Buy Me A Coffee is a great way for anyone, anywhere in the world, to contribute to the channel, and future videos, or if you just want to buy me a coffee, tea, pork pie, or chicken vindaloo. Cheers buymeacoffee.com/countryhousegent
I agree it’s a good thing to you folks provide ing a ton of information and fun chillin time. Kevin where is the last part of at in Scotland. Vote for fishing boat please.
Thanks Kevin, for this beautiful leg of the adventure, what a lovely place to chug around in your old wooden trawler with a beautiful blond haired blue eyed cabin crew. Take care and all the best. Stevie
Those winding roads are amazing, and it's like a new oil painting around every turn. Good job catching the other BMW, nice rides. Thanks for taking us along!
Thank you Kevin. Yes, I would most certainly be interested in watching you navigate coastal waters in an old fishing trawler. Acquiring and preparing that trawler could be a show alone.
Kevin! I have been out of your loop since the onslaught of Hurricane Helene, which tore trough my part of South Carolina, in the US, on September 27th. I was without electricity for 11 days, and lived without internet for 40 days! Internet was restored this week, and I will pour a large glass of wine and catch up on the too-many weeks of your channel that I have missed! So good to see your adventure again! Cheers!
Hi Jeanne. I had no idea the hurricanes were still causing havoc and mayhem in the US. Crazy times indeed but based on my own experience, a relief to get back some basic necessities such as electric and internet. 🙂
So glad you djd the Achiltbuie road, driven along there several times. Lochinver used to have a famous pie shop but not been for several years so might not still be there
5:03 PM , Saturday, Las Cruces, New Mexico. Oh, Kevin! What an absolutely glorious ride today! And, yes. I'd love to travel with you (if only vicariously) on a fishing boat. Or just about any other form of transportation. Your journeys are a true delight. Always.
Kevin! In my umble estimation the present journey is the one you ooohed and ahhhed over the least but to me is the prettiest patch you have done to date. 9x. I dig those trees! But to the question of fishing boat. Kev, you don't fish. So, here's my offer. When you get that yachit, invite wife V and me over there (I'll pay for the passport and you pay the passage) and while she watches I'll teach you how to fish! All the bass, carp, catfish and crappie you can possibly do anything with! Clean 'em up, and cook 'em right on the boat! Wow!!!
Love these Kevin, it gets better and better. Great content, love all the conversations with the sheep, ducks, dogs etc. Maybe a compilation of weird conversations in the future. I watch a lot of your stuff on the telly and it’s a bit of a pain to hit the “like” button, Q. Do I need to go back through all the content on the iPad to add missed likes? Is it beneficial for you? I’ve still got series 10 to watch and I keep checking out some of the older stuff, always find a bit more to watch. I think a coastal travel series will be another great addition. Thank you for it all. Humour, engineering, sheep talk and everything. 👍 Mike
Hi Kevin, That would have to be the prettiest, most interesting ride you have taken us on so far. The mountains and lochs, plus the leafy stretches of road were beautiful. Thoroughly enjoyed watching it. Pity about the gorse though, only redeeming feature of gorse is its coconut smell! Not sure about the fishing boat, but if it was just coastal it could be quite interesting, discovering little coastal fishing towns with not too many tourists. Thank you Kevin for this episode, looking forward to next week’s one. 😀
Such a diverse landscape- love the constant view of the water. So clear and perfect. A bit lonely looking at times. Definitely get a fishing boat! I’m still working on getting a cabin cruiser. 😅
For me, the view from your bike speeding along the road proves quite dizzying. I don't know why it affects me this way. The scenery in this video is stunning, the mountains, water, and gorse. And so few people! 😮
Hey! Hey! It's Friday! Thank you for another beautiful ride. It has been a disappointing and tough week for me here in the US arena. So this was a good distraction. -Cheers from Seattle!
The Wanderlust is strong in our CHG! 😎 Since we're putting in our two cents, I will say that I do not want to see you in any danger at sea. That said, I'm on for the ride if you get your dream boat or do "City Bussing Through Luton." 🤣
Travels by fishing boat series would be stupendous. Go for it Kevin and this time next year you’ll have thousands upon thousands more subscribers. Diolch unwaith eto.
I once had a Yamaha 200cc twin with twin carbs and it wasn't as good as your bike on MPG's, I was lucky to get 40mpg out of it, It had a real thirst!!!. The best bike I had was a Norton ES2, 500cc single, that was many many moons ago. I wish I had it now.
This video was wonderful. Scotland is definitely God's country! I can't believe we're on our way to the Shetlands. I heard it's an introverts' dream. Yay! Safe travels 😊
Another beautiful share. TH-cam has been really good, most of the time, bringing up your videos. When it comes to fishing and boating around. If it brings you joy, most definitely.
I remember being in Ullapool a million years ago looking outward to varying shades of grey hills as far as the eye could see getting paler and paler into the distance. Quite an experience. I am really enjoying your travels and haven’t you got great weather? You must have pleased the weather gods.
Fishing boat is the greatest idea, Kevin! The motorcycle trip is so inspiring, cannot wait till tomorrow morning to hit the road, on four, not on two though, still wohoo to a new road trip!
Have a fabulous trip. Yes that feeling when you're all loaded up and setting off. Only equalled by setting off each morning early, just as the area is waking up. 🙂
I'd definitely encourage you to embrace your fishing boat dreams regardless of the TH-cam channel. You've got freedom and and (relative to me!) youth on your side.
Hey Kevin loving your camera work on your Scottish road trip. Buying that fishing boat is a big yes…we just returned from the Isle of Bute, your right Scotland is another planet! Slanted Mhath! Grant and Eleanor British Columbia.
I think this landscape reminds me most of is from Arizona up into the great plains of South Dakota in the Black Hills area. Arizona, Utah, Wyoming, Montana, and South Dakota.
Another great vlog Kevin, absolutely beautiful, l have been loving the sound of your BMW bike in the series, so just bought a Z4, now fancy a trip up to the Scottish Isles and getting the roof down 😁
Wow, that scenery was pure gold. You've decided us: next May it's not island hopping but it's Assynt for us, climbing Stac Polly etc. Also, when you got round that right hand turn (signed straight on for Achiltibuie) you actually identified a view I'd been puzzling over. I did a picture of it from a photo by Murray Wilkie (YT Scotland's Mountains) and couldn't locate it for the life of me, so just called it "Assynt." Now I know exactly where it was taken from. Thanks.
Hi Kevin, I would not bother with the boat idea, It would be too reliant on the weather, I know someone who was sailing around the coast of Britain , Met him at Kinlochbervie in the bar last may, he was youtubing it, Had to stop for a number of weeks due to bad weather. By the way good luck with finding that 5ft 2in blue eyed blonde, you never know. 😂 Dave and Elaine.
Hi kev Just binge watched all of your motorcycle content, loved every minute. You've come along way from the selling the camper and having your first cheese on toast on aslan . Happy days mate hope you're well 👍
Have you seen this Series? It’s called “Wild Ireland” with Colin Stafford-Johnson. He rows a Wooden boat along the coast of Ireland. 😊 Maybe you can sail your fishing boat around the UK? You could call it trolling the UK. 😂
Yet another fantastic video with great views, as for the fishing boat go for it Kevin, but get one with sleeping accommodation on board, it would make for great watching, are you giving a review on the black puddings ? .
Agreed Derek, the boat will have to have a 'captains quarters'. The Stornoway black pudding test will be when I'm camped at Durness. Followed by Orkney and Shetland's offerings later.
I haven't a thing except time invested in this latest triumph so my thought may not be admired....and yet, I must speak (type) out. I must! Especially after the latest iteration I have a NEW NAME suggestion for this admirable series...... wait for it....OK.... MOST FAMOUSEST SHEEP PATHS OF SCOTLAND WITH KEVIN. How do you like it?
another great vlog - stunning views and we are like two peas in a pod - we have had adventures on road trips around the uk, currently fitting out our narrowboat to cruise inland then would love to circumnavigate the uk in a fisher 34 motorsailer
Some of those mountains certainly look like volcanic cones, but I searched around a bit, "ullapool geology" and such, and it seems they aren't. Ice age glaciers carved them perhaps?
Beautiful sunny day for riding, Kevin wanted to ask do use a conditioner on your jacket to keep the leather supple? I had my first jacket for 30 years and then it shrunk! Haha I’m kidding, I started growing again side ways 😂. Thanks for the ride, Charlie from Pennsylvania 😊
You have "itchy feet" to be sure. I would forgo actually buying a fishing boat(yes, I know, it is a "pipe dream") but I am certain that you might be able to hire one or (worse) sign up as a "working guest"! Hell, you might just learn how to prepare your own fish (from flopping about to fried) for fish and chips! Been on a Great Lakes fishing boat years ago as a lad. The water was a bit rough but I seem to have a cast iron stomach and no tendency to motion sickness. My two older brothers were there as well and NOT so fortunate!
The stunning view at around 16 min is Stac Pollaidh on the left, Cul Beag behind and part of the Ben More Coigach massif towards the right. Later on there are viws of Suilven (around 18:48).
Buy Me A Coffee is a great way for anyone, anywhere in the world, to contribute to the channel, and future videos, or if you just want to buy me a coffee, tea, pork pie, or chicken vindaloo. Cheers buymeacoffee.com/countryhousegent

Buymeacoffee doesn’t have an easy way to convert to pounds but I’ll figure it out eventually 😢
Thanks for stopping by that beautiful mountainous silhouette scenery and the tidal lake. There are views one just has to stop and admire on this isle.
Concur. This episode is especially nice.
Thank you Kevin. Yes, I would most certainly be interested in watching you navigate coastal waters in an old fishing trawler. Acquiring and preparing that trawler could be a show alone.
29:27 always fancied going to Lochinver, looking forward to Part Twenty Four

Just... absolutely, positively stunning, those views! Wow.
Kevin helps us slow down.
Not on our speedometers;
In our minds and hearts.
So well said 👍🏻

To date I believe this is my favorite scenery we’ve seen thus far. Just fantastic in my eyes!!! Thank you brother!
YES!! Fishing boat. I travel vicariously through you. Let's go!!

Oh DEFINITELY the converted fishing boat round the coast !!
Hi Kevin 😃 I’m really impressed with how long this series is lasting, I’m loving every minute 😃 cheers mate and thank you for making my life better 😃
Really liked this slow pace and impressive almost fresco like mountain backdrop. Beautiful for sure! Thanks again.
Great episode, Kevin. Wonderful views, roads and weather. Thank you!
Yes please do the fishing boat. We love seeing all of your videos. Bill and Bonnie. Knoxville, Tennessee USA
Love these Kevin, it gets better and better. Great content, love all the conversations with the sheep, ducks, dogs etc. Maybe a compilation of weird conversations in the future.

Ahh, my weekly escape, just lovely. Thank you 😊
Great video as always, beautiful scenery.
Great to hear that David, thank you.
A wonderful few minutes on a memorable journey by motorcycle. Love it, love it, love it. Thank you Kevin and looking forward to the next video!

Amazing scenery has always good luck with your dreams tc now be safe the oldies 👍👍👍😍
Go for it Kevin. Life is short. Do what you want. I hope you video the whole thing. Love it!
Absolutely stunning scenery, brought tears to my eyes at 16 minutes. Thanks Kevin, all the best for a great weekend, Floss and Jan.
It was quite surreal seeing that view pop up on the horizon
magnificent scenery and well commented on,thanks for the journey.
Fishing boat? Yes!
Tim Spall did the boat thing Kev, went down well.
Hi Kevin, really enjoyed video mate, I can't wait for the next video to watch.
❤ Take care X X X
The scenery in this episode is so fine. ❤. Thank you for bringing us all along.
Such a diverse landscape- love the constant view of the water. So clear and perfect. A bit lonely looking at times.
Definitely get a fishing boat! I’m still working on getting a cabin cruiser. 😅
Absolutely Kevin….. get the fishing boat…. That would be fabulous 👍
Wow such beautiful scenery. Great video as always!
Great as ever. Love these videos. Feel like I’ve spent summer on this trip 😂
That part of the ride at the 25:30 mark was spectacular. I throughly enjoyed that. Thanks for that. And yes, a coastal boat is a great idea for sure.
The water was so clear, and so still. So calming and distracting.
@CountryHouseGent That stretch of road was so narrow it would have been a little treacherous to tarry there for too long.
gorgeous colors, twisty and challenging roads -- as always a striking video -- strongly recommend the fishing boat!!!
Great trip as always. Thanks Kevin😃
For me, the view from your bike speeding along the road proves quite dizzying. I don't know why it affects me this way. The scenery in this video is stunning, the mountains, water, and gorse. And so few people! 😮
Yay!!! Nice one Kevin. I hope this series never stops!😃
Another wonderful trip with stupendous scenery, sometimes looking like the western USA! Thank you again!!!

Another beautiful share. TH-cam has been really good, most of the time, bringing up your videos. When it comes to fishing and boating around. If it brings you joy, most definitely.
Fishing boat = do it, do it, do it! Don't wait! ❤
great vid on channel thanks for share
Yes in the fishing boat !
I remember being in Ullapool a million years ago looking outward to varying shades of grey hills as far as the eye could see getting paler and paler into the distance. Quite an experience. I am really enjoying your travels and haven’t you got great weather? You must have pleased the weather gods.
Beautiful as ever. And since you asked, 100% you should get the fishing boat and explore the coastlines of the U.K. But don't sell Azlan!!
Another enjoyable Friday ride along. I look forward to next Friday's ride.
Fishing boat is the greatest idea, Kevin! The motorcycle trip is so inspiring, cannot wait till tomorrow morning to hit the road, on four, not on two though, still wohoo to a new road trip!

Yes a brief stop at Lochinver is up next time.
Another great vlog Kevin, absolutely beautiful, l have been loving the sound of your BMW bike in the series, so just bought a Z4, now fancy a trip up to the Scottish Isles and getting the roof down 😁
You'll have a blast Gareth, even in these 'fresh' temperatures.
Thanks for the video 😀

It was a genuine surprise to turn the corner and be presented with that. Otherworldly.
Those sheep gave zero F's that you stopped by them, motor running, while they dined on some highland grass. Pretty chill.
I tooted my 🚙horn and gave you a wave coming out of Garstang around noon today.👌
I was on my way to the gym and thinking about what I'll have for lunch afterwards 😆
A fishing boat project sounds very interesting
Hey Kevin, what are those plants all on the side of the roads that you’ve been traveling. Is that Yarrow? Another great episode.
An old Clyde coasting puffer in the same as the Vital Spark.
That the vessel for me.
How about those very tiny sailboats that people have and they have a canvas cover to sleep under? That would make things exciting
Keep turning left! I am not sure, as your current channels are so interesting.
Hi kev
Just binge watched all of your motorcycle content, loved every minute.
You've come along way from the selling the camper and having your first cheese on toast on aslan .
Happy days mate hope you're well 👍
Do you want to do a @HarryDwyer to circumnavigate UK?
Loved your narrowboat videos as well as your scottish islands bike trip.
Wow that's a new channel on me. I'll be checking that out for sure.
That's wild ride 😅
I think the drive through France and Spain would be nice these islands look like the Olympic peninsula just trees and trees and ocean
Agreed, Europe is definitely on the horizon. :)
Thanks!
Oh thank you so much for that, you are very kind. Cheers 🤗
Have you seen this Series? It’s called “Wild Ireland” with Colin Stafford-Johnson. He rows a Wooden boat along the coast of Ireland. 😊 Maybe you can sail your fishing boat around the UK? You could call it trolling the UK. 😂

An early spoiler - so so on the Orkney. 😕
I haven't a thing except time invested in this latest triumph so my thought may not be admired....and yet, I must speak (type) out. I must!

Honestly, I adhere to the phrase, if it Floats, Fly's or F****, rent it don't buy it. 🐯
I mentioned weeks ago that we ought have "Travels by Trawler"
push bike? fansatic content,thanks!
another great vlog - stunning views and we are like two peas in a pod - we have had adventures on road trips around the uk, currently fitting out our narrowboat to cruise inland then would love to circumnavigate the uk in a fisher 34 motorsailer
Best of success to you. The only problem is finding the time to fit it all in. 😁
@@CountryHouseGent 🤣🤣yep time and money - a lottery win would be nice - if you ever need a crew just give us a call 🤣
Never heard the phrase push bike before, though there have been occasions when going up steep grades I did get off the bicycle and push it.
Push Bike comes from the earliest incarnation of the bicycle, with no pedals and was quite literally pushed along whilst sat in the saddle.
Nice
Some of those mountains certainly look like volcanic cones, but I searched around a bit, "ullapool geology" and such, and it seems they aren't. Ice age glaciers carved them perhaps?
Yes I believe Scotland is a mixture of glaciers and geo-pressure in the various plates.
The lost world that time forgot 😮
Beautiful sunny day for riding, Kevin wanted to ask do use a conditioner on your jacket to keep the leather supple? I had my first jacket for 30 years and then it shrunk! Haha I’m kidding, I started growing again side ways 😂. Thanks for the ride, Charlie from Pennsylvania 😊
Hi Charlie. The jacket is waxed cotton and I apply a waterproofing wax about once a year. Gives it a nice shine as well. 🙂
Fishing boat man get her dun
If only Carlsberg could see this Scenery, they would build a Scottish Brewery.
I'll bet you really missed the Harley on those back roads. Prime Harley cruising real estate that is. 😂
There were times when the sound of a Harley bouncing off the valleys and hills would've been icing on the cake.
@@CountryHouseGent I was thinking more that the horrible suspension would have made you miserable on some of those rough patches.
Are you sure the sat nav isn’t set to ‘use backroads only’ 😮😅😮
Ha…just kidding 😂😂
Actually it is. The sat nav has a setting called "Thrill". It cuts out all main roads and motorways. Chooses roads such as the ones I'm on. 🙂
You have "itchy feet" to be sure. A coastal tour afloat? Sounds expensive, dangerous but highly entertaining if yu could pull it off.
Yep Aslan needs a sister!
I'm trying to identify the mountains - somewhere to your right are Suilven and Canisp, two very distinctive lumps of rock around 800 m high.
Also stac polly
The stunning view at around 16 min is Stac Pollaidh on the left, Cul Beag behind and part of the Ben More Coigach massif towards the right. Later on there are viws of Suilven (around 18:48).
The road round to Lochinver doesn’t have many straight bits. Mercifully you weren’t harassed by too many motor homes or did you edit them out!
😆 Many motorhomes to come.
