      So question have you tried Oleg idea of removing the spring underneath the bar? And if you did.. did you notice any increase of how it hits?..

    • @Tattoobart147
      @Tattoobart147  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @04jimaica yes i took out the spring because i use it with carts. It definatly hits harder nog that the spring is removed. But i have to use it a bit more on different kind of tattoos and different needles to really give the correct answer. But as of now i do think it hits a lot harder without the spring

    Great video. The machine may perform better with a traditional power supply

      I am pretty sure. The amperage output on the batteries are usually lower as well.

    This machine is great with the ink claw phoenix grip, which goes down to 3v. That grip is way more expensive, but I feel like it's worth it, especially with the added weight it gives. Much better for lining and packing.

      I feel that for linework it is way more efficient than a pen machine. But keep your eyes peeled on the channel. I have a similar style machine from a different brand which is amazing too!

    To choose between this one, and the camera X2 on the overall basis without the dust stroke on this defender, which one we think is better

    • @Tattoobart147
      @Tattoobart147  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think they are both 2 different machines. The x2 is a pen style machine with a fixed stroke. So its hard to compare

      @@Tattoobart147 I’m sorry I was text talking the camer ex2 I also have that in the same one u reviewed and I also had to to some things to make it work better then it did when I initially got it I been looking at this defender for awhile also. But have t seen anyone review it or anything really on it I would like to use it with the ambition grip but do u think it is worth the money since u also used it with the battery grip?

    • @Tattoobart147
      @Tattoobart147  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @DanielPutman_tattoos ooh you mean the ex 2 thats kind of like a side winder. I think if you want to use it with a wireless grip and cartridges the defender is probably a better option than the ex2 because it not running with metal springs.

      @@Tattoobart147 ok thanks I’ll give the defender a try then. I’m going too eventually posting videos of me doing tattoos and reviewing the current t machine I do have don’t have anything good to review yet nor do I have a decent camera and stand to get started
      But I would love to try to get some type of company’s send me things to review I’m sure that would be a good experience to see the difference between all the types of machines and cartridges they have n get a feel of what is best for me I do wanna order the dk v7 clone and see how that it that is probably very similar to the ex2 probably right. It kinda looks a lil better built tbh on my ex2 just doesn’t hit hard enough for me at least

    I think its because of the Torque. This Machines are build that way, so the longer the stroke, the lower the Torque. Its because of that Long adjustable bar in the machine, the nearer you get to the center of rotation, the weaker ist the Torque. Its Like swinging a broom while Just Holding it at the tip. Of course its harder to move it Up and down, as if you grab it lower. Simple physics.
    But you can fix it a bit, by removing that spring under that bar. I think its Not meant to be there If you using cartridges. Its there for keeping the needle in the tube If the machine is off. But If you use cartridges, its unnecessary Because of the membrane, that removes the needle by itself.

    • @Tattoobart147
      @Tattoobart147  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Thanks for your info, i will see if i can do that. You mean the spring that in between the frame and armature bar right?

    • @olegbarth928
      @olegbarth928 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yes thats the spring i was talking about. Its the Return spring for needles without cartridges. With cartridges its Double that harder for the Motor to fight against the membrane, the spring and the skin. Im sure you will feel a big difference.😊

      Ur right m8 😜 sidewinder machines act just like that and for working with cartriges u'll have to take off that spring or bring a ruber band arround the armature bar to pull 😉

    • @Tattoobart147
      @Tattoobart147  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I think its a little bit to early to say. I need to test this machine some more to really give the right answer. But the torped itself is a bit cheaper than this one. But i am more trying to to see if this machines gives a bit more of that coil or sidewinder feel rather than a pen style feeling

      There ist nearly nothing to Change or do, what isn't already build and sold Like that on amazon or AliExpress.
      And to answer your question about the best cheap machine: It doesn't matter, because there ist no best maschine any more. There are Just two kinds of Machines. The one, that you like and work best with and all the other machines, that you dont like. Everything else is depending on the way you work.
