Child of Man - You are one of, if not the most advanced creation of Mankind, as you have slaughtered all of hell and fellow machines. Edit: added Machine and my guesses on Child of Man
I love how different his death is from Minos. Minos cries out that he couldn't help his people, but Sisyphus enjoys that fact that he suffered laughing as he dies
In lore he was a Sadistic Tyrant who enjoyed getting tortured. He was such a threat, he forced Gabriel to draw out his swords. And at that point, he was already becoming a Prime Soul. Obvious the Angels were pissed scared, so they trapped him in a greater prison. And even then, he could’ve broken out any time he wanted.
The part before Sisyphus really, REALLY kicked me all over, with the maurices, mindflayers, masses and mirtues making my life not hell, but hell squared. I died more times to those maurices than I would to Minos Prime in my usual violent playthrough. Mind you, I was trying out P-2 on standard of just how scared I was. Then came the Panopticon, killing me 2 times after which Sisyphus decided to burst out. Then I killed him. First try. 31 restarts and none were from him. What.
sussyphus talked a lot, like a lot, which means deadcoinning and coin punching + saws would be really good here. Meanwhile the parts before that is basically just later waves of cybergrind but with a ceiling and walls in which you are thrown multiple fucking mindflayers, a hideous mass, 2 insurrectionists in a single room, 4 fucking cerberus in the first room, and swordsmachines spread like they're seeds being planted in a garden oh and did i not mention the 2 or 3 ferrymens and idol statues?

I really hope Hakita pulls a "no you" on P-3 by making some way to circumvent players setting up insane strats (like deadcoining) while the boss is having their monologue. This boss is hard but it doesn't mean much if there is a way to get it to half hp in the first couple seconds. Some 4th wall break or making the boss realize what the player is doing and just killing them instantly would be really cool for a secret final boss of the game.
I thought the Prison accidently killed himself because of a game bug but NO THE PRIME SOUL GREW IMPAITENT AND JUST PULLS HIMSELF OUT AND ENDS THE FIRST PHASE IMMEDIATELY!
6:03 I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the Idol was still protecting the Hideous Mass. It took me a solid minute of dodging before I attempted to actually hit the thing lol.
the way they coded the boss is simple as "Set player_health 0" but damn this was fun also i find it so fukin funny how they basically got some things from max0r's vids "not gonna lie he's looking a bit SQUARE" (during flesh prison) "he teleports behind you, ect" (during gabriel part 1)
the amount of skill some players have baffles me. I just finished this with 96 retries in just under an hour. Really inspiring to see the skill ceiling a simple game like Ultrakill offers to players who are willing to put the time in
Dude same 😭 It took me about 55mins w about 107 restarts cos of that one room w the 2 invulnerable mindflayers, where as Sisyphus Prime himself, took me about 20 tries or so. I still have so much to learn and improve on and I’m so excited to do so
I didn't even notice him prying open the Panopticon when I first fought him. That's badass I expected to die way more than twice against him, at least compared to the 50+ times I died before fighting him and the Panopticon
What I find personally interesting is that Sisyphus fully recognizes V-1 as a Child of Man, and honestly doesn't care that he was responsible or helped kill Humanity.... He wants a good fight, and by damn was he gonna get one
Jesus fuck this level was so astronomically hard. The sheer amount of enemies in such a closed space is harder than wave 30 cybergrind. That part was harder that the fucking boss itself

fun fact, on the last room before the elevator to get to siysphus where there is a shit tons of enemy, there is a chance you get soft locked by breaking the idol because it takes away the invincibility from the stalker and not the hideous mass. I think it depends on who's closest to the idol, preventable but annoying nonetheless
IMO Order slaps way harder than Sisyphus's theme, and Minos looks awesome while to me Sisyphus just kinda looks goofy. Sisyphus's lines are badass and so is his entrance and character. Also the P-2 level as an entirety goes so hard. Sisyphus has a sicker moveset even if Judgement and Crush are iconic. I really like how the easiest part of the level was Sisyphus. Panopticon is the best character in the game. Cant wait for P-3 Panopticon Prime. Also, you are a gamer god. Edit: ok sisyphus looks pretty cool

When it released i wanted to beat it withnot getting any spoilers, but honestly i just gave up, i know i won't finish it at all.
I beat the level on violent with 153 restarts.

I've gotta say that Minos' theme is way better, but in terms of difficulty and moveset Sisyphus is superior

This whole level was bonkers. The difficulty spear made this all the more fun to play, and Tenebre Rosso Sangue was SO AWESOME to hear in game
