- Today I wanted to try out Mewtwo in battle stadium singles in pokemon scarlet and violet! Mewtwo is very commonly referred to as being a bad legendary pokemon and one of the worst legendary pokemon currently available to use in Reg G. Especially when pokemon like Koraidon, Miraidon and Calyrex Shadow dominate the tier. Even Zamazenta Crowned won a VGC tournament and is very usable now. People said it was bad, got worse, won a tournament which makes me wonder why Mewtwo is still not seen being used at all. So let's try it out in competitive singles in the master ball tier of Battle Stadium singles!

i always thought mewtwo was lame until i saw splashplate become the #1 ranked player with him, this man cant be stopped

They need to redistribute mewtwo's attack stats into his sp. atk and speed, and give him an ability like moraidon/koraidon but instead sets up physhic terrain. he's supposed to be the peak pokemon according to the lore...

In a meta game where both calarex shadow and flutter mane are present, of course mewtwo is unviable
i feel like smeargle could actually be nice with sash, spore, ceasless edge, another decent move, and burning bulwark/other protect variants.
sash lets you live turn 1 while you spore, spore lets you live a min of 1 turn, mostly 2, and if the opponent switches you could protect. this way you're getting a ton of moody boosts to hopefully up your speed, spore a mon or two, and get some spikes layers up (also, you could burn physical attackers with bulwark)

Amnesia Mewtwo could definitely work and catch a lot of people off guard! Would have to be very selective about positioning it though and what to set up against, i could give it a try though
bro i was always wondering why no one uses mewtwo even though its special attack is so good! btw I think it would be cool to cover all your bases and also do doubles so its like you have wifi, singles and doubles.

I’ve been LOVING ur vids and If u could can u make a list of good singles Pokémon for noobs like me? I’ve been able to make a team but been struggling to try to make counters to the meta. Tho I’d it’s to difficult I can understand cause I understand the doubles meta not singles meta

@@SplashPlate Yes thank u my main problem is I don’t know what good i can make teams but then they soon just stop winning once im up against more experienced players! So if u could do more underused pokemon like ur iron treads I think that could be a good vid!
