Brothgar, you spend a lot of time in this video straining your and our eyes to see what gases are where. The material view has a option called "gases" which is wonderful for that sort of task.
@Brothgar I noticed you manually checking your gases a lot in this video. I've found that the F4 overlay, set to gasses, is really useful for making sure rooms are full of the right gas. Keep up the good work!
Hey Brothgar, you should grow some mealwood for dreckos (3 mealwoods per drecko). Mealwood increases the chance of glossy drecko egg. After some time you build up some supply of it. I have it this way in my base and I have 3 glossy dreckos all the time and meat from the excess eggs (dont forget to shear them before attack them). And so much plastic, that I dit not produce a single piece of plastic with my dupes. Love your videos!
The wheezewort venturi compression system may be able to have more safeties now that the wall pot has been introduced. You can put the wallpot directly above a door automated to close as the pressure approaches vacuum so you never have the wheezewort back up.
For places like the slickster ranch, couldnt you put a not gate on that gas element detector so it works when it detects everything that's not carbon dioxide making it plump that away?
Not sure if one of the other comments touch on it, but your hydrogen vent cooling steam gen is missing its water return. You are going to have to break back into that area to get it running. Also with the minimal heat that the hydrogen vent puts out (while the temp is high, the mass that gets ejected is low), I would add a liquid radiater loop to that steam gen, and then just leave it hanging for now. Not sure what you would use the extra capacity to cool, maybe liquid O2/H2 later when you have an appropriate coolant. Although it isn't very close to where those will be generated.
@@brothgar oh it depends on the video. If it is one of these playthrough series I watch at 2x speed cause I like how your voice sounds at that speed. If it is a tutorial I watch at 1x speed cause I am more concerned with the information (the reason I said I watch yours at both is because alot of people I can't stand their voice at different speeds, I was noting that yours sounds good on both). Your editing style is very nice, but if you wanted too, I don't think anyone would object to more content in your videos :)
Brothgar... you need to know tamed glossy dreckos only eat meal lice and bristle blossoms. You need to set them up with a hydrogen/carbon dioxide room and farm tiles. Edit: okay you finally did it. I’ve been saying this every video
Adding the auto drop to the tiles like you're doing will eventually backup the dispensers. The game can only handle so many different things in one tile before it just glitches out, so you might want to build another dumping spot and disable your original ones soon. The drop down is too far to see just how much was on one tile, but a whole biome was enough to break the trick.
I tried copy the geyzer setup. When you talked about it it sounded like it would prevent the geyser from entering over pressure. But it does still goes over pressure in my game. I did pump it to a 100% vacume first.
The plastic building thingy produces more heat than anything else in the game, and I think maybe steam. So put it under a turbine and see if it’s more efficient than a petroleum generator.
Dreckos need to eat to produce phosphorite, not their tail. All you have to do is put them in an atmosphere of pure hydrogen. Oh, yeah. I just remembered that while it does increase tail production, it’s not worth it. I keep all my Dreckos wild.
I use gas weight and pressure to remove undesired gas. I make 1 hole in floor or roof depending of the weight of the gas to expulse), i add the gas pressure of the vent to push undesire gas out. No need of pump for vacuum to remove gas, you let the gas go how it should.
@@PashaGamingYT I have badly explain what i want to say sorry. 22:22 Brothgar trying to get rid of a single tile of polluted oxygen. My trick to get rid of this polluted oxygen is to make a hole in the chamber's roof, polluted oxygen escape and you close the hole. Also work with all other gas, I just use the gas weigh and pressure make a hole in roof or floor. No need of vacuum of somesort to try to pull out the undesired gas. You just have to let the gas pressure increase in the room, the 'bad' gas escape then you close the hole.
i use a cool steam vent with a 3 tile high "bucket" around it and the flow stops once it fills. To avoid overheating and pumping i have built my water reservoir below and build ice plates until temp is low then drop vent water into it. I use the area around the vent as my Hydrogen catch which disperses the heat instantly and keeps the steam from spreading
Are you gonna use oil thing for INFINE FREE POWER from the guide with the same name you may seen ( from that dude that make gayser compression system with wheezewort usage)?
This video is from an earlier build of the game when wheezeworts were planted in the decorative planters and didn't require any sort of maintenance. In the current version these mechanics no longer work because they must be planted in a farm tile.
Slicksters consume 33g/second..... That's an equivalent of 16 and 1/2 dupes.... I don't recall you having any coal generators, natural gas generators, Petroleum generators, polymer presses or vents. So that's why it's starving.
If the gas is already at the lowest temperature a wheezewort can manage does it still move the air or is it dependent on them being able to cool the gas? Love the free air pumps from the little coolers though! Great setup!
I still do not understand the idea what automation of refinery metal production do. I have listen it a few times in different clips. Can somebody write in other words. )
why only 8 dupes? i can understand a lot of the reasons to keep a low population. it just takes so long to get stuff done. granted i just started playing again and so much is diffrent. POI, spaceships and much more were not in the game last time i played. were no germs then either.
I bet your travel time is so high because you sweep everything into one spot in the base. So if they ever want to build anything, they have to run all the way back to that one spot. Could you make another one? Or fix that some other way?
Imagine walking into a room so ugly, that it brought even the best of moods to the worst day ever
The dude that makes those tutorials you watch seems to be a very nice and knowledgeable individual. I also constantly watch his tutorials
That canvas was an artwork of “Piet Mondriaan” an Artist from my country, The Netherlands!

Challenge to get it back up.
Yeah. It’s terrible.

totaly agree on mod that breaks decor maximum , must with new skill system.

Aaaaaaa good to see Awaken Online get some higher acknowledgement.
That book series has great plot and character development that really doesn't drag.
You've given me so many good ideas to try out in this game! Thanks for your game series. You're also entertaining. :)
If you want to see the decor, put a duplicant on the spot you want to see the decor value, details then look for decor, below the stress

Low key "lower" in the background made me chuckle.
On my base when the pressure reached around 700kg per tile, I don't know if was a bug but the gas flow back, better keep an eye on

It would be interesting to setup a shine bug/solar panel system and see if it indeed works.

No Longer beneficial :'( weezewort now require fertilizer
Any suggestion on how to compress or cap a nat gas vent?
I'm finding the new way too..

Ok this doesn't break reality as much as infinite power einstein remains still.

Still think door access to the item drop on the left side would save time, rather than going up around and down.
Open would be fine also, but just thinking of the decor not that it is really needed.

It’s natural gas for generators.

your still missing the water outlets on your steam turbines

Is cooling a natrual gas gyser really wheeze-worth it?
Nope. Natural gas geysers say they output at 300F when really, it’s just 100F. I wasted so much steel on machinery thinking that was the case....
GG. Do all the dupes have snazzy suits? I think Leon and Kaiya don't.

The natural gas geysers say they output gas at high temperatures, when in reality, it’s only at about 120 ferrenheit. Idk what that is in C sry.
Anyone ever tell you, you sound like Bob Odenkirk?
Sadly they capped decor gains at 120
