    Thank you for doing a proper end-to-end demo. A small addition, you might want to mention using a little anti-seize on the bolts. Other than that a perfect video for installing TRD skid plate with KDSS. Thanks again!

    Can you take some shots from the front a little ways back? I'm on the fence between the black or silver and want to see how black looks with the red letters. Thanks!

    Sweeeet! I've been looking for a skid plate to work with my KDSS. Thanks for the awesome vid!

      👍🏼 and if you’re thinking of picking one up from cartrimhome. Use code OFRDADV to save 7%.

      Those support brackets are for the radiator? If so why would you remove them?

    The best skid plate ever! What’s in the 📦 lol 😝 that package 📦 … you like ? Told them to pack it well, because first gens were getting thrown by the shipping company and scratched 😡
    And yea that indentation is for lifting it, like oem.
    And just to not confuse the masses, you have kdss , this model is the KDSS model. style A

    That looks really cool. Have you done an oil change yet? How much space do you have to do the oil filter change through that access plate? Can you do an oil filter change video (or a simulated one), to show us how much room you actually have through that access hole? Thank you.

      I’ll do a video on my next oil change. 👍🏼

      That would be great. Nobody else on TH-cam has done an oil change with one of these skid plates, yours will be the first. Thanks.@@MarkMollat

    Is it okay if you don’t put those bars back?

      Yes, those were for support for the oem skid because they were thin. You don’t need them on aftermarket skids or the yes skids.

    What if you have a diff drop kit and already have spacers on the back

    • @MarkMollat
      @MarkMollat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Sorry unfortunately I can’t comment on that since I’m not running a diff drop.

    Just confirming you do not need the braces after installation.
    Any issues with rubbing with kdss?

    • @MarkMollat
      @MarkMollat  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      That’s correct. You remove the braces. And if you get the kdss model no issues.

    What size lift do you have and are you running a diff drop. I just bought the same skid plate from CTH and I had to use spacers on the rear with longer bolts to get mine to fit.

      If you’re running a diff drop then yes you’ll need that longer bolt with the spacer in the rear. I’m not running a diff drop.

    Is that enough room for the kdss to flex down?

    • @MarkMollat
      @MarkMollat  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. No issues with kdss.
