What type of computer is needed for fusion 360 looking at the requirements seems like it takes a thousand dollar laptop to run that software

Nice work! Congrats! Also have a Yeswelder and planned on using it for CNC. Was trying to figure out how to use it with a torch height controller, I guess there needs to be a voltage regulator in place to lower the voltage so a board can read it. Have you looked into using a THC and z-axis with the yeswelder at all? Thanks for the awesome info!

Thanks! No, I haven't looked into a THC at all. Having one would definitely save time over setting height manually.

I had the same problem with the motor plate sizing . The longer one was fine but the top smaller one was too small. I just drew one using the measurments on the sheet . I have the whole basic machine done. Nw its time to do the wiring, which im not TOO concerned about . Then the flashing and programming which i AM concerned about my ability to do. I have people around me who are more familiar then i am so , hopefully, they can do this for me.

Not sure why it printed that way. The wiring schematics were perfect. Everything worked as drawn. I kind of stumbled my way through the firmware install. I have enjoyed the whole process/challenges, though.

If you ever build another one or decide to modify this one again you do not need the support bracket for the cross beam as with the double slide setup you are using it is not a cantilever. You can then also use the same type of slide as the other 2 instead of making a different style.

My first thought was, "sure, those are easy to find", then I found like seven within an hour's drive. So, thank you for the information.

Nice video, fine machine. I want to be able to cut metal parts but although I am older than you I have never hold torch in my hand so I decided to make CNC cutter th-cam.com/video/yzTg5Sby9wA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=fC5M2SNx53AbVoZo about month ago. I am stuck with making torch holder thinking what kind it should be maybe magnetic. I spent almost 800€ but I still have not working cutter. Do you have any advice for coating water pan and what kind of color should I use? I like your videos, keep doing a good job.

With your torch height control, I would just make sure your holder is sturdy and easy to set your torch square to the material it's cutting. I struggle a little keeping my torch square and my cuts have an angle to them. You can paint your pan with regular spray paint. Don't bother painting your cross pieces, as those just get burned up anyway. I like your drain on your pan. That's a nice touch.

@@rustedroostershop I will use torch on the machine I made, and I think that this is sturdy enough. My thoughts: when it is sturdy for 2.2KW spindle, maybe it will be good enough for torch th-cam.com/video/gF1Z5xWOLro/w-d-xo.htmlsi=IU5eZ5bS9HVBobic For water pan I made 2 long pieces I weld to pan, and they are 30mm below cross bow pieces, lower. This bow like pieces are removable and I will not paint them. I found nitro based paint, and it is written that it is for 600 degrees Celsius. I read that plasma torch has 26000 degrees. Sorry for asking dumb questions, I got plasma recently, and I just cut a few lines by hand just to try it, so I have not any experience with all this and that is why I want to put it on machine.
