I think it's just Engineers in general mate. When it comes to working with parts, you don't mince your words. We British have a reputation for fannying around or underplaying words, but the engineers I know will be blunter than a sledgehammer.

Kurtis, over the years the companies that I have worked for have called on forklift fixing companies. They are scam artists. I for one am glad to see an artist like yourself back on the tools.
@@davidbeetham4891 I agree, it’s like they are all looking for a quick fix. Nobody (except Kurtis) wants to do a good and thorough investigation into the problem and thus do a proper job . It’s like productivity has been turned on its head because there is so much workload to be done per day but not many are doing the right things, in fact companies are instructing their engineers not to spend alot of ‘valuable’ time on jobs. It’s sad to see because it can undermine a good repair man’s abilities and put people out of work. Full circle.😞
What I like most about these videos is that you can not only fix every problem, you also improve on the design with the silicon bronze on the piston in this case. The fixed part will now probably last longer than any replacement would. Great work Kurtis and Karen!
