    After watching your video I watched a couple of other tutorials, but I couldn't finish because either it was fast and unclear, or I couldn't see where they clicked, or didn't know what function are for what they clicked. I think you are still No.1, probably because you are a teacher, understand the struggle of learners, and know how to teach step by step from scratch.👍JX ❤

    You are a perfect Instructor!!!
    Your style and clarity is second to none.
    Thank you so much for sharing your talents!!!
    I hate trying to learn from folks on TH-cam. Because, they don't know how to teach. They have no idea how to speak clearly and slowly. You do this perfectly! Your on screen presentation is easy to see as you enlarge the portion of the screen so we can actually see what you are doing.
    I can't thank you enough. I am so fortunate to have stumbled upon your channel. Yes, I definitely subscribed!!!

      Yep! I needed a quick tutorial for a presentation- looked at others but felt I needed more. Watched the 1 before this (here), then this one and I feel confident- surprised I do, because they are so concise. Dude is a natural teacher!

    I didn’t see any difference between PP & KN. Perhaps a side by side, or point out the differences that might occur. Overall, easy to understand & seems useful. Ty

    Terrific presentation on creating presentations! Do you have a tutorial that speaks to adding music and timing the slides to music that can then be timed out to switch slides at certain points in the music? Any direction in that area would be very helpful - thank you. Otherwise, great job!

    I was hoping you’d cover adding narration over each, or all the slides in the presentation. Wanted to make a presentation w my voice narrating throughout, then upload it using Kaltura since my online class requires it.

    I noticed you only used one language in your presentation. In my presentations I use two or more languages, and I’m having a hard time switching between the languages as this is also my first experience with keynote over PowerPoint. I’d like to be able to check the grammar in at least two languages, and save those changes in a dictionary like I’m able to do on Microsoft Word etc.

    I'm going to switch producing my lectures from PowerPoint to Keynote. Need to research integration with Kaltura.

    • @dimiterpetroff3409
      @dimiterpetroff3409 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m going to be doing the same. Keynote, then through Kaltura. Have you had any luck? Thanks

    • @Palehowl
      @Palehowl 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dimiter Petroff no luck. But I’ve changed how I do lectures to a TED-talk format. I highly recommend PRESENTING by Norman Eng EDD and DELIVER by Akash Karla. I use Corel’s Video Suite as a production platform with a Fujifilm AX5 camera. I can add ‘slides’ from Keynote through VS to the video lecture to give it polish. Keynote shines because I now use high impact visuals with much less text. Once I’ve got an MP4, I upload it to Kaltura to embed quiz questions. As a last step, I upload the Kaltura file to Brightspace where it links the quiz to its gradebook. Oye!

    I like your tutorial videos. Because I like them, I am offering you this bit of advice. In the videos, NEVER use the words, "quickly", "simply" or "just". It is not simple, quick or obvious to the people watching the video and using these words makes the viewer panic.

    • @techteachersandstudents
      @techteachersandstudents  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for the tip! I can't promise that I won't use those words in the future, but I'll try. :) At my age, some words and phrases have just become part of how I speak. I could script all my videos in advance in order to avoid certain words, but that would take the joy out of it for me. Thanks for watching and for caring enough to comment.
