Hello Stu .... I've been "catching" up with your amazing travels. I hope you're writing your memoirs when your journey is over - I'm sure it would be a great read. Very interesting video as always and I hope you enjoyed your drink - you definately deserved one. Cheers until next time - stay safe - Keith from Adelaide.
wow... was worried for you there mate, thought you had become totally undone when you got off that bus. Glad you found somewhere to get your head down. For one the pursuit of the golden M symbol has let you down, shame on them aha.
I was very lucky to get a bus from Brunei to Miri. I’m not sure how to go the other way? I would probably watch the video, get the name of the bus company online and see if there’s a number you could call and ask them?
@@olderbackpacker There is a bus? Hmm, I crossed two weeks ago and once through to the Miri side (We were dropped of at Brunei immigration and walked across) could not get a Grab in 20 minutes of waiting and searching. I asked at the immigration counter and they said there were no buses at immigration. In the end I begged some random guy to give us a lift. He very kindly dropped us off at the Airport in time for our flight.

Keith, you’re back in Adelaide! Hope your trip went well? I wouldn’t have enough paper for my memoirs ha ha
You really do handle unexpected travelling issues cropping up in a most relaxed way. I am a bit more highly strung, I wish i could be more chill.
I just go with the flow and not get too stressed :)

What drink did you get? Any beer in Miri? 😄
Water was the only free drink for me! I was dehydrated :/ But plenty of bars for people who want to party lol
People used to stamp 8 times on the passport to cross from sarawak to sabah if they pass brunei
My passport would run out very quickly, if that happened lol
I’ve just purchased a language translator will see how it works🤣🤣
