Always bringing new innovative ways to save the members and owners $$$ instead of putting it in the dealer’s pockets ! Good job man, this tool is amazing . Good detailed video. You to a way better job than any dealer , not a single drop of oil on the floor or leaking
Great video. I'm contemplating getting the CTH skid and wanted to see how well worked when doing an oil change. Looks far easier than with the OEM skid.
the fumoto sits higher in the drain pan than the bottom of the pan, so theres like 1/4th inch of oil sitting inside that can't drain out, which usually contains the heavy particles you want OUT. do not use that drain.
It would have been nice if you would actually show us how and where to place the drain tube instead of just explaining. It’s easier from your POV because you’re right there, but we can’t actually see anything other than watching you work from a distance.

Thank you! 🙏🏼

so frustrating toyota couldn't make a 6 inch hole in the stock skid from factory. OH WELL! lol
The cover to drain the oil filter is torqued to 10ftlbs. Oil plug (like you said) 30ftlbs. And filter, 18ftlbs. Great video. Perfect.
You ever used a floor jack on that skid plate to raise the truck? Is that jack point just as strong as the oem skid plate?
Ramps and a creeper also helps a lot.
thank you

Mark, add a Fumoto valve and you'll be GOLDEN!
My only gripe with the fumoto is that it drains slow for me. I like to change my oil fast. 😊
The F133 is much faster than the older version...takes about 7 mins vs 22 mins.
@@anthonyviscusi4042a friend of mine is running the F133 and I still find it slow. 😊
The oil plug is really not the problem. It's the placement and style of the OEM oil filter that is the problem.

How long did it take to ship / receive the skid plate ?

Very good!
Wouldn’t it be easer and faster if you just remove the whole skid plate?
nope
