Stayed a number of times and never had picture quality issues on tv. My only complaint would be the tv channel selection. It’s not great but people keep telling me you don’t go to Pattaya for the tv! I like hotel because of it’s location and despite this rooms well sound proofed.
Hi Besty. Fab location at an affordable rate. And room wise it is fab too.....we will certainly be looking into staying here next time and I like the bedroom mirror aspect too. 😋😋🤪🤪
Eggs Benedict looked nothing like that when i had it at the beer garden (which was nice) 🤦♂️looked yummy ..But it's a five star so ......The mirror would put me off unless ..i wasn't wearing my socks 🤷♂️what..Cheers Besty on the info
Good review. I too stayed there in March and booked on black Friday with 40% off through Accor. Good value 4 star hotel and excellent location. Can use a few improvements and it will be exceptional. Your right about the staff. Top Quality. Also had the same problem with the power socket. Really silly. If it was just on top of the desk rather than sunk in, it would not be a problem. Anyway I just got an adapter from front desk. Problem solved. Breakfast as you say is better than it looks as you can order like al a carte and then help yourself. And in case anyone is wondering, there is bacon. Cheers.
@@BigFatBesty Ahh! I am near BKK and I am planning on a short trip. Things are starting to open up but having a hotel with a beer garden open to all seemed odd! That clears that up. I will probably hop on my motorcycle and head for a nice area with resorts and get a place you can have a beer near a pool. A lot would like a chance to something like it. Hope you are well. See you in Thailand sometime soon.
great vlog mate. but i dislike the lay out of the room and the fact that the bed has edges on both sides also the sitting sofa does look very tatty and uncomfy.
The official star rating of the baraquda is 5. As far as I'm aware all of the M Gallery by Sofitel hotels are rated as 5 stars otherwise Accor would put them in a lower brand such as Mercure or Novotel.

Eventually it will and if people have plans to visit later on this year or next year then now is a good time to put in a refundable hotel booking whilst the prices are so low.

Is that the Same company as aquai hotel soi honey I stayed in that hotel many times nice staff aquai too...and is that hotel quiet...I spoke to you at amber hotel before and gave you a 👍at pook plaza well a shout you was walking past that night.
Hi JJ. The baraquda is operated by the Accor Hotel group who are one of the biggest hotel groups in the world. French I believe. They have bajillions of different brands such as Mercure, ibis, novotel, sofitel, pullman etc... As far as I can tell the Acqua is an independent hotel. It's website doesn't seem to link to any other hotels or have a group loyalty scheme. The Amber (which I still think is the best value in town) is part of the atmind group which is a small hotel chain who have 5 properties in pattaya and one in Bangkok (also called Amber).
