    He said that 12 volts are supplied to the motor, and you can adjust the purity and the needle flight, which will always give stable power with any application technique.

  • @1Dantrn
    @1Dantrn 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +5

    I love the v2. I just recently went to using standard needle bars on it for lining. It's better than the Kubins imo. No ink splatter. No fiddling with settings. It's motor is really nice. Runs really low. Like 2-3v low. Doesn't hit as hard as you'd think though. Maybe it's the skin response thing. And it has a spring under the armature bar to help pull out the needle. But I run it on 5.5mm stroke and I still push harder than I'd push with the Valhalla at 4.2mm. There are notches to tell where your setting is but I believe the notches must be aluminum. The screw that moves from notch to notch does wear them out over the years. It's also nearly impossible to just look at the side and see what you're set on because the screw and washers are in the way. The v2 is incredibly quiet with almost no vibration at all. Without a grip I think this one is 120 something grams. They have to be weighing the v3 without a battery. That just looks back heavy. And ya they're price gouging that one a bit. Probably all of those restrictions we've put on Russia. They gotta get their money some way. Think I'll stick with the v2. Would also say standard needles perform better than cartridges. But I felt that same way with Kubins.

    • @adamdarklord
      @adamdarklord  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Damn now I’m really curious on how this feels 😂
      I think I read somewhere that they recently moved out of Russia and then all their prices on all machines went up a lot. At this price you should be able to pick any grip, get a case, 3 extra batteries, a charger cable and a Vlad Blad branded charger dock and different sized battery caps at the very least.
      I almost never bitch about the cost of machines this just seems off by a lot

      @@adamdarklord I was that way with the ultron 3 too. They just want too much money for them. They make nice machines but they're not any better than any other top company. Definitely not on par with something like the Acus. They price it like they've rebuilt the wheel. It looks to me like a built in battery on a v2. Hell my v2 runs just fine on a battery pack. The mechanics and style of rotary isn't anything new. Dan has been building his Kubin machines for as long as I can remember. They throw some fancy terms on like skin response and pretend like it's something revolutionary. When in practice it doesn't really seem to do anything. I'm sure it's a nice machine. I haven't seen anything from vlad blad that wasn't. But worth that much money for the machine a box and some packing foam, I don't think so. I'll shoot you some videos of the v2 since that's obviously going to be the closest comparison.

    Man, until two days ago I was planing to order torque 3,5.(also have exo 4.0 for daily driver) After I watched this video of yours, I ordered Avenger 3 pro+32mm clicklock.
    Also I would like to mention that as you know powerbolts of fk doesn’t hold the juice while in stand by mode. And as soon as you hardshut it off, you need to plug cable to power on it. This is the only way and I don’t like it.
    So I asked vladbladirons if the avenger can hold its battery percentage like wand and torque and they said it will be completely ok.

    • @adamdarklord
      @adamdarklord  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yeah the fk battery’s piss me off I complain about them as much as I can lol
      I was thinking the same thing that the avenger might drain to empty without use but I believe the FK battery drains because the Egive mode constantly scanning for needle on skin pressure 🤷‍♂️

    • @lmalittleteapot
      @lmalittleteapot 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@adamdarklordWhen I initially decided to get Exo, I thought it was a powerful machine, and I, being an inexperienced artist, believed the Egive feature would assist me with smaller needle groups. However, upon purchasing the device, despite all the advertisements about Egive, I observed how nonsensically it actually functioned. Now, I can say that I've learned to work with the right technique in the right area. But this wasn't due to the machine softening itself; it was because I learned how to work with a robust machine. I don't think I'll buy another machine from FK after selling Exo.
      Now fingers crossed about this beauty. It’ll be delivered to me on mid-December. Can’t wait to have it.

    as soon as i saw that the battery can be removed i was all in, i just wish they can somehow implement something where you can control the tourque? slightly so when you have the machine at 3.5 or 3.2 you can lower the tourque so you have a softer hitting machine to build layers. kinda like the acus m1 :O
