    Terrific ideas. Many presenters talk for about 2 minutes before demonstrating. You jump right in -- love it!

    WOW! Gary. Thanks, lots of great information. The record audio per slide will be a game changer for me! After making > 20 videos for my classes using Keynote, this one tip will save soooo much time. Loved the Line Draw!

    Thanks, Gary. Another very informative video. I can’t get over how versatile Keynote is. It has grown to be way more than just a presentation app.

    Gary, thanks for allll of this great information. One question, I'm trying to have multiple videos on 1 Keynote slide as you did in an early TH-cam (2012) but can't figure out how to get them to run simultaneously as you did. Seems with Big Sur and a new Keynote I can't get the same opportunity in QuickTime. Any suggestions? Thanks

    Thanks Steven for these videos, already helped me a lot. I am just looking for one more thing. I teach first aid. For the cpr we have interactive manikins with an app that shows you how are you performing. Can I somehow have this app opened in keynote while presenting so that I dont have to leave the presenting mode everytime a I want to use it? Thanks a lot for your help! Vendy

    • @macmost
      @macmost  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can't have an app inside Keynote like that. You'll need to switch from the presentation to that app. Using the app switcher or Mission Control and having that app in full screen mode should be it pretty seamless if you come up with a set of steps and practice switching.

      A month back I was asked to make a presentation for my organisation. I am a teacher and for Western teachers the use of PowerPoint is pretty sacrosanct.
      So I went ahead and produced my work in the said App only to find that it would not load properly.
      In the end I had to port the whole thing over to Keynote - such a waste of man power.
      It rescued the presentation for me but never again….sigh…

    Great! A question: it is the second time you show us the Line Draw action but I cannot find it in Keynote 10.1. There is Wipe which does almost the same. What version is your Keynote? Thanks.

    • @macmost
      @macmost  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It has been around for a while. But you have to make sure you have selected a line or non-filled path for it to be an option. Watch carefully how I do it in the video.

    Excellent presentation! I have a question about the Keynote interface that I wondered if you could help with. I use Dark mode on my computer and I usually use slides with black backgrounds for my presentation. But there's almost no contrast between the Keynote interface canvas and slide so I can't see where it ends. Do you know how to change the color of software background so I can see the slides?

    • @macmost

      In Big Sur, most toolbar icons are simple line drawings that are one color. That's how they look.
