That is good news. Unfortunately I was too late to the party on that one. Nintendo says they will "end this service at a future date" but haven't yet disclosed when. Did they just forget it was still running? 😂
Apology in advance for every annoying comment you get being like “Ermm did you just show your self downloading NES roms lmao?? Ermmmm Nintendo gonna send a cease and desist!!1!11!”
Excellent question! The wii is able to accept up to 32GB, and the minimum is 2GB. I would go for the 32, especially if you plan on downloading lots of Gamecube or Wii backups. Hope this helps!
No the wii can have bigger sd cards than 32gb i have a 128gb in mine and it works flawlessly and I know that other people have bigger cards. but I think 128gb is enough i have about 39 games installed and I still have plenty of space left so but 32 is to small. Just do the math of what you need wii games are 500mb to 7gb per game i think but remember that you also can play gamecube games nativity so those games also take some space and all the emulators and older games that you want 64gb would probably be enough in the start but I think you will quickly grow out of it so i would recommend at least 128gb 256gb if you're planning on downloading a lot of games.
Hey! TH-cam recommended me this video on my feed and its really well presented! Kudos to the work that you're doing 😊 Actually I had some thoughts to share about your youtube channel! but I'm not really sure if it is the best time?
Nice. I'm using the Wii U as my homebrew for this stuff. I've got a 128GB micro sd card put in for the homebrew apps and the Nintendont emulator with GameCube games. I've also got my 1TB external Seagate drive connected with the USB Y-Splitter to house the Wii games. I use a GameCube controller adapter to play the GC games. For Game Boy games I use the Game Boy Player with my GameCube and for N64 I use the real authentic hardware or I play Randomizers on the PC with Project64.
I have one of the MayFlash GC Controller to Wii U and PC USB adapters, it shouldn't be hard to find. For me it is pretty nice. Saves me from having to buy hundreds of dollars of GC games which are $100 plus in Canada. Mario Party alone on the GC costs 100 or more, I've got 4 and 7 with the Mic bundle but 5 and 6 are going to cost me 200+ total. So having Nintendont is really handy especially for playing games you want to play but haven't got the money for them.
Not even on Amazon or Ebay? I got mine for $10 at a pawn shop. You could try your luck there and in any retro game store. There's also the Smash Bros GC adapter but I'm not sure how compatible it will be for the Nintendont emulator.
@@JDGamez15 it's not the actual cost... it's the shipping. Up to $30 for a $10 product sometimes. I don't know why it's so expensive. Looked for them at pawn shops too. Actually saw one on a trip one time, I regret not picking it up.
Hmm... I know this may disappoint many retro zelda fans, but I've gotta go with breath of the wild and its sequel... however the link's awakening original and port are fun as well. In all fairness, I haven't played Twilight Princess or any other Gamecube and N64 zelda game, so I can't really be the judge.
Insane isn't it? I was contacted by a company who wanted me to sponsor them. Great source of revenue. Hopefully you get them too. It came after the success of the wii shop video, so maybe you just need high view counts.
@@TrisGameRoom that's too bad. Me neither. It was that one wii shop video for both of us that hit the jackpot. Then everything kinda stopped. I'm sure everything will get going again. My views were awful before that video.
This video is sponsored by scammers that sell illegal counterfeit software keys that will get banned. It is so nice though to have a tutorial on something the rest of us did a decade ago given by a teenager who informs us that he (and he alone) has built the ULTIMATE (his ALL CAPS) Modded Wii! Sweetie, most Wii Sports-loving Grandma's have better modded Wii's than you.
Great, you again. First and foremost, the sponsor is a legitimate company, not scammers. Want proof? Check trustpilot for over 1000 5-star ratings. They are not counterfeit, they are usually just bought off of companies that don't use them anymore. It's legitimate. If you've already done this, well lucky you. You don't really need this video. I never said that I alone have built a nice modded wii. I just built an awesome retrostation that is essential for anyone new to modding. There are 100 million wiis out there, and chances are tons of them are yet to be modded. So I don't care if you've already done this. I quite love my modded wii, it does everything I wanted it to do. So stop posting useless hate comments that don't actively critique the video in any meaningful wii. Thanks.

i tried to get the home brew channel then it said conection failed at the last step
Connection failed... I've never seen one like that before. I'm not sure what it was trying to connect to. What exploit did you use to install it?
The good thing is that you still today can download games you already own from Wii Shop.
I have a lot of games on my SD card in Wii mode on my Wii U.

Your Wii is a homebrew beast
Thank you!
I don't see any tutorials to get those emulators working in the description
Oh- looks like I forgot to add them- haha oops! I'll get those links working as soon as possible!
Is there any way to get modern apps like TH-cam Netflix max Hulu and all that I would love to make my Wii a legitimate main system
Not currently, no.
u should get a csm theme (a custom theme for your Wii)
You know, I never really liked custom themes. Just didn't like the look, that's all

@@maxct827 you got it lucky then. According to nintendo, they rarely work over 32 gb.
Can you make a video on how to install newer super Mario on wii
I have this idea slated for sometime in the future.
Thank you
Amazing video!
Thanks! What was your favorite part?
@@Everything-Wii i think it was with mkwii because i love that game. Btw i wanted find that emulator what you used but i can't find it
The homebrew Channel is the best app to install because you get play any retro console that you wanted

What tv you using?
In this video? 3 different ones. This was recorded over a month ago and only was edited a couple weeks ago.
Did bro show himself downloading rooms then immediately shout out a sponsor
Ummm... yes?
i was looking closely, and i noticed some stuff
What did you notice?
man i think showing where you download isos from on youtube put your channel at risk of deletion, just saying
Ah I've done it dozens of times, nothing happened. Definitely risky but I'll take it

bro why pay for pirated copies of games? paying someone doesn't magically make it more moral. just torrent them like a normal person

how did u get a sponsor at 1K subs??????????? WHAAAAAAH
