    As someone who is still in school with the same set of people daily, i struggle a lot to maintain happiness because I lack friendships that I feel secure in. I've grown out of a lot of things that my peers haven't yet so I have friends that act really childish and cruel which typical results in me feeling miserable after being around them. In the past couple months my friendships got significantly more stressful and since then i have really stuggled to be in a good mood. I dont think ive been in a genuinly good mood in about 2 months. And whenever i am in one they are usually very brief they last about 30 minutes. I was wondering if you have any tips on how to maintain happiness when you lack a healthy friendship because I know surrounding yourself with people you resonate with means a lot but I've struggled to find that anywhere in my school. This video was really helpful and I am going to try using your advice so thank you💕

      Hey babe! Thanks for sharing this & I honestly see where you’re coming from. It’s not easy to remain in good spirits when things in close proximity are everything but good. I’ve personally been in a very toxic living environment too where sometimes I’d cry myself to bed out of frustration.
      What I did to get myself out of that situation was making sure I made time for myself to feel. Journaled my feelings, but also excused myself from hanging around with the people that I didn’t feel comfortable around.
      I’d go on walks, go to coffee shops on my lunch breaks and made sure to nurture myself and learn to be happy by myself.
      One thing I’d also recommend is tuning into your hobbies. If there’s something you enjoy doing, go & check out the app meet up or search classes & events on shoobs or eventbrite or TikTok for that hobby to meet new people that like the same things as you and eventually make new friendships.
      However, don’t put pressure on yourself to instantly make new friends either because when it feels right, it’s right!
      Friendships should never feel forced or make you feel miserable at all, so major respect to you for recognising the unhealthy patterns & wanting to remove yourself from it. As much as being alone sounds scary, you will see that once you’re doing it more, it’s actually very rewarding.
