@@PartsDrIt seems to involve the water inlet valve. It was totally malfunctioning and kept leaking in water when the machine was off. I had to turn off the water valve to the dishwasher. Maybe I should unplug it too? 🤔 Looks like I'll be handwashing dishes until Thursday when the repair person comes in. This is the dishwasher that the builder had in when I closed on my new house only 10 months ago. I'm pretty disappointed that Whirlpool valves can't even last 1 yr. Of course they tried to rope me in on a 'monthly maintenance plan' basically admitting that their product fails multiple times a year. Sigh.... I will see if they can replace it altogether with a new machine and then I'll save for a Bosch dishwasher in a year or two after that. The leak caused a big mess, and I'm hoping it didn't damage my floors/cabinet. 😢 I do not want to pull the whole dishwasher out on own, so I tried drying underneath the dishwasher after removing the panel at the bottom. 😢😢😢 This video helped me not to panic.
@@NovaPrincess Turn off water supply to the dishwasher, and remove the bottom cover and point a fan to blow down there to dry out any moisture. This should help until your repair person takes a look at it. Let us know what you find is the cause of the leak.

@@PartsDr They replaced the valve, but now it's makes a whistle sounds during cycles. Whirlpool is really up to no good, I'm afraid.
I thought the sump diverter gasket was replaceable.
It is not sold separately by Whirlpool.
