A guy ghosted me once and I showed him that I was unbothered - I didn’t even bother to text him or even block him 10 days later he came back begging me to meet up with him and begging for my (as he quoted it) ✨ one last reply ✨ so I replied to him 2 days later out of my kindness with a simple “Hey I was busy I didn’t even notice you weren’t texting” and never replied to him ever again. If he gives you red flags and gives you time when it’s just convenient for him, give him your time and that time is called NEVER AGAIN. You a queen not a damn athlete.
Just dont put men in the pedestal. Please dont. If he pulls away, let him be. Dont be clingy. Enjoy your life. Find some other men to date or dont. The bottom line is, just let it be, dont be obsessed with the idea of the two of you. It's okay. Just chill.

What it really boils down to is when you're a grown up( that part is important) you should date mature people who don't play all these stupid games! Then you don't need to wonder what the heck is going on! If being yourself and giving someone your love makes them lose interest in you, they were never interested in YOU to begin with- only the reflection of THEMSELVES they see THROUGH you!

It was like trying to cover a whole in a boat while he was causing another wholes and saying it was all great and we were sailing together. It’s been 3 months since I decided to not ever talk to him again. He tried to ask for my forgiveness 2 weeks ago: not happening. I know how much I have suffered, I was attached, 3 years. I find this a little wrong. I literally know stories where the husband or boyfriend took his girlfriend for granted and totally pulled away from her but when she changed, when she stopped doing everything for him and took her life in her own hands, he literally wanted her again like before. Men want a challenge. People are predators and our feelings are our responsibility not theirs. These days the advice for everything is to break up. It comes from the belief that love is natural and if someone loves you, he will never be away from you and do everything right- just like a romance movie. Totally wrong!

THAT is a good side/angle of this “ignoring them” thing. Cause you’re not doing that on purpose, to hurt them or test a theory. You genuinely have other things to take care of and think about. On this topic the one thing I would contend with is, bc men thrive on insecurity & being the protector and provider, and woman desiring security and closeness, however subconsciously, I think men need at times to pull away. This is true. My boyfriend treated me cold for a week ghosting me...etc...when I asked why I was told I know and he hates it when I pretend. I find this a little wrong. I literally know stories where the husband or boyfriend took his girlfriend for granted and totally pulled away from her but when she changed, when she stopped doing everything for him and took her life in her own hands, he literally wanted her again like before. Men want a challenge. People are predators and our feelings are our responsibility not theirs. These days the advice for everything is to break up. It comes from the belief that love is natural and if someone loves you, he will never be away from you and do everything right- just like a romance movie. Totally wrong!

This is terrific advice, and very well said with illustrations. Too many times people get trapped in this unhealthy cycle thinking it’s because the man is supposed to always want to pursue the woman. I really appreciated this video.

If you find your self having to play games to keep a person, run. However, by having stuff going on in your life, you become naturally “too busy to be needy”, and whoever is with you (or trying to be) will feel that “scarcity” Brian talked about. THAT is a good side/angle of this “ignoring them” thing. Cause you’re not doing that on purpose, to hurt them or test a theory. You genuinely have other things to take care of and think about. So, you won’t reply to their messages in 1 second and you won’t be always available

Brian you are fantastic and I love your advice! On this topic the one thing I would contend with is, bc men thrive on insecurity & being the protector and provider, and woman desiring security and closeness, however subconsciously, I think men need at times to pull away. Whether it's as simple as golfing with his friend, snowmobiling, going to a concert, whatever. It's the self worth of a woman to respect that, that feeds a man's desire, in my experience.

This is true. My boyfriend treated me cold for a week ghosting me...etc...when I asked why I was told I know and he hates it when I pretend. I should think about it and when am ready to talk get back to him. I ignored him after this. After the fourth day he was by my door. Now he is like he was to me 5yrs ago. Surely am not needy. My love should not be taken for granted.

Great advice a guy has been doing this ; I have built him up to be so my type; but , just as you mentioned my gut was saying he is not acting correctly . I think girlfriend experience type. So glad I did not go on holiday with him
