillar. Njada has this weird habit of falling onto my axe whenever I enter the halls of the Companions, so she's not around long enough to be sacrificed. Although, now that you mentioned Adelaisa Vendicci, I am considering choosing her in my next playthrough, because frankly, she's the only follower who actively tries to get you killed, by ordering the bombing of Japhets Folly, knowing full well that you're still running around there running that assassination job for her.
I once broke this quest somehow. I forgot that I had Whirlwind Sprint equipped and accidentally used it while I was going up the stairs. Once I used it, the priestess turned into a cod. No idea why or how it happened, but it did and I was unable to continue the quest.
For whatever reason I really like Ralis. I think the way he talks to the player is amusing, and he looks "mostly honest". Since money isn't a concern I usually just buy Marcurrio (think that's his name), and I don't use him for anything other than "come here. Touch that pillar. Hold still, this shouldn't hurt too much."
I feel bad about this, probably the most evil petty thing I did in Skyrim, which is a bit pathetic, because it’s rather tame. I didn’t like that my male, bodyguard? What’s it called? Was home alone with my wife when I was busy being an absentee father, so I killed him. Man probably wasn’t even sleeping with my wife, but I was NEVER home. Honestly I wouldn’t have even blamed her for getting lonely.
The best sacrifice is using a mod to make Nazeem a follower and sacrificing him
For me the best would be a mod to make Rolff Stone-Fist a follower and use him as sacrifice. Nothing but pleasure of this.
This is the way
100% this

Pretty sure there is a quest for the Companions where it can happen he has to be rescued.
He might become a follower after saving him

Not two minutes of a locked door, some cheap theatrics and supernatural house cleaning and he's happy to murder the only person in Skyrim that ever tried to help him or befriend him, as a worshipper of the Aedra of loyalty, guardianship and resistance to Daedric corruption. Disgusting.
I'll even slit that dabbling fool from Dawnstar. He is crying for Numantia and I am happy to oblige 😂
But idk about sacrificing a companion. Even someone as enraging, as violating as Lydia. Feels bad man. Even though it is she who comes into my room and eats my bread and sits and watches me. And my man. In bed. For hours. Even on my Talos damned wedding night 😮
He didnt have too much develoment story beside race elf
You are a genius my friend!
First playthrough, wearing the Ebony Mail and using the damage effect to kill slaughterfish while swimming made me feel like a badass idk why
Oh my god that’s such a smart idea!
I killed all bandits in one location, using only ebony mail, in stealth. They were just standing near, trying to find my dragonborn.
I had no idea you could do that.
I gotta remember that one
My only gripe with sacrifing Eola is that if you did her quest, you're a cannibal too and don't have any moral high ground.
Unless you're an Argonian or Khajit, I don't think it's cannibalism.
@@ApollyonZKXand if you're with the Stormcloaks, killing that Imperial priest who was lying to the face of the future Jarl cout get you in his good graces.
If you're a bosmer, that's just normal for you though
Unfair! Unjust! Cicero has done nothing wrong...
"Ohhh Listener, that tickles!!"
When I discovered his marriage lines months ago I will admit that I did soften up to him a bit.
Thank you!! He’s literally my favorite person to marry from base game
Cosnach never looks down on my characters skooma addiction...
The Skyrim drunk animation is all I needed to hear, I’m convinced
That animation is a gem
Dude, killing Benor is wasteful. I made him a Blade and he’s one of the best choices to make a blade as heavy armor and 2 hand are his skills. His cowardice disappears as he slams that battle axe into dragonhide.
X2
I never thought of sacrificing njada. She's so perfect to get rid of
And it is difficult to find a blocking skill trainer.
I usually make her the steward for the hearthfire home in morthal because it's a swamp with giant bugs everywhere.
Fellow Njada enjoyer
I would not kill a companion because, even though their questline is stupid, I enjoy seeing them patroling in groups in OP armor and weapons I gave them. It makes the world feel alive
@@HJHWolfdude the block skill is the easiest thing to rank in skyrim
I sacrificed the housecarl in (I think? It’s been a while lol) the mansion in Solitude bc she always acted like I was trespassing every time I came into my own dang house 😂
My favorite way of disposing of Ralis after that utter cash sink of a dig. Money doesn't really matter, but damn that was annoying to keep coming back to another pile of corpses when I could've just hired the Companions to pull security.
Nah... I like him. He seems ok.
He’s a good steward for the Goldenhills Plantation though
He is also racist
After years of avoiding the quest, ive finally chosen someone that i dont feel bad sacrificing, Ralis from Solsthiem.
The Most Expensive Follower In the Game.... Eleven Thousand Septims
Me too man
That guy is deadly AF.
@@darthmadara7984 and tried to kill us when we refuse to accept his apology
Yeah, that shocked me as well
Roggi is actually one of my favorite followers. No good reason. He's such a bro and I don't care about his weak stats. Thank you for defending him. :)
Roggi is my favorite steward. Dude's awesome. He can keep my farmhands happy while I forget it exists for weeks.
As i said in the poll, after discovering a mod that can make Ondolemar (the Thalmor boss in Markarth) a follower after a small task, he is my pick in 90% of the playthroughs:
I act like i was helping only to backstab him afterwards, i clean Tamriel of an high rank Thalmor, and in the process i make a step in acquiring an artifact! Total win!
PS: Sometimes i even kill him after casting soul trap, or using a Soul Trap enchanted weapon. Max gain for me, max pain for him.
the solution to all skyrim's problems is to kill thalmor
@@leam1978 not only to all skyrim's problems, but to most of Tamriel's ones (even for some High elves that not joined the Thalmor)

One of the best things to do: Ruin Sven's love life, Sacrifice Faendal, Marry Camilla Valerius. Also sacrifice Camilla Valerius for the Ebony Blade.
Good to see great Skyrim content still being produced in 2024! haha
Cosnach can also be gained as a follower if you just give him alcohol. He isn't really bad since his Breton blood gives him extra Magic Resistance.
I found that out when I was recording the gameplay lol. And if having that Breton passive is really necessary, you can always recruit Celann at Fort Dawnguard instead.

I find him more useful in recruiting him to the Blades

No one because I value honor over power, this is Skyrim, you're meant to be a hero damnit!!
According to everything I have seen, the dragonborn is supposed to be a honorless and soulless hero.
I do this whole thing every playthrough using both the Serana and Katria glitches to make my girls squad, and it’s bc I go from vampire to werewolf that I’m able to do it, so Eola is kind of the thing I base my game around….a vampire, a werewolf, a ghost, a cannibal, and a ___ (whatever pet I theme our dual-enchanted armor around) walk into a tavern…
Omg. I’m just realizing I play this game based entirely around Eola. 🤣
My compliments for not including Uthgerd the Unbroken. She needs redemption, not execution
Indeed
Disagree. She kills a noob in the Companions because she was sparring drunk. So what does she do? Go to a tavern, get drunk, and challenge random people to spar. She's not trying to redeem her mistake, she's looking to repeat it. She is usually my choice.
Havent watched yet. I sacrifice Faendal every time lol. Hello Master Neloth!
Hello there Hireling!!!!
This used to be an easy choice. Once upon a time (namely like 2011) you could get the racist drunk, Rolff Stone-fist, in Windhelm as a follower. Sacrificed him on my first playthrough on 360.
Anyone I have to invest 10+ minutes to acquire, just isn’t worth it to me. Plus I’m not spending 11,000 gold on a follower just to kill him
Master Neloth giving us all food for thought.
BOOM DONE. 😈
Thanks for the advice master neloth. Keep up the good videos 👍
This is I believe is Logrolf’s plan now destroyed by your helping Molag Bal.
you know its a good day when Master Neloth uploads
It's a fine day with him around.
I love Neloth. He's my favorite. But, when it comes to sacrificing, I tend to use Uthgerd the Unbroken or Benor. Cosnach gets on my nerves too much.
One of my favorite lore tidbits was that the only reason Malacath exists is because Boethiah had a massive crush on Shor/Shezzare/Lorkhan
Shor a.k.a Lorkhan was essentially “Zeus” of The Elder Scrolls franchise.
What
6:00 unless you are playing an evil character... Like one that would participate in human sacrifice just to get some cool armor.
Adalesa is usually my personal go-to for this. She's so obnoxious to the DB. I never thought of taking Ralis there.
I needed this video. I wanted to do this quest to get the display but I didn't know who to sacrifice.
Aela. It's time to purge werewolf curse from Companions for good.
AYO WUT??!? NAH NOT AELA
I want to be able to use a master illusion spell to make NPCs into followers. My personal pick: Moghrul.
I always sacrifice faendal the wood elf from riverwood.I usually do this quest around the magnium opus quest so i can get the wood elf blood easier.
Adelaisa and Roggi can be useful as steward in your mansion if you doesn't like give that role to your fellow housecarls or guild members.
I also hate Cosnach for some reason. Maybe Njada is also good choice, but she is still my guild member.
Adelasia is not very good when bandits attack your house.
I always sacrifice honorable npcs because it makes sense since Boethia values cunning over honor
Sven in the vanilla game. The spooniest Bard in Skyrim. And then you steal his girl.
1. get Amazing Follower Tweak
2. Play as dunnmer
3. beat the shit out of Nord threatening fellow dunnmer in Windhelm
4. make him a companion
5. Sacrifice!
I always sacrifice Roggi Knot Beard because he’s a mid follower and is recruited somewhat close to the shrine.
I usually like to make him Steward of one of my homes, since he's not exactly the adventuring type.
You can also sacrifice your spouse.
You can also sacrifice your second spouse.
Why not just sacrifice one of the Ghosts of Tribunal? Not only do they have no personality and you definitely don't need all 4 of them, but also regardless of your moral allignment, what they do is heresy towards Boethiah.
*Sacrifices Serana*
"I ain't no sim p"
On a serious note, I sacrificed the mage woman from the tower south of Riften. It was kind of like poetic justice since she betrayed her mother.
Roggi is easy to sacrifice because he lives just next to the shrine 😅
I mean, she eats people, but so did my werewolf dragonborn.
i wish we could sacrifice Maven or Delhine
I would sacrifice Maven in a heartbeat! Delphine too!
What about the bugged character at dark light tower
My personal sacrifice list - ALL OF THEM! I don't use followers unless I'm doing Survival mode. At the least they won't shutup and at the worst they get all pissy when you accidently hit them during battle. But if they hit you no apology from them whatsoever.
The only follower that I'd spare is Mjoll.
Well, Mjoll is essential, so you cant sacrifice her anyways.
Am I the only one that waits till I can make vampire servants and sacrifice random npcs
there's an option that feels attractive for specifically Stormcloak players - Ahtar, the headsman of Solitude, who has the dubious honor of beheading Roggvir when you enter the city for the first time. pretty understandable why a Stormcloak-aligned player would want to take revenge for that, even if Ahtar doesn't really fit the other metrics by which this video measures sacrifice-ability (he contributes to society, is a morally upstanding citizen and not a jerk). also in doing this you can get the ebony mail by sacrificing an ebony male, and I love a good bad pun lmao
To be fair, Ahtar didn’t enjoy killing Roggvir. He even admits it when you mention it to him
@@crimsonmaelstrom573 he doesn't. you might be thinking of captain aldis, who has dialogue about how roggvir was an honorable man and that even though the execution was justified he didn't enjoy it. if you ask ahtar about the execution he just confirms that it's his job, and further dialogue that seems to imply he actually likes his job. plus there's some unused scenes (that the unofficial patch restores) where he taunts the stormcloak sympathizer that's imprisoned in castle dour which seem to further confirm his loyalties to the empire.
I always just sacrifice Ahtar, the executioner in Solitude. It's so poetic to kill him with his own axe.
Once you exhaust his free archery, he makes a good and justified sacrifice
Pretty much, yeah. But I just send him back and pick up Mjoll instead once I unlock her.@@RyanYoxo
Enmon, the only non-follower that can be sacrificed to Boethiah.
I just sacrifice random killable npc, without considering who deserves it and who isn't, if I don't plan to marry them or use them somehow else.
And one of my other favorites... I just love listening to the dragonborn's choices.
I like the number 8
Another banger from the master wizard neloth 👌
Nazeem, Mikael, Sven, Sibbi Black Briar, Galmar Stone Fist’s brother.
I used Eola recently and I just found it poetic lmao.
I always sacrifice the Windhelm hireling. Can't remember his name even though he's been a follower on more playthroughs than any other. He's just so convenient. I pick him up on my way over and immediately kill him off.
I sacrificed my wife Uthgerd.
She was a burden.
And divorce is expensive
i can’t bring myself to sacrifice roggi he was my first husband in the game lol i just thought he was hot 😭 i’ve had hundreds of other playthroughs and never married him again but i still have a soft spot for him
The solstheim follower was my first pick to sacrifice since he's weak minded enough to become a mass murderer in the name of his daedric god.
Too bad you can’t sacrifice Delphine
I’ve been sacrificing (spoiler free reference to No1) since the ps3 edition of the game!🤣
I would put your honourable mention in my own personal “not kill” list, as she makes a particularly interesting steward for your homestead. In fact, I wouldn’t put anyone who could be a steward on my kill list due to that being a mechanical benefit to the player.
Great video Master Neloth. I will keep this in mind when which follow I should sacifice to Boethiah in Skyrim, you also earn a sub from me.
would sacrifice delphine no questions asked and cant change my mind.
I just never think about the consequences of murdering someone. I just fast travel to windhelm and hire stenvar to sacrifice.
I usually just ignore this quest because I feel bad sacrificing people
Boethia got mad at me for killing all her followers, but I didnt even do that, a dragon wiped them all out
For whatever reason I really like Ralis.
Poor housecarl, man was just trying to do his job😢
@@RedCommunistDragon man made a good sacrifice to a deadra though
@@Affirmbuttress Just curious: Which one was it?
@@RedCommunistDragon the markarth housecarl, i think Boithia? He stood on a little platform
@@Affirmbuttress Argis the Bulwark.
