    Love that the innovation preventing the tongue from sliding into the shoe. Not all shows have that these days!

      It’s a big timesaver for sure. I’m very lucky that I have a friend that’s a seamstress so she’s able to make those adaptations for me easily. But it’s something that you can get a cobbler to do, or if you have somebody that has a sewing machine that could do it or you could also do it by hand. You just have to make sure that you have a stronger thread so it’s able to hold. I will check, but I’m sure there’s some TH-cam videos on it. Or you could take a look at having some shoes that I already have that set up. Just the little things that make our life a little bit easier with no hand function😊
      I have also adapted some of my zip up sweaters and jackets in a similar way, which I will eventually make a video about.
      Thanks for the feedback! Glad it’s helping🥰💙

      @@QuadLife101 Do you have any feeling or movement in your feet? Just curious!

    • @QuadLife101
      @QuadLife101  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Feeling yes I do. Hard to explain but I can feel the initial touch. So if I ran into a wall I could feel that I hit something, but wouldn't know if I'm still touching it after I've hit it. Hope that makes sense? I also can't feel pain or temperature below my level of injury.
      In terms of motor movement, no I do not have any that I can control. Just spasms that makes my legs move but I can't be controlled them. They’re come from reflexes that lack the inhibition connection coming from the brain connecting down to my legs. Hope this answers your question?

    great method - good for a stretch right? do you were dress shoes? how does that work for you?

      Great little stretching technique, shooting two birds with one stone.😉
      I do, some dressy sandals in the summer going to weddings or dressy events. Otherwise you can pick dress shoes or other foot wear with a hard back, those are easier to slide on. I would wear socks with those type of shoes to protect your skin. I usually adapt shoes with a soft backing with those leather straps to be able to put them on. With footwear with a hard back are easier to slide on usually. If they have laces I would play with the looseness of it to see if you can put them on by yourself so they’re not too tight. A lot of it is trial and error. Hope this helps! 🥰
