The world competition in minnesota is all over and he didn't manage to hit the finals, sadly.

Don't the rules specifically say the maneuver tool has to be placed so the ship is moved on the outside of the curve, not the inside?

I like how the range on the big ships are barely longer than the their own lengths. Imagine a modern day battleship's rear gun that could only reach just in front of it

I thought of a cool game mode for this game. It’s basically a timed mode where one team (empire for example) has more ships then the other side (rebels). Now the side with less ships has to hold out till reinforcements arrive (basically when time is up) they last they win but if all the ships are destroyed by the other team then they lose.
i love these videos but could you guys look into getting a better dice cam? I was thinking something like the DJI Osmo if that can live export or even just a nicer camcorder so its smother?
I suggest listening to this entire series with various Star Wars fight songs playing in the background. It's epic!

12:29 - nope, I don't get it. How can the sight point on the front of the corvette see the sight point on the port side of the Nebulon without crossing the arc?
So im pretty new to this game, but i didn't think the bombers could move and attack on the same turn. Unless the activation makes them able to do that? need to read up on the rules as I thought it was a squardon can either move or attack (unless it says otherwise like han)
As it turns out, yeap the activation makes them attack and move in either order. So i've learned something new..

How does an escort frigate have less health than a light freighter?
There's basically two different scales going on, based on the fact that things have different dice depending on whether they're shooting at ships or squadrons. A TIE for instance will roll three dice against the Falcon but just one against the Frigate, so the hull values reflect that.

It's a line laser, he probably picked it up in a gaming shop where it was sold for exactly this purpose. TBH all you need is a decent laser that you can attach a lens to, google "Line laser lens" just a piece of plastic.

Some of the etiquette stuff the guys were talking about => that's tournament only yeah? For casual games with neighbors we can feel free to pre-measure, click, and unclick? (That said I would be fine with sticking with no-measure rules if it helps speed along play.)

Very well Ben, I believe you. You must admit though, It looks very similar to a laser and it's unfortunate timing to have happened right after you mucked around with the laser..
