The problem in GT S and 7 is the lack of sense of speed in 3 person camera, the unrealistic steering wheel turn angle (you turn at full angle 180º per side, real cars and others simulators is 270º), and heavily smoothed steering wheel, giving impression that what happen in the wheel don't reflect in the steering wheel and you can't disable understeer assistance atless in joystick
Gt7 is more sim then project cars 3
GT7 is closer to real life than PC3. Only problem with GT7 is that it has no sense of speed, unfortunately

..because PC3 is more Horizon inspired arcade and graphically simplified.
For me PC2 is till day the best Sim(cade)
with awsome detailed car sounds,
satisfying sense of speed and gameplay, damage modells, best rainy weather effects in & outside, dynamic weather even snowfall,
high details everywhere, some legend cars never made it to GranTurismo,
and most reallife licensed racing tracks ever in a racing game .

The physics of gran turismo 7 are nothing comparable to those of project cars 2 and I would even say they are on par with forza motorsport 7 and project cars 3. Also don't get carried away by other opinions, project cars 3 is a great game and a complete (simcade) just adapted in such a way that people who play on controller could enjoy that game.

The reason why GT 7 car physics is odd because the deal with FIA and manufacturers property.
Nothing to do with physic only crash physic is not realistic due to manufacture
@@olavofernandes7286 That has nothing to do, in fact manufacturers don't tell you not to crash their cars in the games.
Yeah. They want to have a very high fidelty models (a big part of what makes GT GT) and modeling what behind the bumpers, the lights, how they are attached together and so will be very time and ressources consuming. I thinks that's why there wasn't inboard view before. The car couldn't flip upsidedown too.
@@anthonyandriatsimba7086 that's a shame. They could've at least give the cars a crumpled texture if they don't want us to see what's inside the body panels. Crashing is part of reality after all so GT should simulate it properly.
I expect racing simulators (even when GT7 isn't a true sim) to not have great damage models because the players playing these games want to race, not to crash onto each other. It's contradicting to want clean racing but at the same time wanting great damage models, because racing cleanly already tries to minimize contacts and mishaps, in which you probably will not be able to witness the damaged cars that much in your races. If you're creating a game that attracts rammers, then yeah, focus on damage models because that's what you'll see all the time.

May be an unpopular opinion but I think Project Cars has superior physics and feel. I have both GT7 and Project Cars and gravitate much more to Project Cars (2 and 3) because it’s more immersive and realistic to me…playing with G29 wheel anyway. Can’t wait for the next Project Cars on the PS5.

@@markomarko3450 you’re entitled to your opinion but not many sim racing fans consider GT7 (or any GT game) a true sim. They’re more simcade games. As far as consoles go right now it’s Project Cars 2, Assetto Corsa, and AC Competizone. PC there’s a few more options in addition to those but GT7 is not among them.

El sonido es bueno wn ambos juegos pero de un tiempo para acá se a descuidado ese aspecto los juegos de generaciones anteriores anteriores tenían más efectos que parecen relevantes paro a la hora de jugar hacen más real el juego por ejemplo cuando uno pasaba por una tribuna se escuchaba el público gritar eso le de emocion al juego en estos juegos de ahora se ve gente en la tribuna pero todos callados sin dejar de lado que lo más importante es la jugabilidad pero son detalles importantes
Am i the only (other) one who still plays Project Cars 3?
I stopped it after having 241 hours. Tried 5 times to get in some community racing with maybe some conpetition league going on but it was impossible due to player amount.
Every single "SiMrAcInG" player spat on it and killed game imo.
I still have it installed though

It's the problem of SMS branding the game as a sequel to PC2 that caused sim racers to react negatively. If they name the game to something else, it wouldn't have any problem because the fanbase would know it will be a spin-off to the series. A game title reflects the expectations of the fanbase towards the game, so having it named properly is important, especially when you are making something entirely different from what the series is known for, like moving from simulator to arcade or vice versa. A great example of a spin-off named properly is GT: Sport.
I also enjoyed playing PC3 because I'm not a fan of Project Cars myself. But the thing is, you don't attract new people by taking out your own existing fanbase, and that's what PC3 is doing.

Gran Turismo 7 doesn't even need to compare other racing games because they all humiliate this "New" Gran Turismo 7 even look The damage it did to the car in Project Cars 3, and in Gran Turismo 7, did absolutely no dent and a shameful call this game a "letter to motorsport"In the sense that it uses the same engine as Gran Turismo 5 and doesn't respect its franchise by putting crude minigames honestly if anyone can't understand that this game is a shame anyone who doesn't see it is deluded.

@UCn2dwcvorLP-430x4Dj43uA nah, nah it's still not a fully fledged simulator and that's fine lol no need to defend it and act like it's not what it is.. the game is realistic but still accessible enough to hook in many age groups both casual and hardcore.., fully fledged sims tho, is a bit more brutal and won't bring in that many player like GT or FM series. It's not about understeer (and yes i too have driven cars) it's more about the speed catching you off guard on every corner because we lost sense of many stimulus, thus frequent understeer.

But I say more, if it was a Ubisoft and multiplatform game, it would have a maximum of 78 on metacritic. Ngl, GT has COMPLETELY lost a fan. Last game I played was 4, because they said wed have damage. Never got it.....ooowee, glass shattered... thrn 5... then 6. Then sport... and still looks crisp'n clean..but looks awfully arcade like and handles funny as hell.
Pretty disappointed because i ignorantly bought Sport. Then bought 7 and just disappointed. Id rather spend $160 on a used xbox and Forza, than digital version of GT7 with their bs dlc package

Project cars 3's skyline has a different vibe to it, it sounds like it's heavily tuned w the turbo spool of its which I kinda like, gran tursimo 7 makes you start from the very stock to all the way to tuning which also has a good vibe but I wish they'd step up on the crash physics more, ik this is 80% the same engine as gran turismo sport but hopefully it'll happen.
Chances are it's not happening at least not in this generation. Few reasons,
1. Licensing for the cars, some manufacturers prefer to not have their car badly damaged apparently.
2. Polyphony clearly opted to go with spending the polygon budget on the details of the car instead of the crash model. The game is already very large.
3. Polyphony is efinitely more focused in making the car look good in perfect condition (basically reason 2 but simplified :)

i wish game developers would start trying to make realistic crash damage and physics and deformable tire walls that stop your car when you hit them. it could actually be kinda pleasant when you crash out of a race
The damage physics could all rely on the manufactures of vehicles not wanting their cars to heavily damaged in a video game for some reason

@@didickcheeseburger I think it’s true. I know Ferrari used to care but probably not as much anymore. It’s probably also how Polyphony gets deals with companies and manufacturers like Toyota exclusive to their game with contracts. Toyota coming back to Forza and other racing titles was a huge thing after that bit of some Toyota UK representative saying he doesn’t want their cars in games that promote illegal street racing. But as someone else mentioned, crash damage in a game like GT doesn’t make sense because they want you to race not deal with crashes. A game that knows you’ll be crashing on purpose will put in damage, but a game that discourages won’t. If GT ever does add crash damage, I’m sure it’ll be penalized way more than other games do it. Like a huge crash can just end a race for you, or you get penalties for contact. Things that make more sense in racing, not a crash damage model for the sake of visuals
Project cars 3 is the fastest feeling racing game cuz the map around you moves a bit faster than you are so it feels like your going 100kph when your at 70

I stopped playing Gran Turismo for all these details. There is no realism and accurate representation. Wrong car specs, slow animation of the driver, no feeling of speed, etc...

I am a PC gamer and do have Project cars 3. I would prefer GT7 vehicle physics and handling over PC3's drifting style. I think the person who designed PC3 was a Drifter and should go back to doing only Drifting type games. Ridiculous that a game is this bad.
Now the lower the car categories the better they seem to feel, but they are still terrible.
Who cares about graphic details if the car does not drive correctly. PC3 is definitely an Arcade game and really not a fun game to do anything with.
