Sega's answer to Chase H.Q., Battle Out Run does precious little to differentiate itself from Taito's Master System offering. The game design is identical, and the only thing that's different is the colour of the car.
If I'm honest, Chase H.Q. is actually a better Master System game than Battle Out Run, with better controls and more polish.

This has much better music and graphics than Chase HQ on the SMS, but that game plays better... it's difficult

Decent enough game although I think it needed a bit more variety to the game play. Some different cars or some undulations.
It's OK, but the Master System version of Chase HQ is a lot more fun :)

Trackside objects in a racing game, who needs 'em, eh Sega? No wonder the game runs to smoothly, it has relatively little to do.
Have you seen the original OutRun on SMS? Is runs like crap and has even less going on!
