The 3dchameleon is an AMS for "ANY" 3d printer. There are videos with it on a K1 from the developer. He is going to introduce the mk4 version at RMRRF.
I am soo glad, this comment is already here - so I don't loose fate in the 3d printing community with all newcomers just being hyped about BL!
And I wanna to add: the 3D Chameleon goes back to like 2021 or further ... and BL obviously were "inspired" by it (without saying, of course!).
The K2 looks alot like an X1c. I wont get burned again by creality. I got the K1 when it first came out and it worked for whole day before choking. I got all the upgrade parts for it from Creality but it still sits idle. My X1c has run non stop since I got it with never a hiccup
hoping that creality releases a 350mm ^3 printer soon
same here junk
Well, X1c is 3 times more expensive so it isn't really even a competitor. That would be A1 from similar price range.
Comparing a 1000 bucks+ printer with one half the price. Very naiv.
If X1C would also have cost like 550 bucks, it would have had the same flaws! Or in other words: If a company puts so much efforts in any printer that it would cost like 1200 bucks than it would also work like the X1C.
I bought a k1 from microcenter 3 weeks ago and it's been running non stop. Haven't had a Single issue with it yet
First time visiting your channel. Good job you are definitely going into my 3D printing rotation. Funny because yesterday I almost ordered a Mini, but now I might wait for the A1 "regular" to come out. Looking for something smaller and easier to do fast prototypes before a full production run in my X1-C.
With creality's track record I can't imagine investing in a high end printer when they will just dump it for the K2 v2 in 6 months when they found more issues or bambu lab comes up with something new.
BL didn't come up with something "new" till now. The "got inspired" by Voron and Klipper, the 3D Chameleon and the Prusa MMU and took the marketing they knew from DJi.
And the secret with new products is always: it doesn't make the "old one" bad at all! A Bambu P1P or X1 isn't bad because P1S and A1 came along.
I will be curious to see if Bamboo Lab shows how to replace the heater bed with new cable. Also to see if it is easy to DIY. It seems that they have two options for people how have the printer. Get the new bed or return the older printer for credit.
Wow Bambu finally used a regular cable for mobile connections instead of cheap crap. Who would have thought that you need to use a cable for moving elements? It would also be useful to have a cable guide, e.g. from IGUS, but it's probably too much to expect from the Chinese.
The new strain relief looks to me like the one I've seen on many household appliances for ages. Why didn't they use that design from the beginning?
Still waiting on my replacement bed
Merci beaucoup pour ces informations ....
I've seen pictures of Anycubic having a multicolour printer out too. But you know, the internet, so no one knows if its true or not.
That one's legit. They've put up teasers on their official social media accounts. Looks like there's a new bedslinger coming with it too.
@@MarkSDD Neat!
Do you have the link to that page to the A 1 please? Ty
Yes, it's Bambu Lab's Instagram page. instagram.com/p/C5QUbpULJZP/?igsh=bGduemtobDNzeG5l
K2 Plus? Lol, exactly why I don't bother with Creality. Almost bought a K1C a couple weeks ago but their business model being "release a half-baked device 4 times per year" is outdated.
K1C and K1 Max/ K2 Plus are two different categories. The build volume alone is very different ... so is the price tag.
@@hassosigbjoernson5738 LOL you've got to be kidding me. Sounds like the trick still works on some people 🤭
So the only certainty about their new product is that it will have growing pains. You would think with all of the printers they have sold that they would learn some lessons and improve. For example input shaping is still wrong on the k1c. The wipe function is useless if the nozzle doesn’t get warm enough to remove filament. The Bowden tube still is inside the cable chain. Just to mention a few. I have a 1 and a 1c and the first prints were things to fix problems that were identified in the pre runs where out. I have 5 Creality printers and enjoy them all, it’s just that none of them were great out of the box.
They're trying to limit the mmu to a higher end machine. My guess, the mmu is either built in or proprietary to that machine. With mmu it will probably be $800 minimum but it screams $1200 to me. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see them making any type of universal mmu, even for other currently selling models as there are so many near or actual replicas of their machines everywhere.
Bamboo is handling their issues like champs. The a1 mini is the solid recommend for sure. I just got a k1 max and have loved the hobby because of creality. Its been printing awesome. I trust they will let me upgrade my k1 max, they're all about the upgrade.

Hello Nice Video Brother Keep It up I have just simple question I’m gonna get started with 3d print hobby but haven’t bought mine yet I’m on gathering info. I’m gonna use 3d print more for figures anime stuff and collections like you in the background of your video. could you recommend me a 3d printer for figures. Btw I can’t use resin it’s has toxin stuff I’m allergic to it so could you recommend filament 3D printer that prints good quality . I’m gonna be just 1 time buyer so I want to buy something good thanks waiting for your feedback 🎉. I’m trusting you more then other print channels 😅
Bamboo x1c high class but golden
Just stumbled across your channel. Great video (clicks the subscribe button)
Thanks!
Creality k2 plus video
K2 is said go to 800m/s
I'm gonna be annoyed if they release that K2 Plus right after I bought a K1 Max 🤦🏼♀️😣
that's unlucky tbh, I dont want somethin like that to happen to me if I get the a1
I did just get one too, but if they let me upgrade to CMS/AMS, ill be happy. its been a wonderful printer.
@@kylestyer8240 yeah, mostly annoyed about the build volume difference if it's accurate. 350mm was the ideal size for my uses but I didn't want to deal with bed slingers or vorons. This sounds like it's exactly what I wanted. Damnit.
@@ThisisDDI feel similar, but if you had to sell it, I don’t think it’d be a huge loss. But I’d be pissed for sure. The new v3 xz is kinda straight sex too. Be a shame for it not to have access. It just doesn’t seem like them.
@@ThisisDD what ya making?
AnkerMake V6 failed and they refunded. That's the only other AMS competitor i know of other than the prusa MMU (is it really an AMS competitor?)
The V6 failed because they tried to cram 6 nozzles in one printhead
Молодцом!
Didn't bambu patent the purge chute seems like creality are gonna get in trouble
I changed my a1 to a p1s and the p1s is not nearly as reliable or good as printing as the a1.
I have the k1 and it's my most reliable and beast of a printer so k2 with a 350x350 with ams/mmu makes bambu lab redundant for me
Did you ever have issues with the K1 in the beginning or did you get one of the upgraded models?
@@FigureFeedback never had any issues with my k1, i got the upgraded hotend and extruder on my unit, i was worried was going to get the broken version but they have upgraded them.
The k1 is awesome and it's a steal at the moment probably because they have the k2 ready to release
$250? where? I see $399
You're looking at the combo with the AMS Lite. The A1 Mini by itself is $250.
its £230 for me in uk. so its was a 50$ cut from the original price.
gonna hold off for the A1 thou.@@FigureFeedback
The A1 uses mains voltage to heat the bed. No fan of that at all. The bed should be multi zone to improve efficiency. Them flashing all the steps they should have done, and didn't do, is also lame. They should not design like this, in the first place.
As for the K2, they also lack any support in any printer for multiple heating zones on their bed. They used mains power for their k1 max, which is insanely inefficient. It just wastes power. Not to mention all the security issues it brings.
There is also a tendency of using way much more power for motors and heatends, on top of that, this higher speed is excessive, resulting in all sorts of extra wear and waste. Balancing the speed for efficiency is what is demanded for the industry to grow. It just ain't happening. The result is a given. In the current landscape, this even holds true for military usage.
The way multi color printing is done for these, is just insanely wasteful. This is unsustainable. It simply needs to be sanctioned by governments, if it ever got real growth. It is a dead horse.
This might easily be flipped on the head, but that is not what we see. That is my take on these. No hallelujah from me on these. Nothing here will fix the issues this industry face, and the lack of needed innovation is appalling.
Don't know if you're new to the 3d printing community but Bambu Lab didn't invent multi material in the consumer 3d printing space!
The 3D Chameleon is around since 2020/ 2021 ... obviously Bambu got "inspired" by this project. *The 4 color MMU from Prusa goes back to 2017* you can even find videos here on TH-cam. *So please, do a better job in research before pretending that "nobody else on the market" hat something or not!*
After them clearly "got inspired" by Klipper, input shaping, Voron 2.4 - without giving them probs or even giving something back to the community, it's very bad if someone completely falls for their good marketing.
I never said Bambu Lab invented anything. What they did do is create a multicolor system that is easy and convenient to operate for the average consumer. The reality is they're doing it better than anyone right now from an operational and marketing standpoint.
When I bought k1 I made a big mistake. It's a pile of scrap with a bed that keeps changing position. VFA and ghosting are driving me crazy. Only speeds of 80 enable relatively correct printing. And what about the support?? He doesn't give a damn!! There will be a new printer for new suckers!! There are hundreds of people like me made into balloons. I have just sold this scrap and am waiting for A1.
