Oppps, I'm Dumb. After explaining that crits ignore cover, I then applied cover and lost a crit.

Also, vaders relentless ability let's him do a free attack action after a move. So he can for example do move-move-saberthrow in one go. lewis missed out on that i think when he activated vader (Luke has "charge" which is the same thing really except that it's just a free _melee_ attack, so move-move-melee attack). And lukes "jump 1" let him jump onto(or over) buildings of range one without ANY movement impairment. So he can move over a pretty high terrainpiece at movement 2.
As an aside the reason you thought the light saber throw was a free action on Vader is because Vader has the relentless rule which allows him to perform an attack action for free after moving.

well, there is a campaign for armada called the corellian conflict but it takes a while
I actually am trying to come up with a campaign that combines legion, armada, and rebellion to be close to EAW (RTS thing is obviously lost)
Have a grand strategy of Rebellion but every time there is a space battle, play Armada. But during Armada whenever fighters fight, play x-wing. After that, whenever there is a ground battle, play Legion. A maybe is when you perform certain hero actions, play Imperial Assault.
That would be cool i think some guys did it with battlefleet gothic and warhammer 40k

This game looks real cool, wish i had friends who were interested or knew a place on long island where people gather for table tops. Used to play Warmachine but the place i played at closed, was a shame.

technically the DLT-14 was an MG-34 not an MG-42, but easy mistake. I mean they both did the SAME JOB in the German Wehrmacht.

This just came up in my recommended after watching some Star Wars Armada gameplay and holy shit is that Yogscast Lewis?
I've not played a tabletop game before and this currently seems like the rules of Marshgamon to me. ... I'm really hoping that after a few rounds, this is something I'd start to get the hang of. I'd really like to actually play with my minis for once rather than just painting them up.

DLT-19 and Z-6 special weapon troops don't get exhausted. the HH-12 and the MP-57 do. Otherwise, ERMAHGERD FERNALLY! LERGERN!

MG-34* not MG-42. Although there is another gun in the Star Wars universe that is made from the MG-42

Warhammer paint but you need super glue not plastic cement.
You can use whatever paints strike your fancy mate
The paint will be perfect. For assembly, just use regular superglue.
For next time: the phone camera is horizontally mirrored in some shots.

Ben, y'know that Darth Vaders finest troops he served with had *the* shinest armour. So it wouldn't really make sense for the best to have such a disheveled look. Even the rebels had a cleaning Droid.

Ben, at 21:20 would the Cover 1 from the speeders count even though you rolled all crits?
