The last chapter of this game has such a fantastic soundtrack it honestly goes above and beyond any other section of any Mario game for me. The Castle Bleck theme, Champion of Destruction, The Ultimate Show, Promise, Bounding Through Time, there’s just so many it’s hard to keep track.
the after-credit scene hits so hard...we know these characters are entirely fictional, yet we come to get so attached to them we cant help but feel an odd form of bittersweet relief knowing that even thought the dont exist in the traditional sense; Blumiere and Timpani are finally together after all this time. they finally found a place that at last accepts their love and where they can be together forever.

(Sorry if this does not make sense, I'm not a great writer) Update: It is currently August 22nd 2022, and I just want to say that when I wrote this, I was on my second year of highschool, and I am now on my senior year, I have developed quite a lot I would say, super paper Mario, although isn't on my mind anymore, it is still a dear memory to me, I still have my wii and the game, and Everytime I listen to the credits, it always gives me a "We've made it, but it was a long way looking back." Vibe ish, to anyone who discovers this comment I wish you good luck on continuing life, I am currently typing this at 1 am, soon enough if I really remember, I will update you guys in 2 or 3 years, peace.

I remember playing this game in 2012 and i never understand the ending but i 2017 my sister still had the wii and i played the whole match and i never cried so hard over a game this was the best game Nintendo has ever made.
This Paper Mario game needs to sequel where Blumiere and Timpani (In her real form, human form) come back show that they're still alive. But more importantly they came to help Mario, his brother Luigi, his girlfriend Princess Peach and the rest of friends....and Bowser help save the Multiverse again when a new a threat comes not to destroy it but to take it over. Or something else I don't know just bring Blumiere and Timpani back.
I simply can't watch the last minute of this video anymore. It makes me cry, and I'm a 24 year old man. It makes me nostalgic, upset that I grew up... and reminds me of all the emotions I felt playing this game when I did the first time. It was an interesting period of my life when I first played this, very emotionally charged. I can't watch it or hear that song.

There needs to be novelizations of the Paper Mario games. This one in particular can use the black and white images we see here as illustrations for the book.
If SPM were ever remade, i so would get it. I admit that the ending hit me hard like a ton of bricks and shedded a tear, but it is a masterpiece of the mario franchise.
I wish to some day make games, and I have 3 wishes with them: make a fantastic shmup, make an excellent metroidvanias and craft a story the by the end leaves someone feeling things; ending with a bittersweet note that makes me think about almost every day since I beat it, or at least that's how this ending made me feel (or bring someone the amount of joy equal to what I experienced with TTYD)
I think this one had the greatest storyline in any mario game, even better than my number 1 favorite mario game Super Mario 64, but gameplay wise I was never really able to get through it.

While my opinion on Super Paper Mario has diminished over the years. It’s still good game. But not as good as the first two Paper Mario games and I’ll even say Origami King is better. However, I do love the credits theme for Super Paper Mario and the game’s story was pretty solid.
